Woohoo! I got in!  O:

My condolesences to those who didn't receive anything.  :s

I'm not sure if legit or trolling.

Hmm, troll.

PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN PONY.  ovO

Seriously though, they'll probably send out a mass PM or something or PM each individual of who made it in. As the day gets closer, I get more nervous and anxious cause I'm dying to play the game and also help contribute to the games development process as it comes near completion.

That's what I'm counting on. That way, even if they don't send out rejection notices, I will still know for sure.

They did say 2 weeks until they know who for sure got in.

They never specifically said what date they will send out PM's to those who did make it in.

I know, everyone's getting excited and impatient. Myself included. But, I'll be honest that I know that I didn't make it. I'll be surprised tbh if I did considering HOW many people applied cause they could only grant access to a handful like say.. over 100 maybe? or more. Who knows what the server capacity is without it going crazy.

I hope it'll be good considering that it'll be shown in Theaters and how long it's gonna be. It might be longer than a EQG Movie.

Actually it IS your PC. No Man's Sky requires GPU with OpenGL 4.5

Well in a week all will be known and most likely when someone get a PM i bet one of the first people will write it here that he/she did

No doubt someone that was chosen will be Hyper and be like "I was chosen!"  O:

So the LAR starts in a week. And it's been 2 weeks since the LAR Applications closed. Does this mean we should be hearing back today?

Ya never know mate.

They could today, tmrw, the day after tmrw.. like I said, it could happen anytime.

I've been waiting patiently myself and have been wondering all this time rather who has been chosen for LAR. Well, hopefully in a few days or less that wait will be over and they may make an announcement saying they've looked all the Applications over and have made their decisions.

Just keep checking your inboxes guys cause you may find that golden letter from LoE Staff saying "Congratulations".

Off-Topic / Re: Dumb things that annoy you

Dumb things that annoy me huh?

Well, for one thing. Working for fast food companies can be a drag. But working for Raising Canes, it's actually good for once.

But there's still people that don't take their trash to the trashcan that's like right by the front door that they're surely leaving out of.. like seriously? You're telling me and my crew that it's our job to clean after your mess you left on your table?

Uhm, when did we become busboys or busgirls? Take your trash and THROW IT AWAY WHEN YOU LEAVE THANKS..  >:O

I hate people like that.. it annoys me so much.

Well there was a question saying to add your computer information and I only added the type of my computer and the intel core and that it has RADEON graphics. I am not sure if I mentioned that I use windows  :o

You're pretty much on the right track but they were looking for the specifics I believe so that's what I did in my application for the specs I had in my last custom built desktop.

The specs in my new build that I use now is different then what I originally put in my application all that time ago. But I'm not really worried about it.

Click on Start -> run -> type

devmgmt.msc

Or download GPU-z

That or take a look inside your computer if it's a desktop.. or better yet, know your computer specs by heart! Real gamers know their specs by memory  ^-^

Just being honest here...  :l

I did get a new computer which is an upgrade from my last build I had so the specs i listed in my application are completely different now but still...

Btw, easier way to get some of your computer specs is to go to your file browser (yellow folder) go to that monitor icon that displays all your folders, storage spaces etc.
Right click, properties and then it'll show your processor and ram.

But take Dark Twi's suggestion and quickly DL GPU-Z it'll display everything.

I think I did not write my computer things well... Ohhhhh I am confused!!!   :I

What are you confused about? I could maybe help.

Yikes.

Some of you forgot to put in your forum name  O:

That's why it's important to DOUBLE CHECK no no, TRIPLE CHECK (I'm being Twilight right now.  X3 ) to make sure you didn't miss anything.

No worry though, not the end of the world.  :D

I'd most likely think forum pm and or email or both.

The LAR Application had a question that asked for your Forum name. That's how they know who to contact if they're selected. I think you'll receive a PM from Ellowee or someone else that will tell you "Hey congrats you've been selected for the LAR"
35
Pegasus cause I play as my OC Raincloud which is a Pegasus <3

In 2 weeks, we will know who has made it in... well, probably not here. We'll see in our inboxes.
37
I wonder how many people actually sent in their applications. If it's a lot (Which I know a lot of people have applied) , we know it'll take at least another week or two before they actually start sending PM's to those who were chosen.

