//Rules: Unicorn OCs only, no OP'd OCs, all forum rules apply, all elemental spell are to be casted only at the training dummies, not at other characters, all OCs that enroll must be age 6 or older and have some degree of control of their magic, this is a school and OC Dark Hooves will teach the students to fully control their magic, if some OCs already have full control of their magic, that is fine, but for the sake of the RP, the OCs can still be learning to control their magic

Dark Hooves has mastered elemental magics and feels he is ready to give his knowledge to the next generation of unicorns. He posts up flyers around Ponyville giving the location of where he is holding the classes at. He eagerly awaits for the students to arrive at the park. He asks for no money, he is doing this to help make pony kind more resilient, more specifically the unicorns.

[Peace Keeper]

Peacemaker arrives at the park reading the flyer with his little brother.

Ok and this is the place.

*Turns to Dark* Are you Dark Hooves?

[Roots]

Roots looks down at the flyer in his hoof and reads it again before looking ahead once more.

"This looks to be the place... I hope I will learn more here," he quietly says to himself before proceeding to approach the two ponies that were already there.

[Dark Hooves]

Yes, I am Dark Hooves. Welcome to elemental magic 101. Let's start with how well you can control your magic.

[Peace Keeper]

Control magic? like levitating things or do like a spell?

[Dark Hooves]

I mean your mana, how well can you channel it? I also want to see which nature your mana is.

[Peace Keeper]

(Channel mana. I think I should just show him how much magic I can do)

Peacemaker looks around to see what to levitate. He finds a medium boulder near where he stands.
He levitates the boulder with some struggle at a height just above his head and lets it down, giving a 'phew'.

[Roots]

Roots reaches the two of them just as the red Unicorn lowers the boulder nearby.

"Hello there, I'm not late to the class am I?" he asks. "This is the right place right? Is there a... uh... Is somepony known as Dark Hooves here?"

A dark colt with red and yellow hair is dropped off by his parents. He walks up to the school slowly and grudgingly, like he would rather be somewhere else.

[Dark Hooves]

Excellent, but it isn't just about brute strength. You have to find balance between focus and strength. This is magic's true power. He sees another dropped off by his parents and another ask for Dark Hooves. Welcome to Elemental Magic 101, both of you. I am Dark Hooves, nice to meet you.

The dark colt replies, "Hi.", but never raises his eyes from the ground.
((Focus and strength? but Professor Xavier said it was Joy and Anger ))

[Dark Hooves]

Why so glum?

Match remains silent.

[Dark Hooves]

What is the matter? He reaches out to him.

[annosrules]

Match keeps his face downcast and replies,"Can we just get this over with?"

[Roots]

Roots sighs in relief, glad that he is at the right place and looks at Dark Hooves.

"So you're the one who advertised the class. I am known as Roots. I for one can't wait to see what you'll be teaching us."

[Dark Hooves]

Yes I am. I think you'll enjoy my class a lot, both of you once we start learning.

Match sighs and waits for further instruction.

[Roots]

Roots notices the newcomer sighing and turns to face him.

"Say... I didn't catch your name when you arrived. I know I just said mine, but who are you? Since we'll be in the same class and all."

Roots extends a hoof towards the dark grey Unicorn as a friendly gesture.

Match looks Roots in the eyes and says, "I'm Match.", his expression removing all doubt of his disposition towards being at the school.
