Obsidian huffed as he detected some traces of life, one that he recognized as Starlight and another one that also felt familiar but was slipping his mind at the time, though he did not bother to think about it much before he turned to head towards the entrance he came in through, the pipe organ appearing again and the same melody playing again, but with more power, the cloud of darkness trembling before expanding more and more, covering almost everything between the unicorn and the entrance he came through in total darkness.
Obsidian dissolved into the black fog again, this time near impossible to detect due to the darkness spreading, though it couldn't stay spread out like this for long, the abyssal darkness condensing and drawing towards him as he traveled through it, skipping the broken bridge and several other obstacles as the darkness essentialy behaved like a road of it's own to him, the unicorn soon arriving at the entrance and appearing more than a bit winded judging by his heavy breath.

((Obsidian does have a massive magic store, doesn't mean that it doesn't get tiresome or straining to use it in large bursts, particularly when not having had the need to do so for a long while, and the half-deaf thing makes sense, though Naura's reactions I guess we will leave to her.))
