This is the Out of Character thread for the RP "My crazy adventures in Ponyville". You can discuss anything related, or not related, to the RP here. This is made if you had a large question or some comment that may be too be added into the RP. Small ones are okay, and they are okay in the main RP as long as you can still RP in it. Well... for me not sure. My OC is gone till another time, so I guess I ride with an idea from others using another OC. Hopefully I can post during the time.

i am fine with a season two say fast forward and me and misty are living together since that was still planned but in season two it would be assumed that she still hasnt gotten a new home? maybe well thats up to the other party involved as well...

Alright everyone. I was thinking of starting season 2, so if you want a vote on whether to end it and go season 2, you can vote on it here.

What is Season 2?
-It is pretty much still the crazy adventures, but a sequel. It takes place 3 years after the events.
Sequel?
-The adventures of season 2 takes place 3 years after the current events. Some events may or may not be forgotten.
If it takes place 3 years after, do I have to change OCs?
-You can keep using your current OC. However, ff you feel that your OC may change in the three years, you can post your updated OC info here. This will let us know the changes your OC has gone through. If your OC doesn't seem to change at all... you can leave it as is. You control how your OC evolves in 3 years, but try not to go extraordinary.

If we are going season 2, are we starting a new thread?
-We will be using this same thread. It will just be renamed. I will post a time split so that it separates season one from season 2.
Will it still be an open RP?
-Yes. It will still be open to everyone.
Anything more?
-There will be added rules in the RP this time, so that way everyone can be happy and not get out of hand. The rules will be posted later.

Well... that is about it. If the majority votes, we will end the RP in a good manner, and plan for season 2. The RP will be locked to prepare. We will give you some time to think about how your OC evolves in the three years so you don't rush too hastingly. From there, season 2 will open, andd ya guys will be able to have fun once again.

I got some news.

Next week are my finals week, so somewhere this weekend or right after this weekend, I am gonna have to go off of LoE for a bit to study for exams. Ima let ya guys know when I be leaving.

lol I normaly used "Pinkie Time" for passing time! Oh well.

I added a poll so people can choose to go Season 2 or stay to Season 1. If ya guys got other options, feel free to ask.

If most agree by Friday or so, I can begin Season 2 right away. I'll see the tally probably Monday or Tuesday so I can make a conclusion to where we stand so we can plan for the others who RPed before the changes they went through in the 3 years, if any.

Although I wasn't in the first one, since it takes 3 years in the future, I will be using a slightly older version of Doro, he'd be slightly more grown up.

Alrights. I probably should make my changes listed so that I can be ready to post it up once I see that everyone agrees to go season 2.

From the results, I can see that everyone who voted would like to take it to Season 2.

So Ima go ahead and finish the first season. Good thing is that it ended in a happy ending. I like that.

If there is any changes you will make to your OC in the 3 years, you can add the change here. If not, you can leave as is and jump into the RP as is.

Ima lock the RP for perhaps just this friday. Ima go ahead and give people time to think of their OC's evolution, or if not, give people time to notice. I will also add a bit more stuff to the rules so that it doesn't get too out of control for the future. So hope we all can have fun. I will let you all know when it will open.

Hmm... not sure. if ya guys want, you come come up with your own bios 3 years after what happened. Ya guys can decide on your own if you want your marks restored or still lost.

Which reminds me, I had another OC that I had in here that I played with. He has his cutie mark restored for a while. If I plan to use my OC Cheveyo again or any other one, I will add more info of them.

Ima plan to open it pretty soon. Maybe my tomorrow Saturday just to give people time to think of the evolution after 3 years.

@LunarDusk : If ya like, you can free Starlight. I honestly have no idea what will become of her in 3 years, but guess you can decide her nature in the time being. Just make sure that if you want to bring her in, try not to make the situation too great. Don't want to lose anyone in such craziness like before.

Also, if you've been paying attention in my posts on the Dinosaur RP, you may have noticed I decided to have Doro be with the Diamond Dogs? Since I haven't actually joined yet, should I completely redo my sign up for Doro to conform to that decision?

You don't have to completely redo the bio. Just do any needed changes in the info and you should be good.

