Legends of Equestria - Forum

A group of ponies wakes up on the Solar Arrow, a mysterious spaceship that bears the mark of Princess Celestia.
None of them knows how and when they boarded: everypony knows only its identity and having inexplicably passed out in the middle of their daily tasks.
Confused and frightened , the group will have to learn to cooperate if they want to go back to Equestria and find out who put them on that ship and why.
But in extreme isolation, homesick and attacked by not-always-friendly alien civilization, their will to fight will be put to an hard test, both in body... and in mind.  ovO

Here some facts about the Solar Arrow!

1) the ship proceeds on autopilot, so the characters aren't forced to intervene on the route, but, since the point of arrival is set on unknown coordinates, it may not bring them back to Equestria;
2) the ship is self-sufficient, in terms of food and breathing air, for a period of five years;
3) while presenting Princess Celestia's mark, Princess Luna's one is totally absent

Warning for every new RPer!!!

Since we arrived to a point in the storyline where the Solar Arrow is going to reunite with the rest of the fleet that saved Equestria's inhabitants, the "last memory before boarding" part of the chart is no longer needed.

From now on, every new character that may be added will necessarily have to be part of the main fleet or, if you want to be as close as possible to the action, part of the Meadowbrook's crew, which Captain is @Onyx Quill.

I hope this may have cleared up any misinformations and you're welcome to ask anything it may be still unclear before joining in. ^-^

Name: Sparkle Chord
Gender: Mare(female)
Age: 17
Species or Race: Crystal Unicorn(due to an event in her past, she does not appear crystalline, nor does she remember being a crystal unicorn)
Appearance (both a description or an image is fine): Sparkle Chord is a mare who is slightly taller than the average mare(assuming the average height of a mare is 4"0, she would be 4"2) she has a light diamond blue coat, and a medium/long length mane that is primarily sapphire blue, and has platinum highlights that curls a bit at the ends.  Her tail shares the colors of her mane, and is medium/long as well.  Her tail also curls a bit at the ends, and has 2 loose strands.  Her most standout element is her large, marigold yellow eyes, that always have a sparkle in them.  The size of this sparkle changes depending on her mood, growing in size when happy or excited, and shrinking when sad, scared or angry.  The sparkle never goes out unless she becomes depressed beyond all return.  She has 2 top eyelashes, and no bottom eyelashes.  When she is extremely excited or overjoyed, she will begin to literally sparkle.  This is because she is part crystal pony, and because of this, when she is feeling extreme happiness or excitement, she will give off some of the love and light magic of the crystal ponies in the form of sparkles.

Last memory before boarding: He had been out collecting rare ingredients from the Everfree Forest as a favor for a local alchemist, he had been told that one of these ingredients improved the consumers creativity for a limited duration, intrigued, Frost kept one of these special ingredients and consumed it before sleeping in an attempt to grasp lucid dreaming

Frost will therefore start the RP believing that he is in a dream

Well, the RP is already steadily advancing and the story has been set in motion, but, if he others roleplayers don't have anything against it, I'd really like to squeeze you in.  ^-^

On Pascalo Beach, the user would post their OC information, how they look and their personality, ect.

Then 3 of the current RPers would vote. Yes or No.

3 yes's = Sure go ahead

3 No's = nope, nadda out the trash ejector.

Yeah, but that is because they decided on that.
Also the creator of Pascalo Beach doesn't come
on anymore, so they would have no one to accept
or reject OCs.

Pretty interesting OC, it will make a very good new member. Also, we were a little short on female characters  X3

She helps with heavy storms, she might now be a Pegasus, but she can run really fast. This is one of my only ponies without a disability.

Ohhhh, space AND ponies, some of my favorite things, but combined?! I know you guys are moving ahead quite a bit, but i'm sure I can figure out a way to show up in a way that is not too clunky!

