Honestly I'm mostly posting because I can't see my username and I think this is the only way for me to find out what it is! So nice to meet you all

Name: Mercy
Gender: Mare

Description:
Mercy is a tan Mare with dark brown patches on her flanks and nose, often mistaken for mud or paint. Her mane is mid length and messy, colored dark charcoal with chocolate brown highlights. She has bright purple colored eyes. She's usually clothed, wearing the same brown leather vest and white long sleeved shirt beneath it as well as a red ruffled cloth around her neck. Her hind legs are covered down to her ankles, leaving her hind hooves bare but her front legs are completely bound in leather held by black leather bands.
Mark:
Her cutiemark is a jar with 3 paintbrushes inside and a cloth tied around the top of the jar.

Attributes: Mercy's talent is art which has granted her a creative eye for a detail and swift efficiant hooves. Beyond drawing she's not good at much else. She's always got a willingness to explore and discover new things to draw, making it easy for her to cross the boundary between what's allowed and what's not. She's not as physically strong as most earth ponies as it's never required for her special talent though she can be quick and tricky, and her eye for detail helps her to point out the weaknesses of others.

Mercy was born in Caterlot, greeted by expectations turned to disappointment. Being an earthpony born to a family of magic users wasn't the best start, so they tried to steer her towards other things that would contribute to the family name. Then her cutiemark came, an event rather unappreciated when her talent was revealed as usless in her family's eyes but it made her strive to learn more though her yerning to follow her cutiemark was so great. To make up for her lack of magic she studied magical objects, using her at skills and eye for detail to learn and document them, drawing images and diagrams to add to her studies. After spending a portion of her time studying magic items she got bored and knew there were many other wonderful things out there that she could put on paper for others to see that might not necessarily get to see for themselves so she set off with a blank sketch book and a set of lead sticks she likes to draw with and made her way into the unknown, hoping to find a way to return and impress her father and be something important in his eyes.

Family: There is not much to be known about Mercy's family as she never really talks about them, the only thing to ever be known is that both her parents were magic casters and her mother left when she was young but she still holds a bond with her father and she has no siblings.
