Hello everypony!
I'm RF941, I'm from Italy and I discovered this game project some months ago, during the 24 hours livestream (April 2012, I think). What impressed me most was the effort of the developers to ensure bronies playing a quality game. I decided to register to this forum because i want to know more about this upcoming game; plus, my interest on the project increased (or better, was "awakened") by the last Pre-Alpha Update video (August 2012). I believe in this project, and I'll be sure that it will be the best pony MMO.
Now, let me show you how I became a brony: It was the 7th November 2011, Monday. I was having breakfast, before going to school. Usually I don't turn on the television, but on that day I did it. I tuned on a channel called "Italia 1", that usually airs nice cartoons. On 6:50 started the opening theme (yes, in Italy the openings are always shifted on the start...). A first I thought: "Also they've done cartoons of this thing?", but, --never judge a book by its cover-- I stay tuned and watched the episode, the first part of the last episode of the first season (they also slice episodes T_T). I enjoyed "At the gala song", and it stayed in my mind all the day. But, I don't know how, the other days I forgot to continue watching the cartoon. But, until a big event upset the whole italian territory: on February 2012, there was a big series of snowfall, that paralyzed the entire state. Most schools closed, so I stayed stuck (not really stuck, but...) into home for two weeks. During this period, I surfed the net more usually than normal, and I remembered that I enjoyed a cartoon about ponies, so YouTube did the rest... .
I still have no idea because i love the show, matbe for the nice animation, the cuteness of the characters, or the "love and tolerance" message that transmits.
And, for last, I talk about me: I'm a very shy and quiet guy. For me, formulating a simple phrase is very difficult, especially when I write in English, so I apologize if sometimes you don't understand what I write, but thanks to Google translator I can easily surpass this lack. I'm very interested on scientific subjects, such Physics and Biology. Also I like watching cartoons, I like MLP(obviously... *facehoof*), Sidekick, The Fairly OddParents, and Phineas and Ferb. Lately, I discovered programming. Now I'm following an online training about OOP using C#. Maybe a day will join the team as a programmer? Nopony knows it... .