Appearance: She is covered by a very fine, pale yellow coat and a luscious light blond mane that is bundled halfway down, to prevent it from spilling to the floor completely, yet still continues as a short, braided extension. Her tail is completely braided in the same fashion as her mane's "tail". Her eyes glow a fierce, brilliant blue, which match her Aegis Pendant. She is rather large for her age, easily passable as a full grown adult, and is still growing ever so slightly. Her posture is a blend of her family's trademark guarded pose mixed with her own friendly stance. She also dons a cloak that is made of a mix of two durable hides(donated of course), that shines a gold flecked blue. (or just refer to my profile picture ^.^)
Cutie Mark: A golden crystal with three lighter gold rings around it
Occupation: Hard-labor(various), she enjoys giving workers a well earned rest whenever she can.
Last memory before boarding: The last thing she could recall was resting with her pet lion after a long day of travel.

Due to certain circumstances occurring during the RP, it has become necessary to re-open this sign-up thread: in short, the current members of the crew are setting off to retrieve four escape pods that had been launched from the Solar Arrow due to an attack from an unknown enemy.
The attack caused, for the ponies still on the ship, a collective amnesia: they don't remember why, when and how they boarded or the time spent on the Solar Arrow before the attack.
This, in short, is the synopsis.
Now, we're in need for four new characters, but whoever want to sign-up has to know some points:

- earlier on the OOC discussion created for this RP, we decided to go on with the idea of the ponies on the ship being the last survivors of Equestria, travelling to find a new planet to restart on: so, think well before you decide to join, it will be an heavyride;
- the new members will have to be well informed about the Solar Arrow's mission and his functioning, since they're supposed to be crew members who haven't lost their memory during the attack (for any information needed, feel free to PM me);
- the ship experienced several problems and malfunction, so if your OC is a mechanic or an engineer, you may need to inform yourself about it.

For any curiosity or uncertainty, please, feel free to ask.  ^-^

Oh, no, the four ponies in the escape pods weren't precedently in the RP.
The point is that the plot brought us to need four new ponies to be the old crew of the Solar Arrow that, during events preceding the beginning of the roleplay itself, escaped the main ship and are now going to be brought back.
They're fine, don't worry  ^-^

Also, even if we need ponies with specifical abilities, that doesn't mean you can't try, if you respect the roleplay's rules  ^-^

N°1 - The character I wanted to use is a human (Since they are in space, my head tell me that from far away place in galaxie/universe, Equestria exist somewhere and same goes for Earth. I've seen Pekomon things too in this RP that doesn't supposed to be found in Equestria, so in this state, my head think that they come from somewhere else and I mean this by another world/planet.)

N°2 - I will use a second character that is a robot pony made by the human.

N°3 - They will come in with their own Spaceship from far away place. Their Spaceship is smaller than the Solar Arrow for a little reason...

Well, Julien, after reading your points and thinking about it, I must agree with you: even if your character sounds pretty interesting and I admit I was feeling tempted to accept him/her, I don't think he/she has what we need.
I'm sorry for rejecting your character, but I really appreciated you trying and I hope to see you again in another RP  X3

Ability: She can make smokes around herself and she will be disguised as whoever she want, but still have the "?" mark on her flank.
She can copy/mimic the other pony. (Not perfect yet, though)
Other: A really curious robot, she's always wondering what is the meaning of life and try to know what is the feel and love. If this robot is curious, doesn't that mean she's already feeling something? (Okay, I'll say it now, she's sentimental for a robot...)

Now, I am wondering what race it could be because the original is able to switch race betwen Earth, Pegasus and Unicorn with the cooldown of 1 hour...
Maybe just let the bot stick as a Unicorn because... well yes. I actually have no idea what I am doing with this crazyness. :ajshifty:

Uh... you know what? Okay sure you want to be in this RP, but not because I am in.

And if you get accepted, I hope you won't ruin everything in this RP like: Random Alien appears in ship with no reason, giant enemy on the ship and destroys it, or anything crazy in your mind! I don't want any of this things that pop in your head in this RP. You already made a big mistake in "Cyberville", "STRANDED" and whatsover RP (especially in "Spa Buffed RP", the RP master is unhappy for that).

So PLEASE, don't do that crazy thing again. (If your character do the incareful or anything in both those RPs and I guess you'll do this again here, ok I'll let it pass. BUT limite those random enemies pop up! Stryder already have a hard time to keep up with you!)

