Chickens are rare and luckily, I somehow got two. Eggs/hatchlings are fogged when they are over viewed. When eggs and hatchlings get too many views, they can die. I'll be willing to breed any eggs for you folk here, but you mustn't trade them away. Also, maybe we can all start our own group lineage? What y'all think?

In short, an egg hatches around '4 Days Left' and the hatchlings grow around '4 Days Left' too. ^-^

funny cuz my dragon hatched and fully grew in only 7 days not eight

I mean that if three days are gone, then four days are left.

Explore the site, you may find some ingrediants. Also, does anyone know any recipies that use cocoa beans, flour, grain, ice, mushroom, or yeast?

I think i found all ingrediants, im trying to make ginger bread house now

I've found two recipies, cheese and apple slices. You put milk in the preperation one for cheese and put fruit in the preperation for apple slices. I'm trying to make chocolate milk or hot chocolate but I don't think there's a recipie for that XD

there's one for hot chocolate, did you find the recipe for gumdrops, hard candy, or gingerbread?

Can't do random recipes on tablet. :l I think I know how to make some things without recipes.

Minestrone: oven meat+vegetables+herbs+grain+boiling water
Meringue: prep eggs+sugar
Meat Pie: oven meat+plain dough
Ham & Cheese Sandwich: prep cheese+roast meat+bread
Fruitcake: oven fruit+spices+plain dough
Fruit Jam: prep fruit+sugar
Eggnog: prep egg+milk+spices
Chicken & Salad Sandwich: prep fruit+vegetables+roas chicken+bread

I actually just started playing again. I generally tend to camp where you can pick up abandoned eggs to try and snag eggs that only have a limit of 1-4 days to hatch until they die. They usually hatch pretty fast and it's a great way to try and populate my small scroll.  ;)

And guys, you don't have to worry about posting your dragons to get views and clicks. Just use the hatcheries that fans made.

eB67q, or"Abvadius Evergreen", as I've just named him, comes from a proud line of green dragons, and if you don't click on him repeatedly until 5 days are over, he is going to die. So, please don't let that happen!

I know what my personal text and sig say, but I promise you, no dragons were slain in the acquisition of this egg. I'm trying to reform my reputation with dragons, here. Abvadius was abandoned on a pile of pebbles, and I rescued him.

Weeeeeeell... I only have Abvadius right now. I'll raise more eventually. Maybe once he grows up, I'll get a few more eggs.  Then, I'll have an actual collection, instead of just one dragon.

At your current level your limit is 4 eggs and 12 hatchlings/eggs total. Dragons take awhile to grow, you might wanna max out. ;)

And I just maxed out. Got my fourth egg after I made the incubator, so it won't show up until about a half hour from now, when I update it.

Yup, it's strongly recommended to put your eggs in the ER when they hit 3 days or less.

Although that wasn't at me, I'll take that advice!

The reason your eggs hatched so fast was because they're all commons. Rare dragons generally require many more views before they hatch.

What if I told you... that eggs are auto-abandoned under certain conditions due to certain Dragon Cave mechanics over which you have no control over?

That's what I meant by "how many at a time" - you say "too many", but I want to know how many that is in, say, an hour.

According to the wiki, your egg has what's known as "softshell" sickness. It's the same thing as what Saintirl (S_Realm) and I have been talking about. You just need to hide your egg for about a day until it heals.

It doesn't really matter; he won't get views either way, as long as he's hidden. I'd suggest taking him out, though.

In order to access the trading features of Dragon Cave you need to own an Magi Dragon. They have the BSA (Breed Specific Action) 'Teleport' which enables you to start trades and one-way transfers. If you'd like I can send you a Magi Dragon egg to help you get started (or you could try to nab one from the desert!)

Names? I just name mine after songs. Although a lot of them are taken. So my dragon had to be named "The Blister Exists". What a lame name! I'll have to change it when I find a song fitting for that dragon.

