Quote from: Nightshade Star on 2018 Feb 24, 12:12:37(Help. I need something to say.)

I pulled back for a second, considering what choices I have. I could try to explain to him what a crush is, but I think he gets the point? He looks very fond of Miru. I looked back at Miru, who's probably trying to imitate "Zacharie." He's probably honored to have that mask on him, I thought, kind of unaware that the griffin next to me is telepathic. It's a free country, I didn't really worry that much about it.

Colere shuffled on his seat a bit, feathers gently puffing up. He peaked out of his wings and eyed the situation at hand. The Merchant must be feeling good today, if he's letting someone wear his mask. "He should be," mumbled Colere. "From past experience with Zach, he does not take off his mask often. It is near and dear to him, from what I have picked up." Colere felt a bit calmer, but he pulled his head back under his wings once more. He was just fond of the dark, somewhat. "I would be a tad honored as well to wear it, though I shan't get too caught up in emotions, or at least the 'touching' ones. They simply get in the way." He moved his wing so she could see the smirk on his face, implying he had just taken a jab at her and wanted her to know it. "But you would know that, wouldn't you?"

A new shop has opened, seemingly out of nowhere. An almost grey-ish, pastel green was painted onto the building, the other parts being a creamy brown. Between the door to the building, were two rather large windows. Plants and flowers were planted in front. On the inside, the same colour scheme kept up. Tables of various sizes were set up, comfy chairs accompanying them. One corner had low tables set up, as the chairs seemed to be soft coloured bean bags. Plants hung from the roof, and were even set up on tables. There were a lot of flowers, and vine like plants. At the counter, there was a display for pastries, a few sample plants, a strawberry plant next to the cash register, and a menu overhead. The menu consisted of warm drinks (including different types of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and others), pastries (such as doughnuts, fritters, and other related things), and food (most of which being either breakfast items, or items for consumption at any time). Behind the counter was a display of all the available plants, many being flowers, small fruit plants, and plants that really purify air. They were all labeled and everything.

Name: Fleur Pure

Species: Appears to be a Unicorn with a tail

Personality: Seems to change between grumpy and happy.

Appearance:
They appear to be between a female and a male, but sounds like a female. They will usually go by either male or female, but most address them as female, so they go by that most of the time. She has a light, grey like green coat. Her hair falls downwards, sometimes spiking in places. It also tends to be very wavy. She has a tail that follows behind her like a game of snake, though it's pretty subtle. She has a blue prosthetic, which she has taken the time to plant a few flowers and plants in. Many different types of flowers sprout out of holes, vines wrapping around the leg. Due to the fake leg, she has an odd walk, but it gets her around. She does not appear to have a cutie mark, but her work clothes hide it.

Misc: Her aura around her horn looks like a flower, the type of flower changing with the spell, and the colour with how strong it is. Spells usually cause a "vine" to come out and touch the item or being it is being used on (though not all). When it is on many items, it will turn into "roots". Though, this is mostly on the levitation spell that these occur.  She is not who she says she is.

Fleur walked up to her shop, the sun not even up yet, pulling out a key, unlocking the door and going in. She walked over to her counter, flipping a sign on the door from saying "closed" to "open". She levitated her work clothes over to her, and put them on. Going into the back, she put a hair net on and got a watering can, filling it up. She did general maintenance, watering and moving plants, cleaning tables and floors, checking stock, and making sure things looked nice. After her opening chores, she went into the back, baking some goodies. By the time the baking was done and set out, the sun was up. The smell from the fresh goods seeped from the small shop.

Thorn sighed a bit.

"Yes,"

He muttered out, generally meaning to everything Encre has said. He worked quickly, putting things in places and putting the chest away. After he made a few adjustments, he opened the doors, making sure they stayed open. Officially ready! At last! Pony's and creatures alike could flood the building now! He walked off from the door, just so he wasn't in the way. Now, the waiting game begins.

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Dec 10, 14:18:55Ink looked up at his friend some, then began walking with him. He didn't struggle, of course, so used to being kept up against the other's side. Honestly, he wouldn't be surprised if he was eventually lifted!
"...You know, what the crashed pony said is stuck in my head; I hope they do have ice cream inside, Colere." Ink peeped out to the griffon.
"I'm...Hoping it will all be good, still. And. Nothing bad will happen." Ink mused, eyes getting a bit shifty.

Colere gave a smiple nod.

