I really appreciate you thinking so. Glad we made that much of an impact on ponies.
It was an item they added during the Winter Warm Up quest back in early May. It is sold by Ensemble in the Crystal Kingdom who is located Southeast of the Crystal Heart on a very wide street, look for a very fancy dressed pony. This pony sells all the seasonal outfits.

From the meeting we had earlier today here is the information you need to know on the Equestria Games. Please vote in the poll to help us set the week of the Games.
The Games will kick off with an Opening Ceremony where the winners of the Photo Contest will sit on the Thrones and any Foals that want to perform a flag ceremony to earn points for their team will be given the chance to do that. We will welcome everypony to the Games and lay out the event schedule.
The existing teams as of right now are Ponydale and Cloudopolis but we would like at least one more and you can join any of the existing teams too.
The events for the Games with maps of the routes are shown below, note that the Unicorn Teleport Race will be one of two courses and the final has not been determined yet:
All-Team Events:
Heartlands Relay Race
Stick to the paths, no bunny hopping or shortcuts. Race will start and end at Midway Village. First pony will run to the second pony, second to the third who will complete the race. Each pony will be a different species, IE earth, pegasus and unicorn in that order.
I feel that this one needs some clarification. The race was intended to be run as follows:
1. Earth Pony on foot to the wheat farm area.
2. Pegasus on wing following the roads to the Cloudopolis gates.
3. Unicorn on foot or teleports back to Midway.
No shortcuts, bunny hopping, performance enhancing items, or other cheating.

Two teams face off in the PVP arena and 'tag' eachother with pillows. If someone is tagged, they're out. Last team standing wins.
Earthie Events:
Crystal Kingdom Hoof-Race
Two laps of the outer ring, stay on the road, don't use the sidewalks. Staying on the sidewalk for longer than 5 seconds or going out even further results being disqualified. No bunnyhopping, Also, slowing down the race by not allowing runners to hop makes it easier for judges to oversee the race. Start and finish are by the hospital.
Heartlands Triathalon
A three-pony relay race across the Heartlands. I apologize for changing this again but it's going back to all Earth Ponies with a slight route modification. The race will consist of a running portion, a climbing portion, and a swimming portion in THAT new order.
Starts in Midway with the first pony running along the road until the crater. The second pony will meet them at the crater and climb the spiral structure and until they reach the highest rope. They then cross the rope, where at the end they jump down and head to the river. The third pony will then race down the river and finish at the tree near to the farm.
Unicorn Events:
Obstacle Course
Unicorns do three laps around the obstacle course, gaining points for clearing each obstacle. Penalty points will be given for running off-course or failing to clear a jump.
Heartlands Teleportation Race
Unicorns teleport from one spot to another in order to get around. The farm route has been declared as the final track.
1. No moving is allowed except for turning on the spot or adjusting the camera.
2. The competitors must at the least teleport to each of the 4 largest structures on the farm.
3. If a competitor falls to the ground, they must run back to the start location and begin their lap again.
4. The race will consist of three laps around the farm.
Pegasus Events:
Cloudoseum Air Show
In teams of no less than two and no more than six, pegasi put together a show that has a maximum of five sequences. Teams should give themselves a name and also become comfortable with using the 'party' feature, a group chat tab that will allow up to six users to talk amongst themselves.
Sequences are counted from the moment the first pegasus takes flight to where the last pegasus lands. Any moves or maneuvers can be used as long as team members can make it to a rest point without emptying their energy.
Performances will be judged by four selected ponies and points will be awarded on creativity, ability to perform and interactivity with the crowd. Their scores will be between 1 - 10 and will add up to a final score.
Penalties will be given if ponies leave the Cloudoseum space, fall below the clouds, perform out of sync or if team members are excluded from a sequence / don't turn up.
Crowds can choose to sit where they please but are advised to use a route at the back of the Cloudoseum to climb up onto the roof, which allows access of the top bunk of clouds. Earth ponies can jump onto one particular cloud at the bottom bunk if they choose to, where they can maneuver to the clouds on opposite sides.
Flight Race
Pegasi race against eachother using the map provided and end in the cup next to the flight ring statue. Crowds can sit in the buildings either side of the race track.
1. EDIT TO THE ROUTE: Instead of making the turn half way through the second lap, just make three complete laps around and through the rings and end in the cup on the statue.
2. When taking off please stay on the runway until the end then make the sharp left turn.
3. Fly through all loops including the loop of the statue.
4. You may fly above or below the cloud bridge, but be aware if you stay above it you must stay outside of the buildings and yellow flags so as not to give yourself an unfair advantage.

The meeting isn't mandatory to participate in the games, it's just to give ponies some information about the Games, but all that will be posted here after too. So no worries.

Got some BIG NEWS for all you ponies regarding the EQUESTRIA GAMES.
On Sunday, July 8th at 7PM GMT there will be an Information Meeting at the Crystal Kingdom Stadium to officially kick off the games by announcing the events and to start getting ponies organized into teams.
The Games themselves are coming soon starting with an Opening Ceremony and then continuing throughout the week. All the information on events, dates, times, and everything else for this week long in game experience will posted to a separate forum topic which will be created soon, so please continue to check back for that information.
However there are things YOU can start doing now. There will be a PHOTO CONTEST for the Games similar to the one for the Summer Sun Festival. The theme of this contest is Teamwork. The 4 ponies who best capture this theme will be awarded points for their team (if competing) and will be given the honor of sitting in the coveted thrones during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. The Princesses have graciously offered these seats to our lucky winners for this occasion. Please submit your entries here or send them to me (HolidayCheer #7188) on Discord.

