When Darkness Falls (Sign-up RP)

The party finally made it against the wolfs, but they barely had time to rest. That jubjub sound was close enough, and kept ringing inside Tian's ears. She looked up with worry all over her face, while backing off to where the party was gathering.

"The Jubjub is back, guys, whe must be ready. Luckly we can hit it hard enough so it back off again and learn this time not to mess with us. And hopefully not the contrary" - Tian said, already in her fighting stance.

Bleyd have located the jub jub use optical camouflage , hides in the shadows. and wait

"Eh, thanks Cloudy. I underestimated just how exhausting wielding a sword is. I'm fine, not a scratch." He said and moved in back with the group. Everypony seemed together again, except for one. "He better NOT be going for that bird alone. Then again, maybe he should."

Majame sighed and equipped his bow again. "The party just never ends, does it?" He said, chuckled and scouted the air for any signs of the Jubjub bird.

Rhyme walked over to the pile of wolves in front of him and picked through the rubble to see what he could find. "I'd rather hope Jubjub stays asleep,"he said quietly.

Clouded Mind continued to set up her trap. "Alright, but if you want to get em' grab them quickly. I've already got my arrows though, and it'd be faster to just use them..." the mare replied as she fastened the trap to the ground. She pulled out her bow, staying close to Majem. "Do you want to get closer to glimmer...?" she asked. He looked exhausted and like he was having trouble standing.

Noy helps the party collect the LAf, looking up at the ceiling every so often. [glow=black,2,300]"you think it's going to show it's self again?"[/glow] he stated looking concerned.  He also, glanced over at the party members, who were too startled by the ambush to participate. [glow=black,2,300]"I'm going help make a log for loot, and maybe usefulness too.  Would be a waste to give valuable resources to ponies who can't utilize them...speaking of which. Why did everypony focus defensive support on the only defender?  She could only distract maybe half the wolves, tops, from her position.  We kind of left the other half exposed to an onslaught of attacks."[/glow] He then looked at nameless, [glow=black,2,300]"also... It would be wise not to flee unless moving as a group...this place isn't really forgiving."[/glow]

Leafa sheaths her blades and looks around at the mess of things from the ambush then towards Noy
"It seemed the best strategy to get the ranged fighters out of direct combat, though there attention was not so easy to divert, its why I focused on the ones surrounding Majem, As for the matter of that creature I suspect if we see it, or it sees us it will attack, we should ether move or create a counter measure, so it doesn't get an upper hand, like these last lot did "

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Just not so used to swordfighting. Ugh, I better stick with the bow from now on." He said to Cloudy, then walked over to Noy to answer his question. "Made sure nopony would get attacked by my wolves. Took 'em out as fast as I could to lessen the burden on the party's shoulder. Well, thanks to Leafa, too, though I can defend myself during combat."

He sighs, looking up into the air again, then continues. "As for the bird, I suggest we stay put and wait for it. Cloudy can put up some traps and Range could place some of those barriers again. Playing the defense is safer in my opinion, but, I guess it's up to you guys."

[glow=black,2,300]"Oh I was referring to Stanzi and Rhyme, only giving defensive support to copper, when the whole party needed it... But anyway, do we really have the time to sit here and wait for the JubJub, are we not still close to the Gravel Wolves's gravel pit?"[/glow]

As the party sat around and talked, a looming shadow appeared overhead, like a shadow within a shadow, so dark it was.

With a flap of wings the size of towns, the Jubjub was upon them!  It was inducting its Sonic Wave.

The group has a turn to Interrupt its induction.

((Jubjub deals 40% outgoing damage and takes 5% incoming damage normally from each hit.  Fellowship Maneuvers deal 20% damage to it, special attacks can deal 10% damage.  Jubjub will drop equivalent of ~10000 LAf total, or somewhere around that, give or take a power of ten.))

"Oh, hay." Majem said worried as he looked upon the great Jubjub bird. It's size alone frightened him, but it was about to attack, too! The party had to do something or it would surely be defeated easily. "No more time to sit and wait, Noy. It's go time!"

Majem retrieved one of the poison glands from his inventory and applied it to an arrow of his after which he fired the piercing shot. He didn't know just how effective that would be, but anything that could be done to improve outgoing damage was useful.

Crimson walks up a few inches and whistles. "That's one big bird... Ey Price, Let's aim for it's wings, alright? Might make things easier on us if we take out at least one of them."

"How do you always know what to do before battling on?" Price asked, Quite curious.

"I had to study animals, hundreds of them. More specifically ones the size of THAT thin- ya know, Let's finish this up when we're not going to be pecked alive by a giant bird. Now, It's go time!" Crimson said, planting both swords in the ground and uses a transmutation. "Geeeet ready!" Price did so and he was launched into the air again, although, instead of being released, he was actually being guided by Crimson's wild movements and he gathered mana all while doing that. Increased impact at the cost of precision, but it might work if he's lucky. For Price, on the other hoof, The impact might be a little much for him as well.

Range, just plain and simple, commands her golem to strike the Jubjub head-on, not knowing the dangers of what comes with using the golem body.

A thought shot thru Noy's mind, He quickly Shouted [glow=Black,2,300]"Hey, Staff Users; cast Test Of Will together on JubJub!  Let's knock it from the sky!"[/glow] He proceeded to cast [Test of Will] on JubJub, in hopes the party would respond and do the same.

Coppershine locked her eyes on to the hulking shadow. Until it landed, she wasn't sure how much help she would be, as she had no way of attacking at range. She stalked forward, pacing in front of the party like a nervous dog, her gaze never leaving the JubJub. Her mind whirred with all she could think of that might help them.

Bird...hollow bones...

That thing was huge, but still able to fly, so it had to have hollow bones, even if it wasn't quite a bird per say. Anything with that much volume had to shed its mass somewhere to have the thrust to keep itself up. If they could get it to land, or better yet, fall, it might be crushed under its own weight, or at least hindered. She knew little solid fact about the JubJub bird, and it might have been a long shot, but it was good enough to try.

"Yes! Go for the wings! Knock it down! If it falls, it might not be able to support its own weight." She chewed her lip. In the meantime, we've got to keep it quiet. There was no way she could stun it from the ground. Her eyes fell to her shield, she could try to throw it, but her chances of getting it back were slim. Her ears spasmed as she heard it prepare one of its sound attacks. She would have to wait, ready to defend the party from incoming attacks, and hope she was given an opportunity to fight it on the ground.

"Focus on its wings and diverting attacks, if that thing hits us, its going to be a lot worse than some gravel scratches" Leafa uses her speed and flys towards the left wing drawing one of her blades and slicing it right on the top surface of its wing

Range started to cast her Testing Will spell in co-operation with Noy.

Tian also wasn't a ranged type fighter, so she needed some help. - Somepony get me up there! - She said for the party while looking for the surroundings to see if there was any building she could climb up to that height. She was strong, agile and had good balance, so even if there were just wreckage she could still make it.