I know that I delayed my answer for a while, but I admit that Julien's venting made me pause to think.
Now, I never roleplayed with Misty, so I never experienced what you guys are worried about, so I've gone to see the RPs Julien hinted about to get an idea. Now, I see what you were worried about.
Misty, I'd like to accept you, but I need you to promise me to discuss major plot-twists in the OOC discussion before making them happen: we took a defined direction with this story and we all intend to proceed that way.

Marble Star's abilities: she's able to turn her hooves into a paper blade, paper hammer or whatever things she can do with her hooves. She can also make paper craft like crafting a paper sword, paper shurikens which are harder than a rock. (and I don't know what she can do else.)

Hello to everypony in the forum, here ScarletInk! :D
The plot moved forward and the crew members of the Solar Arrow discovered that it exist an entire fleet of spaceships inhabited by the destroyed Equestria's pony -and others- kind.

So, while they'll be occupied with trying to get back to the main fleet, a new chance arises for new characters to join in to have their own "Lost in Space" adventures and, because of this, this sign-up is opening up for the third time!
What any new member has to know to join in is this: after Equestria got destroyed by a cataclysm caused by a terrible war, a space fleet saved its population and started a journey to find a new planet suitable for them all to live on, but, one day, the Solar Arrow and the Executor got both attacked and separated from the main fleet.
Great part of the crew managed to escape using the escape pods - not counting, obviously, those who have been part of the RP until now.

So, any new character joining in can be:
- a crew member of one of the ships belonging to the main fleet;
- a crew member of the Solar Arrow that was in one of the escape pods and got saved by the main fleet;
- a crew member of the main fleet who is searching for the Executor and the Solar Arrow.

Aside from this, the same rules already established for this RP still apply.

Onyx has, by mix of accident and tragedy,been thrust into a position of leadership in the fleet. As acting Captain of the Meadowbrook, a well-armed medium cruiser, he is conducting a long search for the Solar Arrow. It has been several months, but they managed to recover a number of escape pods from the Arrow.

 Onyx is fiercely committed to the mission: the survival of the pony race. To that end, he is determined to find the Arrow. It could be their best hope of survival.

 After most of the Meadowbrook's officers were incapacitated in an attack by an insane crew member, Onyx became the leader of his ship, and responsible for nearly 400 lives. So far, he has proven up to the task...

Violet will be on one of the escape pods.

well, for starters you might want to fill out the sign up sheet ^^;

other than that, i'm pretty sure Onyx's ship is still docked on the Solar Arrow (our ship), so you could probably just walk in from the other ship xD i'd recommend checking with Scarlet and Onyx on that though ^^;

After you post your sign up, you can have Night join us on the Arrow. She can be part of the Meadowbrook's crew, or maybe a passenger that they rescued from the escape pods. Either way works.

He has abnormally over-sized wings, which allow him to achieve great speed at the cost of maneuverability during flight.
Cutie Mark: Yellow lighting emitting from a thunder cloud. He has the ability to fly even in the most dangerous kinds of weather.
Occupation: Pilot. Typically a team leader, though the current situation at hand forces him to go alone.

Recent Backstory: Thunder Jet was ordered to be sent to the Solar Arrow to provide immediate defense to the Solar Arrow and her crew and to ensure the safe return of the ship back to the main fleet. He will do whatever it takes to finish the mission successfully, although there appears to be ulterior motives behind his orders...

Nothing wrong with your application, though I would suggest you to speak with Onyx Quill about maybe being a member of his crew that still didn't get to speak: we decided that every new character getting introduced may be a member of the main fleet (though that still didn't happen) or part of the Meadowbrook's crew.

But if you'd prefer to not be "affiliated" to either of them, I'm sure we can still work around it.

In terms of Thunder Jet, I was planning on him being part of the main fleet but received orders to transfer to the Solar Arrow to ensure it's safe return (seemly). He was also ordered to keep his mouth shut on current ongoing events in the main fleet due to security and protocol reasons. However, him flying alone all the way from the main fleet does seem far-fetched now that I reflect on it (am I getting a sense of deja vu?).

I can easily have him be on-board the Meadowbrook as a fighter pilot so he can be both affiliated by the main fleet and by the Meadowbrook (as a part of her crew). So let's have him be stationed on the cruiser, as long as that is alright with everyone

That blew my mind. The déjà vu is Nameless going alone to the Executor and then we never heard any news about him.
