Known Bug, PEBKAC, or Need to Make a Report

Twice now I've tried to go the magic talent mark route (limited to non-existent [that I can find or listed in the wiki] artisan materials "mining" made my first char route a no-go for me) and twice I grow up with no graduation or anything......
Am I doing something wrong, is this a known issue, do I need to read up on how to do it and file a report, or what?

Something similar happened with my earth pony. Upon finishing your talent mark quest you are *supposed* to be teleported to Cantermore as an adult pony. This doesn't appear to always happen, but the game is still in development. The solution is to go to Cantermore yourself and find the graduation hall (the graduation is happening behind it).