Quote from: Odd One on 2017 Dec 10, 14:40:06Seeing the two make their way to the lodge, Lollipop grabbed the harness on his cart and slid it over himself before following close behind them. He couldn't help but listen to the pony tucked under the griffin's wing. He sounded like the shy type...Lollipop would have to tone down his spastic nature around him. Wouldn't want to scare the poor guy. He increased his pace so he'd be beside them, speaking softly as to not scare him.
"If it doesn't, I have plenty of other things that you might like." He offered with a smile, motioning to the cart he was pulling with his head. "I can whip up just about anything. All you need to do is ask."

Colere looked Lollipop over. Interesting. He looked away, staying out of this conversation.

Name: "Prince Encre"

Species: Seems to be a unicorn.

Personality: Mostly quiet and tends to avoid physical contact with those he doesn't know. He comes off as shy most of the time, but does have his bouts of joy that leaves him bouncing.

Occupation: 'Prince of the land Aponestaphi'

Appearance: Off-white with the tint of blue. He has blue markings on his snout, legs, and ears, with navy hooves and horns. His mane and tail is lavender with lighter streaks.
He sports a short purple cape clasped with a light blue gem, and has a silver crown with blue and lavender gems.

Misc: He isn't who he seems, and that brings up the question on if the land itself is real! He doesn't seem like a threat, however.

The prince quickly paced into the room, panting softly. He was balancing a small chest on his back, it filled with more decorations. Do they really need more? "Thorn! I got... Recipe cards to make too! I still can't believe this turned out so beautifully! Do you think other members of royalty will really join?"Encre breathed out.
"Oooh gosh, I feel so nervous!"

Thorn stopped with his pacing and walked over, giving a slight nod.

"Yes, I am certain that royalty will be joining us. After all, one cannot simply miss a visit from a new kingdom."

He takes the chest and walks off with it, putting it down in a corner and starting to take everything from it, and put it away.

"I too, am nervous. I doubt something like this is a normal occurrence. Though, this has to be done. It is the only real way I can assess many... Pony's at one time. The guests should be arriving soon, so be on your best behavior. We need not to draw suspicion and rumors."
6
News, spread via flyer, word of mouth, news, and other wise, has spread across equestria! A king from another land has come here to visit! And as tradition in his land, he is hosting a Grand "party" for those who would like to come. Located in a small village, rather than in some big place such as Canterlot.

The inside, and outside, of the building sports a sort of Alantian and Greek aesthetic. There was all sorts of exotic, and familiar food to the pony's. Everything, except the decor, seemed to be a mix of new and old. New and old food, music, plants, all of that sorts. The main attraction was the inside, but the outside was just as nice. At the back of the building, there was flowers and plants galore. Tall plants, small plants, plants that would lightly wrap around a hoof like a vine, all the best ones. Plants were also hung inside as well. Gentle blue lights projected onto the ceiling and walls, making sort of under water patterns on them. Greek like patterns were on the wall, the general colour scheme being white and gold. The over all feel to the building, inside and out, was very royal, and professional.

Name: King Thorn

Species: Peryton

Personality: Thorn holds his head up high, believing in his own abilities more than anyone else's. He strides with pride, flaunting it in others faces. Though, he does put down his pride most of the time. When he's not prideful, he puts on a stoic face (which happens to be his normal face) and acts rather emotionless. He can be rather stubborn on matters, and has a hard time giving up his beliefs.

Occupation: King of the Roseon Kingdom

Appearance:
His fur, a milky white, is spotted with black and grey spots, that go down his legs, and even his tail. His eyes are a dull red, only slightly standing out from the rest of him. His large wings are tipped with black, the underside being rather spotted, as well as the base of the wings. His ears usually poke up from his large, jewel in-crested crown. His antlers, big and mighty, rest nicely atop his head. His robe, made of the finest felt,is tipped with gold, and held together greek style. He will usually keep both of his wings under the robe, having one out more than the other. Under his eyes, is an eye shaped spot.

Misc: He is actually a mutated changeling in disguise, who can hear thoughts. Though he will never lead onto either of those things, one cannot be sure if he is truly in good taste or not. It does feel like he is, though. (See "Colere" link for more info about the character)

Today was the day. After a week or so of preparing, the day as finally come. All of his hard work has paid off. Talking to strangers, getting help, painting, cooking. Things a king like Thorn normally wouldn't do. Though, there is a first for everything! Excitement was barely enough of a word to describe what he felt. Thorn paced back and forth, a little bit of worry floating in his mind. Though, through his stoic face, his worry didn't seem to exist. Adjusting his kingly garb from time to time, he kept pacing, a little bounce in his step. He had learned it from his accomplice. He had learned at from his friend, actually. Speaking of his friend, he was waiting for him to return. Thorn doubted they would be back on time, but that didn't matter. Pony's would arrive when they would arrive.

