Well...

I'm ready as I'll ever be.  I've downloaded both versions (32& 64), in case one has an issue, the other most likely will not.

All the servers are currently down in my location.

I feel sorry for the LoE team. They have so much work to do at the moment for our enjoyment.

I am thankful for your efforts, though. I hope to see more servers in better conditions. 

I wonder how they are dealing with the pressure. I wish them the best...

Are any of the servers working for you all?

Having difficult on each & every one. Either it times out or the server shuts down.   

What's worse, after dong fine & re-acquiring the items for my pony Night Star: Boots, side-saddle bags, & helmet, then experiencing a server shut down. I discovered after I logged back in... I'm back to the start point. All my items gone

I'm calling it for today.  Hope whatever issue they are experiencing is fixed by tomorrow.

YES!!!

Finished downloading it, unzipped, scanned it with my anti-virus software. No problems. Than cliked Loe. Then my anti-virus software blocked it.

Had to open my anti-virus to allow it to execute the program.

When to many people are trying to download, that happens. Sorry you are having trouble. 

Even though I'm probably the lucky ones, it is just taking forever for me to download.

Well I'm glad you are able to download it! I hope you have fun, maybe I will be able to play it tomorrow. 

The download bar has not budge for several minutes now.

I'm doing the same thing, reloading the download page about every 15 to 20 minutes.

You have to upload a new game version because they added stuff, them means that you loose all the data of your character. You have to redesign your pony have the codes for your character to export the PonyCodes into the Unity Character editor when you log-in into the game.

Too bad there is no way to save what you earned from the previous game versions.

Well, you can't save it because as you've said, they added new stuff so the old versions may have changed since then!

Still bugs that you can't save, I have to start all over to get my little guy his stuff.

But I got the codes saved, so at least I don't have to waste time remaking him.

the creator has been updated since the last OSW so you may need to do some tweeks to your pony once you've imported the code.

Indeed, I just checked.  The codes are different!

Don't worry. That's why they have these Open Servers because they can figure out the bugs and make it better! It'll be great once the game is finally complete. In 1,000 years from now!

Seems they are a little behind with the build. But the moderator has posted it will be available 10 minutes before it opens.

Well, I guess it's because they're having problems with the servers. Technical difficulties I guess? The game is pretty advanced so I can imagine flaws in it. After all, if they're weren't, the game would already be officially released. But that will never happen in the next 50 years.

I wonder if it will be free or not. I cannot believe they will not charge some form of membership fee to play. All that time they put to develop the game, & time is money.

But I do remember a particular bug I encountered on the last open server weekend. When I used the 64 version, my little guy got stuck at the entrance of Sugarcane Corner (Sugar Cube Corner).  Using the 86 version got me out.

Well...

I got my little guy ready to go.  Once I import the codes for Night Star, first thing I do is get his golden helmet in the 1st quest in Cloud City, then earn bits to buy his boots & his side-saddle bags. Then I'm off to have fun!

I just noticed this on the website, and are all excited now!
Tho, something that have been bugging me is...

Do you have to make new characters? Or are the characters you made still there?

Im pretty sure you will have to make new characters. usually after stress test all the ponies that were created are wiped because old ponies will glitch with the new version of the game because of things being added / changed

To expand on what Sleuth stated, which is correct, as the database would get wiped after every test, you can make your pony in the Pony creator in the media section on the front page and save the ponycode.  Unless there is an update you should be able to use that ponycode to save your oc

I just tested my codes from the osw before the last one(January's) and the one before that and they both still work.

I have my character ready to be imported. The only thing I have to acquire my characters items all over again. But at least I can do it quickly, by earning bits.
