Hey every pony does anypony know a game we can all meet in?I know theres minecraft ,and we have a server ,but some ponies didn't buy it ,and yes theres TF2 ,but we just kill eachother with a little chatting I mean a game we just hangout ,and do game stuff in free ,and isnt all about killing eachother so we can just hang out.

I was looking around and I found a game called "Equestria Online" but only the demo is available. I haven't tried it as of yet, though it looks quite good. To be honest, I don't even know if it is multiplayer in the demo, but once it's downloaded I'll check and reply back. B)

The LoE team is comprised of ex-EO members. EO fell apart for assorted reasons, and will not be completed.

If you're going to pick a game just for the sake of "getting together", make sure the PC demands and Graphic Requirements aren't strict, as not all of us have the best of computers.

This is EO if you go on its website you will see a problem with the team happened ,and the game got cancelled the rest of team made LoE ,and many ponies from the EO forums came here this is the same game ,but under a different leadership so many of the old EO ponies moved here myself included.
I'd hesitantly suggest Second Life since there's a Rated G pony community there, but
1. It's Second Life
2. You have to download it
3. It's laggy for some people, like me
I'm a bit late with this, but now that there are a bunch of well-made F2P MMOs, perhaps we could co-opt one of those, like LotRO or something? Haven't played many of those myself, so I don't know too much about which would be best.
If you want something about socializing in the meantime, I would suggest Second Life but, of course, it is Second Life and it has adult rated sims and lag XD.
Other game I would suggest is Spiral Knights. It find it rather casual and simple and it lets you talk and have fun in instances.
If it were still on, my main suggestion would be Earth Eternal BUT... poop hitted the fan long time ago.

There used to be a MLP MUSH but it's no longer running. A MLP MU* would be a great place to hang out daily and socialize, it's basically a text based MMORPG.

Err... I used to play Free Realms on PS3. After few months I found it on PC and gave it a try. And what can I say? Too many limitations. After fifth level in certain profession(ie. Football Star) you can't use this profession until you will buy premium pack. Free Realms isn't a good idea.

You have to be thirteen to join Gaia Online. Also, there are some inappropriate clothes and some players tend to talk about really rude things. :\

I tried Free Realms once. I was bored, so I figured "Why not?" I was immediately stumbling over the controls, they were so terrible. There were an awful lot of people around in town, so they lagged me. Even the controls for fighting monsters seemed clumsy. I didn't really like it.

I would say Club Penguin but it gets bad because there is no pvp minigames exept the game card... Witch is lame. And I think the community is majitorily French... But that's only because I only went on french server. And it does have a premium membership that is a monthly thing so it's also lame... But it helped when I wanted to meet someone to chat with. Those guys and girls where added to my old skype but we never really talk...
So you can play if you really just want to chat but for anything else, don't.

We could try BYOND (http://www.byond.com/)... Basically a service like steam, but all the games are free and you have to use your internet browser to look at games... There is a ton, and you can even create your own (if you know know how to code, and use pixal art)

I must say that Planet Calypso looks absolutely astounding... Though I'm not sure if it'll put too much strain and stress on the PC when playing like Second Life does.
^ Those are all "social" games. If you don't really mind action and stuff there are many other games out there for the browser but sometimes the game itself overwrites one's ability to just hang out with each other.
I, personally, have been thinking about playing Pangya. It seems relaxed enough to be social as well.
The only 2 games suitable for this wold be Global Agenda, and Black Prophecy. Both Free :D

I don't mind Global Agenda, it lags a bit on my laptop but it's nothing too severe (for me at least). I may get back into it if a few others are interested.
Global Agenda? That doesn't even make sense.
Try thinking of something that EVERYONE can enjoy, and that we can use more for social means than action. Last time I checked Global Agenda...it's the opposite.

umm guys i dont meen to interject but woulnt it be a good idea to estabish boundrys for your mmo such as
game type: do you want to fight or purly socilise
community: do you just wish to meet or will it require a guild systm
Game form: browser based or install
those are just some examples but again im just making a sugestion to make desisions easyer
1) Mixture, but not too much action as it could destroy the social aspect.
2) Just meeting is fine for me but a guild would help us keep list. Though the leader and members would have to earn tons of G to level it up.
3) Either. But not too big an install or too stressful on the PC. Also no Unity games.
This is why I was thinking of Pangya. It's just fantasy anime golfing. lol

Okay well I just tried it and... Pangya really is the CUTEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. Even cuter than Eden Eternal... And though you're competing against other people, you don't form any hate against them. It's quite friendly and so are the players. Lastly, it took me less than 30 minutes to go through EVERY process of getting it on my old used laptop - from download to patching and startup - and it doesn't lag or stress my computer AT ALL.
In fact, this is the least stressful game I have ever played...for myself and my computer...
So yeah >.>; Just food for thought...

There's also the fact that Minecraft not be for everyone. Though, to me, it feels like it's impossible for it to not be for everyone. I love Minecraft.
But I'm also the kind of person who doesn't really want to spend money on something I'm only gonna use once or for a short amount of time, then never use it again. So I can understand if someone who doesn't really enjoy Minecraft wouldn't want to buy it just for the sole purpose of hanging out on it for a little while until LoE comes out.
Personally, though, I think it'd be fun for all of us to hang out and build stuff together and have "lego talk". :3
I actually used to be on a server called Ponycraft and a few other servers but now I just log into Travius's server every now and then I kind of wish more people would play on the server, I can't really get myself to play SP anymore other then to eventually fight the ender dragon, since it's more fun building large towns with other people then in SP.

There's also the fact that Minecraft not be for everyone. Though, to me, it feels like it's impossible for it to not be for everyone. I love Minecraft.
But I'm also the kind of person who doesn't really want to spend money on something I'm only gonna use once or for a short amount of time, then never use it again. So I can understand if someone who doesn't really enjoy Minecraft wouldn't want to buy it just for the sole purpose of hanging out on it for a little while until LoE comes out.
Personally, though, I think it'd be fun for all of us to hang out and build stuff together and have "lego talk". :3
You don't stay on minecraft for a short time though.You usually stay for 2 years , and quit for a month.Then come back for more two years , and so on.
Some people are different. :\ Some people might not get as much into Minecraft.
And I've actually run into people who couldn't buy Minecraft for whatever reasons.