Yeah, I've now edited the form to better match how I want him to exist in the pony world. Because I just thought, if I wanna have an anthro wolf character in Equestria, I might as well make him be a diamond dog, as he'd fit into the world better that way. I say Doro does fit the part well, I always did imagine Doro liking gems, even though I didn't mention that much, until now, with him being a diamond dog. What should please Doro more than pretty much getting to dig around in the dirt and mud all day, finding pretty gems in the process? :p

Hmm good question. From your original info your OC loves playing in the mud. Could be your main thing. Not sure about anything else. Wish I know so well more.

Well, that really is Doro's main trait, he loves playing in the mud, and getting all dirty. And that's part of why I think him being a diamond dog is perfect, seeing as he'd be doing that, by digging for gems. I'm just imagining he'd be having a lot of fun helping them find gems, for the most part just sharing what he finds, as unlike the others, he really just likes to find gems for fun, not so much to collect them like the others do. He mostly just enjoys all the digging in the dirt, and he likes assisting the others in their efforts to find gems. :p That's not to say he doesn't have a collection of his gems, he just shares most of his, but this has caused him to pretty much become friends with everyone down there. That's what I imagine his life down there is like.
I even drew a little sketch of Doro digging in the dirt, wearing one of those little vests the diamond dogs wear. :3

So anyway, I'll be gone for a bit, I'll be back Sunday. While I'm gone though, I'll try to think of a good entry post!

Peacekeeper is back at Ponyville, we need to celebrate his return! So, Pinkie Pie will say to him the "Welcome Back!" (as a song, if you want) and Rainbow Dash will do his Sonic Rainboom! Meanwhile, Joy is sleeping on his bed in a cabin that he builded on a tree some day ago. The "Boom!" wake up him and the shockwave make it fall a potion on his head! Than... his gender has been changed...
Hope it's not really a problem for "her".

seems okay. though probably not sure Rainbow Dash would do it on birthdays, but pretty much show off the sonic rainboom to everyone.

he he you turning into amare shouldn't be too much of a problem. as long as I don't get dragged quickly into forests, dungeons or other stuff it should be fine.

well... a bio can start of anyway ya like.
for basics, you can think of your origins, or where are they raised. then put in any kind of stuff important in the middle that helped or hurt your OC, then finally you can put anything recent, like what your OC is doing now, where it lives, and other things like hobbies, friends, almost any.

Alright guys. I got breaking news.
I will be off to another state to help my sister with stuff so I will be gone from home from Thursday 11 to Saturday 20. Not sure how much privilages I will have over there, but I hope to come here. I will bring my laptop and my 3DS over.

I tend to be on LoE mostly by like 9PM-1AM PST. I might be earlier or later on weekdays by like an hour. There are chances I only be on for an hour on weekends, except for the OSW.

I would think that would be bad. I do accept alicorn OCs in the RP, but they can't be more powerful than the Mane 6 or the princesses. Also, I think a fusion of 3 races would be a bit too extraordinary, even if the fusioned alicorn fits within the magic limit.

-Nickname(s): The Ice Mage of the Mountain, Snowflake Mage. Opal(only by her fiancé, and close family or friends)

-Residence: Luna Bay(birthplace) Ice Cave in the Crystal Mountains(current)
-Allegiance: Her family was loyal to princess Luna, but she now lives under her own jurisdiction


