You left out the best "short" that did come from Rainbow Rocks (well the only thing I really loved about the entire Equestria Girls)

I never liked the fact that FiM and EG has no story lines that cross (well yet anyway, plus don't get me started on why they made the movies in the first place  ).

The movie series of EG had so many plot devices deliberately created rather than arising naturally or spontaneously  . So many plot holes never really explained, they just happen and no idea why, no rhyme or reason. Just slapped in your face like a PB and J sandwich that just seems to stick it all together... But cover up so much.

Plus I can't even understand why Twilight would not even take her friends to the other side?  They do EVERYTHING together as a team, not really showing the whole "friendship is magic" meaning... Oh that's right... They don't tie the 2 series together anyway, so why not throw out the real meaning of MLP? 
Also why do I feel the whole "friendship is magic" concept is tossed out in the movies? It's weird. 

Sunset Shimmer is never seen in FiM and yet she has a huge story and background just in the movies and still... No story line ties to FiM series? I think Lync can agree with me on this, Sunset Shimmer needs to have a better background with FiM... Just to have her exclusive to just the EG movie series is kinda ridiculous. They go over all the enemies and important past pony's if FiM but just so happen to leave out Princess Celestia understudy? (Celestia has been around for thousands of years yet we only now know of another who studied under her wing other then Twilight just for the movies?!?  )

But is it late for them to even develop her story in FiM Season 5? And if not, it will have to be a very good storyline, not just tossed in your face randomness plot twist that you just have to accept because they did it (like walk through the mirror and oh look, there is Sunset Shimmer as if we knew about her all along).
Or bring her back to help out vs a enemy or something, that would just be to hard to take in and understand by any standard.

Overall if I just treat it as a standalone movie, its okay. I'm just not into pony's gone humans though.
If I wanted drama Human high school stories, I would have gotten into Monsters High or Ever After High. And that's NEVER going to happen.

i didn't know she had "old friends" and i don't know about you but i would still be fearful of Celestia's "Punishment" all in all i can only see her going to Equestria for awhile here and there and possibly tag teaming with Twilight in certain matters

Well we all know what happened to Luna, with a name like Sunset Shimmer... I don't think she could take the heat ... If ya get my meaning

Remember Babs and Apple Bloom was so happy to see each other again during the apple family reunion it made it seem like they rarely saw each other cause of there distance and what not my guess is Babs would have to get the other 2 Blank Flanks Interested in it and they will have to wait awhile before going back to ponyville for the Regional Approval
(all though Babs Seed did say they would have to see each other before then so maybe that was a hint to this )

Agreed. It would be nice to see a CMC 6 and have them help the mane 6. Heck have Discord tag along... Would love to see his face when they go all cute and excited.

i can't see Mlp Implementing too much "Lovey Dovey" stuff but that sounds awesome and it gave me another idea but instead Tirek would be Chrysalis's boss and she would Sneak around Equestria Gathering up whatever Tirek needs for his plans

Its not that kind of love, evil love. They only "love" the fact that together they would be unstopable. She would give him a slight rub and Tirek would be discusted but tolorate it for one goal... Take over Equistria.

I could not see them love like pony love

Shes Trixie, if anything shes Disacord without the crazy chaos magic, just the "I can do anything better then you" magic till it frizzles in her hoove.

She could deface the mane 6 or just do what Trixie does best... Challenge Twilight Sparkle again, think shes winning, gets fooled and back to old Trixie... Or she learns from her mistakes, friends the mane 6. Gets them to trust her and then back stabs them for the win

Shes the head of CMC Manehattan. Very possible, and she can come back and visit the CMC of Ponyville to hold a Regional meeting to approve it?

But I have one idea... Tirek and Chrysalis fall in love and become the most powerful enemys in all of equestria.
I mean they both learned saomething from there defeat... Twilight showed Tirek how powerful the magic of friendship is. And Caydance showed how powerful love is to Chrysalis. It could happen

Lies, just finished watching it... (its all you and wingedpinapple's fault )

I never watched the entire movie, did not expect that.

I still think the Equestria Girls series and FiM series have nonthing in common. Theres no way they can tie them together without to many questions and broken added in filler just to force them together.

But I found a new respect for the movie after watching them both back to back.

Sounds good to me.

Pony version Sunset Shimmer is ok, but in order to keep the series of FiM... They could not tie in the Equestria Girls series without epic failure and to many story arc questions...

(in the name of Celestia why is there a pony and girl version of all main and some side characters and only 1 Twilight and 1 Sunset?  )

did you read the part where i said "in the end she really earned the power she got but the only reason she could not keep that "exact" power is cause "good" guys have to win" i already mentioned she was "taken down" and you don't have to tell me about the "money making schemes" thats practically all over the internet so your basically stating the obvious

Did you read the part where Equestria girls don't count 

And yes it is obvious about the money making schemes, but its still a valid point.

Back on topic though, I wonder if the mane 6 will turn into the friendship police of equestria

Sunset Shimmer had to gain her power trough Expertly Executed plans before she could use it to try and over power everybody else she didn't start out "Super Powerful"

Equestria Girls don't count. I mean the movies have no ties to the MLP:FiM series at all. Sunset Shimmer is exclusive to only Equestria Girls and the comics.

Plus she was also taken down my the mane 6.

(not trying to be rude but the whole Equestria Girls was just to have a excuse to sell dolls because the hasbro pony line was slipping in sales and barbie/monster high was higher sales as dolls vs pony's)

I don't think they CAN get C&D'd. Worse thing that can happen is maybe changing the name of the game, but I'm not sure anyone can copyright "Equestria".

All it takes is a boat load of money and a super greedy lawyer and even you can be copyright banned.

The only way to stay out of the way of copyright lawsuit is to stay free and only accept donations. Once the LoE team charges anything to play, Hasbro will shut it down quick.

Unless the LoE team pays like a 40% royality charge for it then Hasbro gets paid and we get real MLP content.

I could see Hasbro stealing LoE for there own greed.
