Updates Archive / Re: We're extending our Open Server Weekend!

Good. Great. I hope you all had fun. I've been following this game since the day it started and dreamed of playing it. While you new people had fun playing the game for two-Four hours, 90% of us actual fans didn't even get a chance. You have thousands of fans including me and excite us and make us hyped up and saying "OMG i wanna play so bad!!!"  then you get tiny servers that can only handle like 50 people at a time and use a lame escuse: "It's in pre-Alpha." I went to the library on the first day to download it only to discover it only comes out at night. I went back home. I went to another library a second day and downloaded it. I was stuck on the login screen. On facebook you said "Keep trying!" Still didn't work. Went home, didn't go again. And  I think after this horribly dissapointing "Open server weekend" event, i cannot find more reasons to follow this game anymore. I won't be coming back here. For a long time. Those of you with internet and nothing else to do with your life, enjoy the game. Goodbye.

But there's no "Analyzing" involved on this kind of topic. Why does dragon ball z have So many males and only around two females? It's a show mostly targetting teenage males. Simple answer. When my brother sees a conversation between two girls in movies or on TV shows, he quikely looses intrest and ignores it until some boys get one the screen. There is no analyzing. My five year old sister always turns her eyes towards girls. She has absolutely no interest in boys watsoever. What is there to analyze when the answer is so simple?

I'm at the library and it's July 5th at 1:45 pm. where is the download  :'( i was so excited i came out of my house in the heat of summer just to play it. where is it???

Guys just like Digibrony, you think way too hard about MLP. Its a five year old girl's show. What do you expect? That's like asking why strawberry shortcake has no boys. Why would a little girl WANT to see a full on conversation between two grown stallions? Digibrony made a video on why is there more mares than stallions. The simple answer: it's a little girl's show. I think from time to time you guys tend to forget who the orginal target audience is...

There are plenty of videos on youtube of it. There was particularly one with fantastic quality which is how i was able to watch the movie clearly. I walk away from it saying its not as bad as i expected it to be and i am actually moderatly satisfied i'm just upset that the  movie will apperantly have no influence on the show whatsoever especially if twilight has a crush on flash sentry. I thought that was adorable! Why won't flash appear in MLP?

ok, listen. I didn't ACTUALLY 100% believe the post.

Discord becoming an alicorn? NO. I'm not THAT stupid. i at least thought that he would maybe attempt to take the throne and capture celestia and "pretend" to be an alicorn or something. "as she always intended" i thought was simply a little joke.

as for justin beiber guest starring: i told my family about it. they believed me. it's not THAT unlikely. in a Q & A session on equestria daily with one of the voice actors (possibly tara strong) they stated that they have tried to contact famous actors and singers to voice characters and such in MLP but they all declined. so when i saw the post of justin beiber guest starring, it wasn't THAT crazy to me. i though maybe they asked him and he happened to say YES unlike the others they contacted.

cadance and shining armour entering the "wife-throwing" competition obviously was a joke to me but i really did believe that there was gonna be some kind of equestrian competion like. DING DING DING. HELLO?? The equestria games.

so i'm not THAT idiotic. I can't believe you guys actually thought i believed 100% of it.

I seriously hope that no one believes this. It was an April Fools joke from the writers for all of you idiots thinking this is real.

Would someone be kind enough to repost controls for the game here?

IIRC...

W, A, S, D was move...

Shift was run (I think...)

Space was jump and Double-Space was fly (as pegasus)

But I can't remember any of the other controls...

Can someone repost them in this thread so I can write them down so I don't bog up the in-game chat with questions on the controls of the game?

I'd really appreciate it.

Double W (forward) is now gallop (sprint)

Shift W is now walk (trot / jog is default speed)

Q and E are barrel roll for flying

Left-Click on skill icons in the hotbar and then Left-Click on the screen for several skills

Right-Click as another way to steer

Middle-Click to move the camera

Arrow keys move the camera also

Roll the Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out

Escape key for main menu

and... I believe Ellowee will help with more stuff like this when the servers open. 

uhm... i have a laptop  can i still zoom in and out and move the camera without a mouse?

Jeez I didn't know, ok?? My phone can't show comments that the people were saying in response to it. Maybe what's obvious to you is not obvious to me. With all the crazy things happening lately, I thought it may be possible and I don't watch the Jeffersons. How would I know how rediculous this is?? My bad. I'M SORRY. I'll stay out of conversations from now on because i always screw up.

i drew two of them but the other two were by twilightsilvermoon from deviant and Ethereal Nebula from here. I drew alot more drawings but they are on my deviant page  just read the descriptions above each picture. I wrote who drew each one on the top of each.

That is also what i was thinking. Why wasn't this submitted to equestria daily? But i will give you the clear source. I just cannot do it know because i'm using my mom's phone right now. I can't copy or paste. But i will go to the library or something with my computer (i don't have internet) and i will share the link today. But i warn you. It will tell you ALOT about season 4 and ruin some pleasant surprises. It's a list of all 26 Episodes of season 4 that was released by Meghan Mcarthy.

No, you see, I said to understand painty palette better, you can kinda think of her like twilight because she's alot like twilight except that she is an earth pony and is much more brave than her and stuff. She has nothing to do with twilight but she is alot like her. Also, since she likes books (like twilight does), her fave place should probably be twilight's library. So to answer your question- No, she has no relation to twi. Except that painty may be friends with her, considering she goes to twi's library alot

And books that teach spells? kinda like how twilight found a scroll on how to time travel (it's about time) or read a book on creating wings to fly for three days (sonic rainboom)? I mean I'm not a unicorn but that doesn't mean i can't think about other ponies, too

I don't know if my question will be answered but I will ask anyway. What are some examples of things we can do with the library? Will we be able to purchase or read books? For example: in Skyrim, you can purchase and read spell books to learn new spells but After you "use" it, it instantly disapears because it is not an actually readable book where you flip the pages and all that stuff. You just click it and BAM! You just learned a new spell! So actually that was TWO questions, not one

Princess Skyla is cadance's and shining armour's duaghter.  SPOILER ALERT: she will apear in the season 4 episode known as "Meet Princess Skyla". It is to be episode 4. I also know alot more about season 4. Let's just say you guys will be in for quite a few treats...
