If you are selected, I believe that they will give you a link to DL the game through a PM which is how they're gonna contact you IF you are one of the people selected for the testing phase.
Not everyone will have the opportunity to play the game and find more bugs that can be taken care of.

I've sent in my application.
Every day since August 1st I've been checking everyday for anything new on the main page. And now it's finally here.
I pray to Celestia that I am one of the chosen ones. But not everyone will get a piece of cake. Sorry Pinks.
Good luck to everyone that applied and if we end up on the server together, then I can't wait to see you all then! If not, see you on the other side.

I honestly can't wait myself! I originally saw this post on the day it came out. I've been visiting the website every single day since the last server open weekend came to a close which was way back in July. I honestly can't wait.
This game will probably be the only thing I play for awhile. I've gotten bored with Call of Duty and other games except Need For Speed on PS4. But other than that, I look forward to applying! I played closed BETA for World of Tanks back in 2010 and played World of Warships open beta during its final testing.
I also look forward into helping with this games production further as I have a set goal for the LoE Moderation Team. To be one of them one of these days. Someday.
I've followed LoE since Pre-Alpha and the stress test. Which was years ago. Long time.
When applications open, I'll definitely be applying right away!
Just for a side note here, I do wish there would be a integrated voice chat system like what World of Tanks has or what Call of Duty has. However, Unity 3D is completely incapable of doing so. I could be wrong, but the amount of coding it would take and the cost of maintaining those codes to stay in their proper positions would be an extreme hassle I presume.
I would just stick with like Teamspeak 3, Mumble, Discord, etc.
Which once the limited access release, I will likely open my Teamspeak 3 server to those that want to hang out and play LOE on that are able to play the limited access release which is basically closed beta for final testing. But many of you I assume will have their own servers probably, but I'd still offer to help the community for a place to hang out and have a good time playing the game doing the quests and stuff.
Wrapping this up, I'll still be checking out for the applications to be opened and I pray to Celestia that I will be chosen.

Yes,
if you've read two of my previous posts regarding this, it says on the post there will be applications to get a spot to be part of the official limited access release. Spots will be LIMITED until they can open it up to everyone.
This December 2016 will be the official opening of the game but again, you have to get a spot to be part of the opening. It's pretty simple actually.
You apply for a spot as soon as the apps come. Which my prediction is either October or November when those will be released as it comes closer to release.
Not everyone will get to be part of the grand opening of the servers for good!

I've been doing stuff like this since 2010.
There's usually a good chance that people would be approved to have the OFFICIAL Release download to your email.
However, the games I played were huge and had thousands of players playing closed beta. But for a game like this built on Unity, I'm sure that there's a limit of just how many players can be on the servers. There are 3 servers. The Europe Server and 2 USA Servers.
Within time, there would probably be another EU Server or 2 more and maybe 1 more USA Server.
I'm blabbing off again.. Anyway, basically you have to fill an application for the Limited Access Release. I do not know when those will be posted, probably either in October or November of this year. In December, does not say what day the servers officially opened to those selected for the Limited Access Release. Basically you could say it's a Closed Beta. I'd appreciate if a MOD here could backup this and clarify it better than I could.
In the end mate, it's FIRST COME. FIRST SERVE.

I do understand that,
A limited access release it meant that there is only a handful of people that would be able to join on the servers.
I've been doing stuff like this since 2010 on other games that were coming out. To my interest anyway.
I do hope when the applications come out that there would be a good approval percentage rate.

Hello everypony!
I'm not actually new, I've been following Legends of Equestria since 2012! I was a Pre Alpha tester. I was under a different name then but now I'm officially my OC ingame!
Note: Idk what my old name was in the stress test.
Anyway, I'm actually gonna start using the forums though it's been 4 years. I've mainly followed the game during updates and I've had to miss a few open weekends cause of work and stuffs.
But I'm here now and that's what matters right?
I have been a brony since 2012. I was part of one other forum, MLPForums. I no longer use that website. I retired from it. Some ponies just aren't very nice.
My fave pony is Fluttershy. She's my waifu!
About to turn 19 years old on August 19th Btw.