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Dec 08, 20:17:08Ink looked over at Colere, brows scrunched together in worry.
"Are you sure? I mean... He seems to have bumped his head rather hard. Maybe we should bring him inside?" Ink peeps out. He looks over and notices Nightlight also checking on the crashed pony. Maybe she would be able to help him more? He's not sure of the extent of her magic, but maybe?
He looked back at the cart as well, curious what was in it, but decided not to investigate.
Angry mumbling filled his head, reminding him of the possible danger lurking nearby. He panicked for a moment, turning around completely with wide eyes. The wolves. Oh lordy he forgot the wolves! They could be chew toys! His eyes flicked about, but he couldn't see anything immediately. That didn't fill him with the sense of security, oh no. He just looked stressed under the Griffin's wing, a frown prominent on his face.

Colere moved Ink closer to him, tightening his wing grip on the frightened pony. He looked back at the wolves, giving them a look, warning them almost.

"Yes, I am sure. How about we go inside now, hm?"

He turned around and walked to the lodge, keeping the scared ball of fluff close to him.

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Dec 05, 16:58:39((Thank you!!))
Ink nodded and went with Colere towards the crash, ears down and back against his head out of fear. He hated being so timid, but... He just wasn't sure of the dangers.
That, and where he met Colere on his last journey was awfully dangerous. It left him a bit apprehensive of others' intentions.

Colere walked up to the crashed pony, his feet making the snow crunch under him. Looking over Lollipop, his face flat.

"He appears to be fine,"

Colere mumbled to Ink.

Quote from: Nightshade Star on 2017 Dec 04, 08:01:22I see Colere having a mental breakdown. I decided to just confess as much as I can, to try to explain to Colere about Miru.
I'm sorry, I thought. I kinda already realized he was telepathic, because he took reactions to every single one of my thoughts, and who wouldn't cringe at what I thought just now?
I had a gigantic crush on Miru ever since we met in high school. His bright and childish disposition is what made he fall in love. He probably didn't even know I existed, but still I looked at him from the corner of my eye I try to control myself, but it's hard to, and I can only do something that helps it. I really hope that you understand.
I moved over from the other corner to a bit closer, nearby Colette, and gave him kinda of a reassuring pat.

Colere exhales slightly, peeking out from under his wings. His claws relaxed a bit, but he didn't seem to feel any better. He had twitched away from Nightlight as she tried to pat him.

"Do not touch me."

He glared at her and hid himself in his wings once more. He muttered under his breath slightly.

"I will never understand 'crushes' but... Do not try anything on Ink. I will not be afraid to interfere if you hurt him in any way, shape, or form."

It was clear, even through his extremely low mumbling that he was fond of Ink. Why was he fond? It was unclear. He just was really protective over his friend.

Quote from: Nightshade Star on 2017 Dec 03, 16:03:44I smiled, thinking, Can he not be cute for a few seconds?! My face flushed for a few moments, but I felt bubbly inside, maybe helpless.

(HAMILPUN

Colere twitched a bit, one his wings lifting a bit. He quickly put it down though, as his eyes didn't like the light that rushed in. He had heard that thought. He did not like that thought. His feathers stood on end. He mumbled something under his breath slightly, his claws digging into the table. He was clearly not content anymore.

Quote from: Gamepaw on 2017 Dec 02, 16:58:46Watching the pony and griffon begin to leave, the pair of wolves relaxed and Game plopped himself down.

"Maybe they`ll give us some food if we follow them?" Game offered, thinking they seem nice enough.

"How can we trust them?" Violet stated, still not trusting the pair.

"They did free me, they can't be that bad." Game said, trying to convince his mate. "Might have some fresh food inside and a fire."

"I`m not sure." Violet stated, visibly unsure. "I`ll follow you."

"Good." Game smiled, and slowly plodded off after the pony and griffon, in hope of food and warmth.

Colere took a step back, glaring at the two wolves. He did not trust them getting so close to his pony friend.

