its official. and i think this is the appropriate place to say it. after about a year of being a brony, i finally shed my first manly tears over MLP.

cliche as it is, it was Mic the Mic's reading of "My Little Dashie" that got me. but i figured this was a good place to mark the occasion. i'm still kinda misty-eyed, so, while the feeling's around, anyone else ever have one of these moments? not necessarily with fanfiction, but manly pony tears, anypony?

Rad Thunder

If you didn't cry reading that, there's something wrong with you. :'(

Teal Turken

I've shed a lot of tears over MLP but I'm not sure if they are manly because I'm not sure of the difference between normal and manly tears. :\

Lord of Madness

i dident cry while reading it... i think its because of my iron willed positive personality  :\

The Wandering Magus

I cried reading it... although not sure if it's possible for me to shed "manly" tears... :I

By the way, I've never read My little Dashie.
I hold no opinion of the people who have read, heard readings, or have any knowledge of the story of my little Dashie.

Maybe...but I'd just go read the story if I wanted to know. x3

videogamehunter

I'm not gonna lie. I did shed tears reading My Little Dashie. I knew how it was going to end and I really didn't want it to end that way. But it did. Say what you want about My Little Dash. I love it. I also love the fan squeal to it.

GuitarBrony

my problem was that, i used to try to avoid the really popular/famous/infamous fics for a while. just cuz i assumed it was all hype. but some of them (Dashie included) are actually worth it.

I found that lots of the fanfics actually weren't hype, like FO:E, MLD, etc.

but yes, sequels to MLD make things kinda-sorta better :')

I don't really remember the name, but it was a basic sad fan fiction set 60-70 years in the future where a teenage spike has to watch all of his friends slowly past away from old age. The story was well written, I just didn't approve of the Rarity/Big Mac marriage  >:/

I Agree. I say they were made for each other.

I remember constantly pushing back tears when I read Fallout Equestria, but I failed.
