And it tells you what everything is and what stuff can be used for and tells you the recipes for stuff. I had thought that it would be more like Minecraft, where you have to know the recipes or something. And I thought they'd have a mouse cursor in the inventory menu that you control with the analogue stick, like some PS2 games had.

You can turn off the tool tips and info about blocks in the option menu

Well, I started trying to build a village in some jungle trees. Only problem is, getting creative enough to connect the buildings all together. That, and dealing with the slight lag I get any time I play Minecraft.

I attacked a zombie pigman in the xbox 360 version and 20 of them swarmed right on top of me

That's what I did and when I hit one, another would just take its place

Anyways, I just installed a mod that allows me to duel-wield. Hopes that it doesn't make my game black-screen and make me waste a few hours figuring it out like every other mod I've ever gotten.

Tobuscus has that mod. You can dye the knight armor. Though, the poor fool hasn't figured out that redstone dust isn't for dyeing.

[Edit]: I still can't believe there are people who still keep asking if the other characters in Yogscast's Shadow of Israphel series (that they're making using Minecraft) are NPCs. No. They're not NPCs. No Minecraft mod has sophisticated enough NPCs with clever enough AI to be completely and perfectly interactive to every single thing you do.