HISTORY&FAMILY
-Mother: Wishful Legend (Unicorn)
-Father: Clashing Dusk (Batpony)
-Siblings: N/A
-Bio: She was born in a small village on Luna Bay, at midnight during a massive snowstorm.  At her birth, she received a navy blue cloak with a magic turquoise gem that closed it.  She didn't know it yet, but this gem had magical powers inside it.  Her father was in the lunar guard, and was often away from home.  As a result, Arctic Opal was mostly raised by her mother.  Her mother was a powerful elemental mage amongst the villagers, and she taught Opal how to use her magic.  After many years of training in elemental magic, she discovered that her strongest element was ice, so she continued her training in that field of magic.  A few years later, she met a Batpony stallion named Shielded Moon, who was training to be a member of the Lunar Guard.  Opal became very fond of this stallion over time, and he shared her affections.  A few months later, Shielded Moon asked Opal to be his marefriend, to which she happily accepted.  The two enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful romance for 3 years, and one day, on a sunny spring morning, he finally proposed to her.  The two were to be married a month later, but before that day came, Shielded Moon was called into battle, and had to leave for Canterlot immediately.  It was many weeks of waiting and worry for Opal, until she received the news that her fiancé was lost in battle.  She was devastated, and any good that may have been in her at the time was destroyed.  So she did what anypony with a passionate spirit such as hers would do: she ran away, taking the cloak with her. She made a home deep into the Crystal Mountains, inside an ice cave.  While she was there, she also befriended a yeti, and made it her pet.  Arctic Opal continued to live in the mountains, claiming them as her own.  When ponies would pass through her domain, she would have her yeti capture them, and if they didn't have a good enough reason for trespassing, she would freeze them, and put them in her ice sculpture collection.  This began with thieves and pirates, who wanted the magic gem from her cloak, but eventually she became very cynical and untrusting, and never believed anypony's stories, as many had lied to her to try to steal her cloak or destroy her.

Alright. So... just a brief introduction and our current adventures.

-This is Season 2, which means this storyline takes place 3 years after Season 1 of this same RP. Some of the memories from the last RP still recollects to the OCs who continue to star in Season 2. Alright, and now for our current whereabouts. Will be very brief.

-Sweetie Belle advises to the few ponies that Rarity has gone missing
-The group decided to search around looking for her
-They stumble into a ruined underground laboratory that was destroyed near the end of Season 1 and discovered a hint of Rarity's whereabouts.
-The group set to Twilight's castle which 4 of the Mane 6 are out in Equestria solving friendship problems.
-They went to Fluttershy's house to ask for her help finding Rarity.
-They went to Canterlot to talk to Princess Celestia but the princess was not there.
-Now they are currently returning to Ponyville as they just arrived at the Ponyville train station.

Alright, from the last several posts of this RP will show our current RPer's OCs locations. Peace, Iron, Lunar, Marble, Fluttershy, Blue, and Trixie (which is actually not Trixie) are all on the train. Peace tries to look for Marble, Fluttershy and Blue with Iron and Lunar tagging behind. Marble, Fluttershy and Blue are in the conductor train, and Trixie(?) has disappeared unknown of her whereabouts.


Hopefully it is brief enough to help catch up on the RP x3

Can't tell you how much I like freezing stuffs and collect them... (I have put indications on your post Lol)
Okay, okay... I'll tell you one of the crazy thing that I like: any effects that could stop completely the movement of somebody or pony. (paralized, turned to stone, frozen, turned to gold, bla bla bla... sharigan included) Then collect them if possible.
One question in my head: is she immune to freeze or she could be frozen? xD (Why did I said all of this?)

Quick Summary: The group is now in the train and they somehow are now in the desert! Fortunately, Fluttershy know how to drive a train and so they will come back in Ponyville. Next destination: Ponyville!
Oh, and Mimic (Unknown, Joy, whatver the nickname) took the appearence of the Great and Powerful Trixie. She teleported herself on the top of the train.

I hadn't actually thought about that XD I suppose she would be immune to being frozen by ice, since she is quite skilled in ice magic, and she would know how to protect against a freeze spell, or break out of one of caught.  She could be frozen by other means though I suppose :P

Well, like Medusa getting turned to stone by mirroring her attack. So I think it's possible.
I don't know why but I am the one who ask too much questions! xD

How shaped is the yeti? (human or monkey like? Because never saw both of them in the actual show or MLP:FIM comic)
If she's sick, how will she be able to protect her domain? My guess will be the yeti.
Did she have a pony friend which she can trust after she ran away?

Plus, my birthday is in February which is in the winter. I like winter. (And the other seasons of course)

You can think of it like that, I guess. But they aren't really twins. The original versions, which I usually call the Origin, are actually two halves of the same person, or pony in this case. In the case of this RP, or really any RP on this site, I'm not sure. It's usually just that Blaze separated herself from the darkness inside her. Thanks to this, she's a being of pure light. The problem is, she also created a being of pure darkness from this. It's kinda like the creation of Yin Yang as two separate beings. I might be wrong there, though.

