MLP: FiM SD Archive / A question about Somnambula's magic

In Legends of Magic and s7e18, we know that Somnambula is a pegasus, but in s7e1, Starlight tells Sunburst that Somnambula could use a real (or a unicorn) spell(sorry i cannot name it 
). I'm so confused about that.
