Starting quests and tutorials

I have three characters. I'm having issues with all three but I want to focus on two for now. The two I am having issues with can't complete tasks given to them. One of the characters is a pegasus and she needs to fly through these cloud hoops. She does and then the instructor is like "go ahead when you're ready." I JUST FLEW THROUGH THEM! Same with my unicorn character. She is told to teleport to a light pole and she does but the same thing happens. The game doesnt recognize my awesome teleportation or flying skills.