NAME: Lollipop Candy (Candycolt)
SPECIES: Earth Pony
GENDER: Stallion
PERSONALITY: Kind-hearted, generous, fun-loving, and goofy
APPEARANCE: Lollipop is fairly tall and has white fur. His mane and tail consist of different shades and tints of red. He typically paints red circles on his cheeks and wears peppermint colored gloves on his front hooves. His eyes hold the same colors as a piece of candy corn. And his cutie mark is two crossed lollipops.

Lollipop sat atop of a large wooden cart, a thick coat covering his upper body to help fight off the cold. While sitting on the cart, he was using two branches he found to push it across the snow covered ground as if he were rowing a boat. This had been going on for some time now and he wondered if he would ever find the little lodge he was told about. Before long, he found himself coming upon a mountain edge. Stopping, he peered down, spotting the very location he was looking for. It couldn't be seen through his coat, but there was a bright smile on his face...until the carts started rolling forward on its own...

"Uh oh..." He screamed a little as he fund his cart rolling forward, picking up speed as it rolled down the side. For a moment, he questioned how it was rolling with ease through the snow, but that thought vanished when he found himself crashing into the back of the lodge, his body becoming very well-acquainted with the wall before falling flat on his back in the snow. His eyes spun around in his head for a moment as he laid there. "Owie...that hurt mah face..."

Colere's feathers ruffled up and his head shot over to the sound of a crash. Is someone in danger? He worried slightly.

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Dec 03, 18:42:56Ink jumped at hearing a crash behind him, at the lodge. He turned around quickly, tail tucked up against his flank as he cowered while under Colere's wing still. Okay he is definitely spooked now. There was a crash, and now there are wolves following them! He looks up at the griffin a bit with those wide, fearful eyes, then decided to back up a bit more. Towards the lodge. He glanced over in the crash's direction, feeling a bit relieved it was only another pony.
He wants to ask if the other is okay, but he finds his voice is nowhere to be heard. Choked up by fear.
He must've become awfully spooked. Hopefully, he'll calm down again soon.

Colere nudged the scared pony with his beak and moved towards the lodge.

"I heard a crash. We should check it out."

He flicked his tail and tried moving Ink towards the crash site.
12
Colere landed next to Ink and put a wing around him, as usual, and glared at the wolves.

"We are done here. Let us leave,"

he mumbled to his pony friend.

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Nov 30, 18:20:31Ink looked at Colere with pity in his eyes. He didn't mean for the other to remember the bad times while on vacation! He lowered his ears, nuzzling against the puffed up griffin in hopes it would make the other feel a bit better.

Colere's feathers slowly laid back, flat against him. He has calmed down a tad, but he still cannot shake the strange feeling he has. Perhaps having no purpose has given him time to grow? Whatever was going on, he does not like it.

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Nov 30, 18:20:31After quite a bit of walking, Ink manages to find Zacharie's shop! He walks in, looking around at the items, then looks for the bat pony while still under Colere's protective wing.

Colere was glad that they were here now. No more over powering thoughts. They were all but faint whistles in the wind. He skims through everything, finding all of it strange. These do not seem to be the regular items Zacharie sells. Though, he has to remember that they are away from home now. New land, new items. He relaxes his wing a bit, feeling that there is no chance of danger at the moment. Nothing usually attacked whilst Zach was around anyways.
14
Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Nov 30, 00:54:42"Well! We should drop by our dear friend's shop first! You know, Zach's! It would be nice to find a point we know is safe in a big city like this, right?" Ink chirps out, continuing to walk along while the other's wing was now around him.
"The...Ride didn't bother you too much, did it? Should we walk next time?" Ink asks the other, brows upturned. It was an honest question. He would rather walk to towns if it meant his friend wouldn't be bothered by trains.
He has a feeling the other is reminded of THOSE trams. The place with the furnaces. Concern fills his face for a bit at the thoughts of those places, but quickly forces a toothy grin to his face for the griffin. Ah, his buckteeth. They're not so obvious anymore. Oh well. He isn't much of a bunny anymore anyways, is he?

Colere looked down for a second, then up and forward. He softly spoke, his voice distant and cold.

"Yes, they did remind me of the trams. The more I am here, the more I start to dislike the memories of home. It is.. strange to say the least."

Quote from: indigoEruption on 2017 Nov 30, 00:54:42He nearly trips over himself while distracted, but keeps himself from falling or stopping. Although, his face is rather red now from embarrassment. Nobody saw that, right?

He quickly put his wing in front of Ink, making sure the pony did not fall too much. He returned the wing to Ink's back afterwards, sighing a very small bit.