You can't put two pictures, but you can make an incubator.
Go to account or somethibng like that and it'll show you an Incubator setting

How does one get one like you?

If you've been to enough Dragon Cave fan sites eventually you come across some really nice sig generators. And they update automatically to boot!

I could give you a list of some of the Dragon Cave websites that I use personally although a more complete list can be found on the wiki.

I generated myself a new sig and got a new egg.

Congratulations on exploring the diverse array of Dragon Cave fan-made resources. Which site did you use?

Eggs Around the World. It has a signature image generator with the same kinds of pictures as the one you had, as you can tell from the similarity between our pics.

Lol, I got mine from a different site but they both probably link to the same sig generator. Hmm maybe I should cobble together my own... nah, I don't know to code. :P

If you took one from the abandoned egg page check to see if it has a lineage. It'll tell you who its parents are as well as all potential ancestors.

The first is a male, and the rest is a female, and I still have no idea what to name any of them.

You name them, what you want to name them. I usually name my dragons whatever comes to mind (not too difficult). So if his name is gonna be Golden Pie than darnit it will! Then for the last name I usually do some last name inheritance that you might find in medieval nobility.

I just give mine Random Names...

How exactly would I do that?

On automatic click sites they have a special section for eggs and hatchlings with less than 3 days left. It basically spams a lot more views than they normally would to ensure it hatches before it dies.

I can't use the first name, since I assume it's for my already-named Green Dragon. The other four will be applied, though, thanks! And thanks for the advice on naming. It should help with the new hatchlings.

You did upload your picture to a picture hosting site right? The one on Dragon Cave is temporary and is automatically deleted after a few hours.

Creating names isn't reallt that difficult... :s Just look at your dragon and write a first thing that appears in your mind. If it's taken - change one word or add something. I wanted to name my second, orange dragon "Shiny Eye" but it was taken so I changed it into a "Shy Eye".  ;)

She is also very quiet and timid.
I hope that those descriptions will be accepted. :D

Is your third an adult, because sadly adults don't show in these, but that's becasue there are people with over 1000 dragons.

Yes, you can use the incubator provided with Dragon Cave. Be warned though, it is quite large and takes up lots of space which is why I prefer these nice slim and compact fanmade sigs instead. :)

I tried that already, if you don't put it on a website it disappears but if you do it doesn't update, and it also doesn't count for views.

hmm but they looka s if they have a huge hole in them..surely they must be close to hatching! Or do they need to develop even more even though they have a big hole in them? .3. i would be sure that they would hatch after the huge hole is made .3.

It's a rather low chance for a bite to vamp successfully. Most of the time the eggs die and sometimes even if it does work it auto-abandons the egg instead.

Would you be ok with a 2nd gen nihostrife? CB ones are very rare, so good luck. You might need to camp in the Alpines for a few hours.

Dorsal are typically purple but whenever you breed a dorsal of any color there's something like a 10% chance that it could be red. The color of either parents has nothing to do with it.

Nebula Dragons' color is random when they hatch. There is no way to guarantee a specific color unlike when breeding Striped Dragons. Your best bet is to just keep breeding/obtaining Nebulas until you collect all the things! :D

I actually already have gold tinsels, shimmers, and wyverns. Only gold I lack is the original gold dragons from early dragon cave times.

Dragoncave is a place where you own (what I like to call) a Check Scroll, and then what almost all people does in the beginning, they go to the DragonCave or Abandoned place, often shorted down to just DC or AP. Anyways, when you get there, in the cave, you'll find three different eggs, or less, you can chose one of them if not another player took it before you. Same in the AP, but around 30 eggs, you do want to update that page often, because some eggs diesappear just like that, so there you might want to be quicker.
In the beginning, you can only have 4 eggs at a time, and a certain number of hatchlings, see this page http://dragcave.net/help/egglimits
Then, if you want your eggs to hatch/hatchlings to grow, then you have to put your scroll on social networks where people can look on you scroll, pr you put it in a hatching site, my favourite is http://dragondu.mp .
