the old one was sorta outdated so i decided to redo it.
some things have been updated again so i'm gonna edit this to be accurate.
warning! some of these characters are shared with a friend, thou she was the one that designed them, meaning i will be less likely to use these in rps.

Strenght: Jade is a rather agile pony with a strong stability and balance. She has an average speed and always wears goggles to protect her eyes when flying. Because of her constant flying, she has a rather high stamina for flying.
Weakness: because she doesn't walk often, she isn't as fast at walking than flying and gets exhausted easily.
Current home: Cloudsdale.
Backstory: while Jade was young, she often weared sunglasses or cover her left eye with a bandage to hide her red eye because she felt ashamed of it. during her time on flight school, there was a group of bullies who often picked on the pegasi who were still unable to fly, the main one being a mare named Sonic Prisma. one of the main targets was a young mare (name will be added) who was still unable to fly and had trouble making friends because of her shyness. after a while, this mare became so upset from the bullying, she decided to take away the one thing that made Prisma think that she was better than the other ponies, her wings. when the day came, the filly sneaked a knife to her school and was ready to take out her anger on Prisma. most fillies and colts were either to afraid to interfere or thought Prisma deserved it. Jade however, also bullied for her different coloured eyes, still stood inbetween them and tried to talk the classmate out of doing something she will regret later. eventually, Jade was able to talk the classmate out of it and was able to take away the knife, before the filly cried her eyes out infront of her. this caused Jade to gain her talent mark. after the teachers finally came, the filly was send to a psychiatrist and the bully was lectured by the teachers of the school and eventually even by the Princess of Friendship. after this, Sonic Prisma tried to change her ways and make up with everypony she bullied in the past(more will be added later)

hm, usually the name of a pony has something to do with their special talent. names don't have to be as obvious as Cutiemarks but if you look, you will notice a link.
if i look at the name River Dream, one of the first things that comes to mind is something that has to do with water. maybe she could have a talent for sailing on rivers?
for the dream part, maybe her colour scheme can have these dream-like colours. pony names occasianly have something to do with a ponies look aswell, like Pinkie Pie who's pink, Rainbow Dash who has rainbow hair and possibly Twilight Sparkle who has dark, twilight-like colours.
