As far as crazy birds go, Madness has a pretty large selection to choose from. Birds of Paradise, for example:

Anyways, Madness would most likely have an inanimate object as his pet but if he were to have a bird as a pet I think he would have a Gooney Bird. Look them up on ytube they r so funny! I'm sure you can find their interesting history on the internet

If you look closely at the front of his behind you can see the face from the boy from home alone putting his hand on his cheeks.
(Blue dots being eyes, red vertical line between it his mouth and the orange parallels his hands)

Its behind is where it keeps all the "cannotunsee"-images of Madness, it's quite large...
