None of the hypothesis in this thread are proven. However, there is the heavily unfair advantage that Celestia has in already being a ruler, so any other suggestions don't really stand a chance in the face of her long rule. I only pick Luna because it would give another pony a chance to rule, and there really isn't any other good choice. She's the only other one with experience. It'd be boring to vote for Celestia.

Blues just needs to stop being such a buzz kill. This thread isn't super serious. The rules state not to argue politics, so don't bring real world politics into this. Our world is not run the way Equestria is.

Sticking to what I was saying. Celestia while Luna is learning more and co-ruling. When it's Tia's time to go, Luna will take over with Cadence and Shining Armor behind her. The mane six seem like teens or yound adults, and I bet we wouldn't wish as much strain as running a country on them. Derpy is simply a no. She'd probably burn the country to ashes.

Seeing as that Alicorns seem to be essentially immortal/undying, I don't see a reason for Tia to leave, unless for a little vacation or something.
