Hey,
To me it actually sounds like you're bored. When you got nothing to do, you get depressed. The more you have nothing to do, the more you think and overthink stuff, the more depressed you get.
I for one, don't care about presents anymore. I'm old though, making my own income, so it's maybe a different story here but still. It's material things. They will break eventually, you will never miss them etc. But yes, the feeling of loosing a cat. I remember a cat I had on the farm where I grew up. She was one might fine predator. We had zero mice on the farm and it was a big place!
She was very social with the people there, always loved to interact with you... man I miss that kitty cat.
What I would recommend you to do is actually to talk with your friends! You don't have to meet them, why not play a online game? Hmm... TF2? Minecraft? It's a bunch of fun and free games on Steam you can play with your friends. Just download and play away!

Ahh the first feeling of moving out 
It's lovely to be honest and yeah... my flat isn't soundproof at all. I can hear the people on the third floor watching TV time to time and It's two stories above me!

Legends of Equestria presents our 24 hour event, live! We will once again create, design and write live for 24 hours! Where you, as the public, can see how we create our content for the game!
What will you see during this 24 hour event? Progress on Canterlot, the capital city of Equestria! A great deal has been planned!
You'll also get to interact with the staff, ask us questions during several Q/A sessions, and chat with your fellow fans!
The event starts the 4th of January, 8pm EST and ends 24 hours later!

Unnecessary fact. Those two "adults" are called Douglas and Adams. Together their name become Douglas Adams. He wrote "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and the 42 is an obvious reference to that

Believe it or not. You can actually get your assignments out form that faultyharddrive by putting it in the freezer over night, take it out and plug it in to a USB reader. I recommend a computer that runs linux for this operation.

Maybe your stomach just has problems with semi-raw meat.

It happens to me when I use way to much power. Basically you boil the steak.

I once reheated a lasanga I made in the microwave. All of a sudden I hear a loud pop noise and the whole inside of the microwave is covered in lasagna. I still to this day haven't figured out how it happened but my guess is some airpocket.