I wanted to again thank everypony who helped put on the events of the last weekend. Both of them were a tremendous success and it wouldn't have happened without Even Tide, Blue Cloud, Pumpkin Glow, Sapphire Moonlight, Berry Shade, and some many others who volunteered their time and effort to making these a success! Thank you from the bottom of my pony heart. 
In the not so distant future be prepared for THE EQUESTRIA GAMES> A week long celebration of the joy of competition and teamwork, coming soon to an LoE near you. There will be an information and team forming meeting likely in the next couple of weeks and the actual event will occur in late July.
And on July 1, we will be having a WELCOME BACK party for our friend and fellow event planning pony Sapphire Moonlight who has been suffering from some major computer issues. I hope to see you all there to support a fellow pony who has been stranded without LoE for a couple of weeks.

I can answer both your excellent questions with the same answer.
Basically I am opening this up to anything featuring the sun/moon. So it can be just the scenery with no ponies, be the moon/sun in any position, or be a picture of sompony's flank mooning the camera.

SUMMER SUN FESTIVAL!!!!!!
The event will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 4PM CDT (see timezones explained below) and will be a celebration of the rising of the sun and the beginning of summer on the longest day of the year!
There will be music, dancing, food, and a brief appearance by the always popular WONDERBOLTS! And of course the aforementioned, raising of the sun by Princess Celestia (in fact I hear all the Princesses will be in attendance).
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
We'll also be holding a contest leading up to the event for ponies to take a photo (screenshot) of the sunrise or moonrise and submit them either via our Party Planning Discord Server, to me via whispers in game, or here on this forum topic. The winner of the contest will be personally acknowledged by the Princesses and be GUESTS OF HONOR at the event! So go get your cameras ready.

I personally feel that this event gives ponies just enough to be a taste of what Nightmare Night in Equestria will be like. The actual Nightmare Night celebrations in October will be vast and grand and feeling that one event should ever overshadow another event is unnecessary. We've had plenty of dance type events yet the Gala was still special, we've had plenty of weddings but every one of those is still special and important, we've had plenty of parties yet ponies still come and have fun. This will be no different.
And we can certainly work to make Nightmare Night stand out and be it's own thing that ponies will remember forever!
There's just some of us who can't wait that long to be spooked.

Thank you so much everypony that contributed to making the Gala super special. I wrote up a very sappy Discord post about it already but I especially want to thank Even Tide, Sapphire Moonlight, Blue Cloud, Twilight Nova, Dandelion Fluff, Aquatic Showers, The Guardian, Random Fandom, and Derpy. There were about five more wonderbolt ponies who are amazing too and I forget all your names all the time. I love you guys and your hard work and effort.
Now we are looking toward the future! As I mentioned (I think ) today there will be a birthday party for a great pony named Sky Biscuit. But don't ask me about that, ask Jet Black as he's running the show on that one. If you see that pony, be sure to wish her a happy birthday!
Getting sorta low on birthdays, so if you have one in June please please please let me know!
Right now plans are in motion for two huge events! The Summer Sun Celebration which will be held on around June 21st which is the day of the summer solstace. And the Equestria Games which will be a weekish long celebration of competition and may or may not include the aforementioned fighting tournament. And finally on Sunday, June 10th, there will be a big Graduation Party event for all the ponies who are graduating from some form of school this year! It will be held in the square outside of SCC at about 2PM CDT and there will be lots of free food and socializing with some great ponies. If you want to be celebrated please let me know so I can include you on the list of honorees. Graduating from school is a tough thing and we want you to know you're amazing!

) today there will be a birthday party for a great pony named Sky Biscuit. But don't ask me about that, ask Jet Black as he's running the show on that one. Right now plans are in motion for two huge events! The Summer Sun Celebration which will be held on around June 21st which is the day of the summer solstace. And the Equestria Games which will be a weekish long celebration of competition and may or may not include the aforementioned fighting tournament. I just want to say thank you to all the mods and devs for your hard work and dedication to this game and the world you have created. I would name you all and thank you personally but I don't know you all yet and I would very much like to eventually.
I think Pumpkin really said exactly what I wanted to say. You have created an amazing place that feels exactly like what living the life of a pony in Equestria should feel like. It is my escape from the real world and I have met so many amazing ponies there and have made many of what I think/hope will be lifelong friendships/relationships
So let me just counter the who 'game is dying' point with a few names. Because LoE will never die and I can prove it:
Jet Black, Wordsmith, Lens Flare, Healing Lavender, Pumpkin Glow, Blue Cloud, Fluffy Cloud, Marshmallow Cactus, Bubblegum Slash, Jamie Cheer, Random Fandom, Tranquil Wafer, Sapphire Moonlight, Jet Blank, Tape Quintus, Even Tide, Watermelon Zest, Gloomy Feathers, Cloudy Skies, Aurora Skies, CMC Scoots, Spectral Spirit, Blue Glaze, Winter Cactus, Feather Band, Midnight Star, Mystic Space, Dandelion Fluff, Fluffy Flyff Cloudls, and there are so many more who I am sorry if I've forgotten.
I think I made my point though. LoE isn't a game. It's these ponies, no these people. And as long as at least one of them is there, it will still exist. And all your hard work will have meant something. You guys are all amazing for what you've done and we love you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!<3
