I broke my hairdresser's heart yesterday when I went in and got a buzz cut. Man, short hair is SO easy to maintain. No combing, no drying, no straightening, takes 2 seconds to wash...

I've had long hair since I was 12 so I forgot how easy it is not having to manage hair. Saves me time in the morning.

Reminds me of Guitar Brony...

Oh my GOD guy, I don't believe it. I decided to submit my application to the US army 2 weeks ago, and I actually got in!

I thought for sure my history of depression would DQ me on the spot and....well, I was kind of right. However, they allowed me a chance to get a waiver if I could prove that I was off the meds and no longer had any problems with depression. I got a written explanation from my doctor and I got a waiver!

I blew the ASVAB out of the water, qualifying me for any MOS. By God, I might just be smart enough to be a 25B after all!

Well, I've got a lot of paperwork and bureaucratic stuff to get through until then. I'll have plenty of time to mentally and physically prepare.

*brohoof* I'm sure you'll do us all proud out there. Wherever "There" may end up being. Congrats, bro.

All these people dumping cold water on themselves for Facebook likes without donating any money.
I bet they don't even know why they're doing it.

this. But, i mean, I'm gonna be doing it, and not donating. But it's not that I'm not donating, as much as not YET. I'm just broke right now, so I'll do the ice bucket part, and donate once i get back into a normal amount of income at work.

But yeah. I usually don't like complaining about things like this, but it's getting silly now. And the sad part is, some of the most ACTUALLY impactful ones are the celebrity ones, because they ARE donating.

I guess its more of an issue with the facebook crowd, and not facebook, or the challenge itself, but dear sweet Celestia and Luna above...

Also, my favorite was the singer from Barenaked Ladies.

Greg Cipes (VA for Beast Boy, Kevin Levin, most recent Michelangelo, etc) Tweeted my video of me covering his band's song, "Fade Away"  :D

I'm fangirling SUPER hard right now, and so i couldn't help but drop this here.  ovO

Let's do this *cracks knuckles*

Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Legend of Korra (best show ever, btw *hides*)
Star Trek (Picard > Kirk, but that's just me)
Star Wars
I'm still sorta into Pokemon
FALLOUT (not really a fandom, but I'm a MAJOR fan)
Metal Gear (same as above)
I'm part of a Handbell Ringers Guild, if that counts. not a thing of fiction, but it sure as sugar FEELS like a fandom

I can't think of anything else that I'd consider being in a "fandom" as it were...

Im the kind who'll try to keel up with the episodes as best as I can. Outside of that, I'm more of an "artsy" type. I can't draw, and don't go poring through the fan art, but I do appreciate the artists. I stick more to the music and writing side of things. I've been a musician/performer for most of mg life, and somusic, especially the "real instrument" stuff in the ffandom attracts me greatly. I also enjoy covering/playing along with the songs. There's a sort of zen for me when playing. Though, I won't say the electronic stuff isn't cool, as well. From the writing side of things, I am an avid reader of fan fiction, and am trying to develop my own writing skills/voice, as I currently am pursuing a degree in the liberal arts.

Realized that growing my hair out (I usually keep it nearly clean-shaven when I cut it) gives me Romulan hair. XP Think I might grease it down and go for the full look. The Federation might not like it, though...

It's my 21st birthday. :D I can hardly believe it!

Welcome to the club. Cheers. I'd raise my glass to you, but this is the interwebz, so I'll just raise a toast in spirit. (Still with the glass, though.  ;) )

Hmm... tough one. Always been a fan of the lever. Thick and thin. Though, more recently i'm finding myself taking a liking to the inclined plane... I'd throw in the wheel, but let's be real about this. EVERYONE likes the wheel. almost pointless to bring it up at all.

EDIT: got a censored version. I tend to forget those kind of things. sorry.

Being as I have several events I'm going to, I have several costumes. This is the one I'm really hoping to FINALLY get done for this year. Trying to be the Courier from Fallout: New Vegas (though i'm taking some creative liberties with the accessories.) still WIP, though, but I'm hoping to be able to finish it. I love Fallout too much to not let that happen. Other than that, I'll be rocking an older, but reworked Riddler outfit i did a few years back, and possibly my TF2 Engineer costume (if i can get new goggles and fix the helmet.)

When a true sequel to a console game is put on a portable system. Example, I LOVE Valkyria chronicles,  but the limitations of the PSP ruined the sequel for me.

Spin-offs or side games are a different story. I mean TRUE sequels.