Thank you very much Julien.:) I've read through the rules and I think I have them down. I'm not a fan of OP or Marry Sue either so I'll try to keep myself from doing any such thing. But if ever I act out of place at all, be sure to let me know and I'll fix it around and apologize.

As for my OC's here's some basic information about them:

Name: Spark Feather
Race/Age group: pegasus stallion
Talent: imagination and ingenuity
Occupation: local mechanic

Appearance:
Has a brown coat with a dirty-blond mane and tail, with lighter blond, icicle highlights on the tips of his hairs. His wings also have lighter highlights on the tips of his feathers, and his eyes are green. He wears a stone grey hoodie, and goggles on his head. Optional accessories include saddlebags and a robotic arm strapped to his back. The robotic arm is typically used during his occupation as a mechanic, or while tinkering in his workshop.

Cutie Mark:
A sky blue feather with a glowing blue stream coming out of its tip and flowing around the feather.

Localization:
Currently residing in Ponyville as a local mechanic. He has a way with machines and works to help repair any and all electrical or mechanical appliances ponies commonly have in and around their homes.

Personality:

His pack is usually full of odds and ends, typically enchanted crystal-based, used for a variety of different scenarios. While typically carefree and non-formal, he can be serious and compassionate when he needs to be, showing that despite giving bad guys a headache with his antics and one-liners, he also cares about those he's protecting and fighting for.

Things seem to be taking a turn for the weird here as our group of strange -and sometime deranged- individuals are now about to attempt to peak into the future, or something... Can we try and get this RP back to some semblance of normal now? ono

HEEEELLLLLOOOOO Everyone. This is something I will like to impliment, and been thinking for some time, and I have decided to do it for my jump-in RPs as well. For some of you who are in my sign-up RPs, you guys know what I do every new month. As for the rest, here is what I do.

I will be conducting a role call. I will call everyone's names so that I can know who are still active in the RP and who have suddenly disappeared. Now, open RPs will play differently cause there is no list of people who have joined the RP cause it is a jump-in and no need to sign in. However, this is what I will do. Since it is the first time, I will be role-calling all the ponies who have RPed here in the last 3 months, so anyone who has RPed here in the last 3 months will be in the list. I will mention your names, and your job is to just show you are here, in any way you like, and I will mark you clear to know you are still in the RP. I will have a deadline for everyone so that way everyone in the RP is aware and active. Those who fail to respond, well won't be dropped since I really don't kick anyone in open RPs if they suddenly vanish. This is what we can do. If anyone fails to respond to the RP, we can disregard them in the RP, basically they just said goodbye and suddenly left. This way we don't get left hanging on a cliffhanger waiting for a person who isn't gonna respond anymore. This also will help proceed the RP without having nonresponders stalling the RP. If you did missed out on the role call and you still wish to RP, you can simply re-enter yourself. So are you all clear on that? Okay. So, I taken time to read everyone who has RPed last 3 months, so I will have the list of all roleplayers here.

Personality: Kind to ponies she meets for the first time. She does not like trying new things. She flies fast and she also draws quickly. Thunder likes making new friends and she wants to make them happy, when they are sad, so she tells them jokes.
Gender: Female
Age: 12
Race:Pegasus
Talent: She can draw without a sketch (in paper). Thunder can use some unicorn powers but she does not know it!
Family: Cloud burn (father, 49, officer of pony-electricity factory, pegasus) . Rose skies (mother, 46 - does not work somewhere(housewife) -, pegasus) Lila (dog, female. about 7 years old).
How she get her Cutie Mark: She was in a race when she wanted to draw the skies. She had a piece of paper, so she began to draw it. Thunder drew it really good.
It is an orange bolt with a pencil and blue and purple lines.
Bio( I didn't add every detail, it is better like that ): She got born in a popular hospital in Ponyville. She had big wings and that made her parents think why that happened. The doctor said it was normal. "Someponies born with big wings or tall horns. That is what happens and anybody can change it", the doctor said.