"Perhaps this world has effects of the physique. Or maybe it is the new... Ability I seem to possess. Whatever it is, I cannot say I am fond of what's going on. I do not like looking back at the past with saddened eyes."

Colere puffed his feathers up a bit, being distressed.

Spoiler: Character • show

Name: Colère

Race: Mutant Changeling/Griffin

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown, but appears to be an adult

Talent: He appears to have a knack for finding the corrupt, and taking down those who should be hard to take down. It is unknown how he determines who is "impure" and "pure", but it seems to depend on the person/pony/whatever. In addition to this, he seems to have the odd ability of Telepathy, though he cannot control when he uses it and what he hears. Thoughts appear as voices to him, and he will either hear everyone's thoughts, or no one's thoughts.

Personality: While mainly stoic and emotionless, he does tend to have a more angry side of him. Whilst overwhelmed (via thoughts or other means), he will quickly turn to anger and burst out. He highly dislikes getting angry, as it clouds his judgement, but he will sometimes take that anger, and turn it into something rather sinister. Colere does not seem to be afraid of the thought of needing to fight to the death, or will he try to avoid it. He is rarely seen without his buddy, Ink by his side. The griffin is quite attached to his pony friend, though most would be unsure why, he makes it clear that if anything were to happen to Ink, he would do something quite rash.

Occupation: Baseball Player/"Purifier"

Misc: Colere is sometimes referred to as "The Batter" or some form of that. The name "The Batter" is more of a title to him, though it is used as a nickname by his close friends. As a mutant changeling, he does not feed on love, rather he seems to feed on "impurity" or "corruption". It is unsure how his body/mind determines what is eatable, but that doesn't quite matter. He is always in his griffin form, and his attitude makes it hard to find out what he truly is. It is also hard to figure out that he can hear others thoughts, as he never leads onto it, or never really says that he can. Unless another can read thoughts (which around Colere there might be an echo of thoughts), a regular pony will not find out.

(Looks in the link in sig)

Colere stepped out from the train, feathers puffed up. He eyed everyone around him, glaring as he intently listened to whispered thoughts. He put a wing around his horse friend, Ink, staying near him. The monochrome, and rather beefy, griffin held his head high. Canterlot. The city of the princesses. The perfect time to observe how this new, and rather strange, land is like. How exciting. Well, not really. He has no feelings towards it, and instead feels like it's his job to inspect here.

"I am glad the tram ride is over,"

Colere said a bit quietly. In all honesty, he really hated trains. It reminded him of home. A home he rather not remember. He was quiet the whole ride, listening the whole time. Now though, he was off and could relax.

"Where is the first place we go?"

Colere looked down at Ink, tilting his head.
16
Colere looked at the two wolves, watching for a second as Ink struggled to help. He spread his wings out and slowly lifted himself off the ground, and into the sky. Grabbing the fallen tree, he lifts it up and tosses it to the side. My is this griffin strong.
17
Colere's head snapped towards the sound of the crack.

"We are not alone,"

he mumbled to Ink. Pulling the pony to his side with his wing, he made his way over to the sound, curious to see who was with him.

"Let's go check it out."
18
Colere looked over at Zacharie. He gave a simple wave and looked away, putting his head on the table. He used his wings to cover his head. He was still a little angry, but he can't help that. The dark provided him with a sense of home. The whispered thoughts actually helped with that. As much as seeing Zacharie was... a surprise to say the least, he was more concerned about trying to stay calm. Mostly for Ink's sake. It was clear he was fond of his friend, and would do just about anything to protect him. Why the griffin was so fond of him is a mystery.

Colere exhaled gently and stayed quiet, not moving at all. He had the voice of someone else to listen to now. Someone familiar to him. Someone he could refer to as his "faith". Someone that may not have the best of things to say.
19
Colere nodded slightly.

"Mmm, yes. I suppose I should avoid that. I guess I am a tad.. Homesick. What is done, is done and I cannot undo it (not like I would want to)."

He lifted his head off the table and shook himself off a bit, puffing up for a few seconds. He glanced at Onyx, finding it strange how he was suddenly happy. His only added to his distrust. He glared at Onyx for a bit before looking away.

A rather fluffy and monochrome griffin walked out of the portal, his feathers fluffing up at the cold. He put a wing over Ink to protect his friend from the cold. He looked around, quite confused on where they were. It was all... White! So it must be safe, right? Colere, the griffin, looked down at Ink.

"I am here."
