Sorry if I'm mistaken, but the peeps at Legends of Equestria are starting it at a different timezone from others, depending on their location. For instance, it could start at 3 am for someone, or midnight for another. For me, it's about 8-9 pm ish.

So, it'll be ready at 12 AM Friday Morning EST?

Unless something changes, mods are estimating downloads will be up at 11:50pm EST time.  Servers go live 11 minutes after that at 12:01am EST, or suppose to anyway.  If they are still having bugs to fix, there might be a delay in server launch time from what I've heard.  But they're not announcing anything official yet, cause they're not sure themselves.

We'll just have to play the waiting game for another hour or two and see what happens.  I don't think they want to make any real "official" announcements until they(the ones hosting this), know the facts themselves.  Must be serious if they've delayed releasing the download by one whole day, since the download was suppose to be available yesterday at about this time.

Patience is a virtue.  The best come to those who wait.  Of course, I can understand in this situation, that can be hard to do.

Well, that's ridiculous. How can I download the game when I'm sleeping at 3 AM in the morning. I won't be able to download it until 9 that morning!!! This is so confusing to me.

I'm patient but I just want to know if I can download the game after servers are on. Or is it too late by then?

Well, I guess it's because they're having problems with the servers. Technical difficulties I guess? The game is pretty advanced so I can imagine flaws in it. After all, if they're weren't, the game would already be officially released. But that will never happen in the next 50 years.