Apps end on the 21st of November. The topic has been viewed well over 4,000 times. So, a good portion of those views must be those who applied.

There will still be plenty more from now until then.

I know some of you will start getting impatient after the 21st. Remember this, cause I know I'll be that way too. "Good things come to those who wait patiently without question."

Remember that my fellow ponies.

Then expand towards the stars! :D
The Beta Release would be 20% Cooler with Dodge Junction, Los Pegasus, Manehattan, Stalliongrad, Gigantum, & Trottingham! Though the question is...: Will we still have our character data from the Alpha release upon transfer to the Beta release...?

You know, I actually wonder if they're gonna do something like that later on after the games Official Release, open to the public forever.

It'd be cool really to have patches like that cause you know all the quests can be done within a few days if played non stop I think. They probably will, they haven't said a word about it though but we'll see I guess.

Devs, if you haven't thought about expanding LoE to those Equestrian Cities, PLEASE do that!  :3

Ooh nice!  :D
To be honest I was breaking testing smaller games and giving feedback/talking with fellow devs before, but I think I'll pass this time and just wait. I have a job and it's kinda difficult to find some free time besides weekends, so I wouldn't be much of help anyway, due to my poor accessibility.

The game was really nice during open weekend. The biggest issue was the bugged and poorly balanced battle system .. aaand the character development in general. I liked the game, but it would be great to see it fully-working.  <3

I used to play many MMO's, but they all started looking the same and they were usually poorly balanced, which is the main issue with these games. Even 'Tibia' was much better balanced than most of the 3D MMO's nowadays - I hope, that LoE will become a very enjoyable and well balanced MMO, that will be worth of hours and hours of gameplay. I'll have fun playing this game with my younger brother. ;)

Good luck to both, everypony who applied - Have fun with testing and to devs - I hope everything will be going well! :3

I imagine LoE being one of the most popular MMO's amongst bronies and children.

The game is built by a team that isn't a multi-billion dollar company like Blizzard, Wargaming, Nexon, etc. The people that have built this game has been entirely done by many people who volunteered to put in their skills to help the games development. I guess you would say it's a community effort that is directly team based.

They use as much of their time as possible to continue to build the game. It takes so much dedication to build any video game. It's taken years for LoE to reach where it stands now as it'll come to be officially released I believe in early 2017??

The Limited Access Release is basically a clean up stage. To hunt down bugs that still exist before games prior release. However, even games that we play today that have been out for years still have bugs in them but are very small and un-noticeable. But big bugs and errors such as script errors are serious and can give the player a bad experience.

Since the game is Free To Play, there will never be any addons or special items that you could buy with real money. That would just ruin the game. Many games today that are MMO's have those options because it's what gives the company money to be able to create another game of that series.

I'd imagine sometime years later when LoE has been out for awhile, I could probably see them creating another version of the game but on a top of the line game engine such as Unreal Engine 4 or whatever is updated at the time or they stick with Unity. They're both good game engines. I took a game programming class in high school. That didn't go so well but I still passed the semester for my elective credit.. somehow  :s .

Anyway, since the first OSW which took place on July 5th, 2013, there have been many bugs that we as a community have been finding to be fixed. The game itself has come a very long way since the stress test which was the pre-alpha stage which I was a part of. Boy, it was a naked game! There was really nothing to do during that time lol.
But all that has changed! The game itself now is pretty solid even in the last OSW but there were still bugs and even some major errors that you had to do some looking in order to find them.

This is really one of the only other projects that Hasbro has not tried to demolish because of the names of the cities, towns and villages and other stuff that were changed and didn't match what the show actually had. MLP Fighting is Magic was supposed to be one of the most popular fighting games in the brony community but we all know how that turned out... but there's a tribute version of that game so it didn't die out entirely. No one can stop the brony fandom. Which I'm glad LoE didn't get screwed on by them because of how much time and effort has been put into this game. So much love, care and dedication and the community has helped the game to where it currently stands and hopefully will be officially released in the coming months.

I certainly hope that this post can be agreed upon and given a hoof bump.

Cheers!
