Even though I think these polls about best pony should be categorized... Luna is best princess, Rarity is best Mane 6 and Lyra is best background pony. No way to choose between them.

...One moment... *goes and has one more look at the polls* As far as I know, Pinkie, Twi, and Rainbow all are at the top at 15% and Celestia has yet to have any more than Bon Bon. *stops for a moment* Come to think of it. We don't see Celestia at all in most of the MLP FiM episodes. As far as know. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie, esspecially, all get screen time and either look godly, epic, or just funny. ...Yeah, I am not really an analyst but I find truth in the words and pixels. Nit-picks come to me when I try to find truth, or if it is about my character that I made...

 I agree. I think the main reason those three are chosen is the fact that guys will be guys, and instinctively go for the athletic one, or  everypony, the funny one, or the main character. using that logic of the guys going to the relatable ones, spike should be more popular with guys, so I dunno.