Her parents were very happy. When Thunder became 3 years old her parents realized that her wings weren't growing! Her grrandmare, Shadow Lily wanted to teach her the magic powers of a dark pegasi, because she was, but Thunder's mother said that she must learn them by herself when she grows up.

In Thunder's 6th birthday, her parents didn't buy her a toy or something that every parent will buy to their children. Their present was a beautiful dog! Thunder thought that they forgot to buy her something. But quickly she saw a little puppy and she knew that it was for her.

When Thunder became 8 she got her own laptop. It was another birthday present. Her parents told her that she could only use it on Fridays and on the weekends. She was playing games on her new computer for hours. Her father said "You have to stop. You will get blinded and you will wear glasses!" . But Thunder did not pay attention.

A few years later, her mother took her to the oculist to see is her eyes were okay. The oculist said that she has nearsightedness! So since then, Thunder wears glasses when she reads and when she watcher TV and uses the computer. She liked them  and that was weird. Thunder Spin has never told her parents that she was happy she was wearing glasses!

When school opened she had already got a new bag. Some months later she didn't like it. She asked her parents if they can buy her a new one. They agreed but they did not understand why.

Thunder was looking on the internet to find a nice school bag. She spotted a black, white and green bag. She loved it. She showed it to her parents. They saw the price. It was 23$ . Her mother went outside to find that bag. She looked everywhere. Thunder's father was at work. He worked in a little town away from Ponyville. Thunder' mother didn't find the bag. She looked on every shop. In the afternoon her dad comes home with a bag. Thunder came slowly to see the bag. She noticed small details on the bag and she thanked her father for buying that one.

Thunder Spin had really many presents from her parents. She did not want them for herself. She gave some of them to other poor ponies. Her mother always told her to give some of her old clothes ((don't say that ponies don't wear clothes)) and toys. Her mother had no idea that her daughter already does!

It's been a while since I last posted.   I'm ready to re-enter Blue into the RP.

Ooh man. Sure has been a while. I'll update you on where every currently RPing characters are.


- Risk, Scar (LunarDusk), Doom (Doomato), and Onyx (X-BIRT) are on a small island deep underground in Doom's laboratory. Risk talking to Scar, Doom, and Onyx about some plan on using a kind of machine to bring out Timberwolves.
- Lunar and Solar (LunarDusk) are in Eveshade inside a factory that once created the Timberwolves to even out the parasprite growth.
- Peace (Me), Marble and Steel (Misty Fly), Thunder (Thundergirl), and Aqua (Julien999)  are in Ponyville. I am outside with Steel holding on to Aqua. Marble and Thunder are at a fountain in Ponyville. If you like to jump in with me, feel free.

Hello peoples!

So, as some noticed, I wasn't online since a week or something. The reason is because I don't have Wifi in my house due to a technical problem with my box.
I don't know when I will have the connexion again but I hope it's soon. Right now I am just using the Wifi of my restaurant (not often in that place).

Not sure what I missed during my absence but I hope you guys/girls had some fun on these journeys.

Hello again!

So it looks like a lot of peoples became busy ever since LoE's forum restarted with the return of school for most of them. I know it's annoying but it's needed.

What can we do for this RP?

- If Peace know that Aqua isn't really a pony but a creature that can shapeshift, it will be an advantage for her to be a small little scout to check around the surrounding when in that mountain.
- But if Peace did not realize yet (well, he did notice a clue and know it), that would not happen and need to find another way in to check.

Sorry for my long absence. Ton of things hitting me right now so I had to prioritize my most important stuff first.

Peace did had a good clue of the mark. I dont think he knows its an unknown creature (hehe unknown) but probably a changeling or a pony with a talent to shapeshift. I don't think he completely knows yet x3 unless something helps jog his memory from. I assume the story links to a past RP if we do plan to arc stories from other RPs.

Um... I think we have a dead RP coming in. Not sure where everyone went, but I don't wanna see this RP go bye bye. Plus I still got a couple ideas I wanna put. Well guess to see who are still in this RP. Man just so much silence. Really miss the haydays of RPs >.<

Well, judging by how very little activity this is going, guess we gotta do this alone. Nobody answered, so either busy or lost interest. Well lets just get it going. I still wanna do something in this RP before it goes dead.
