I'm not a gamer but I see people writing in abbreviations and I don't know what their talking about. For example, what does PvP stand for? I already learned that Tf2 means "Team fortress 2."

Some people say player versus everything but is most/ some cases it doesn't involve PvP.

PvM = Player versus Monster/Mob (NPCs)
PvE = Player vs Environment
rekt = ingloriously defeated with a metaphorical mopping motion
Shrekt = Inglorious defeated with a metaphorical mopping motion with a smell of onions
