Still using that screenshot of Ruby from the end of RWBY: World of Remnant: Huntsmen because it's just so lovely.
I can't wait for RWBY Volume 4 to come out so I can take more wallpaper-worthy screenshots, especially now that it looks so beautiful animated in Maya instead of Poser Pro! (I saw the sneak peek they showed at RTX. Oh.. my.. Celestia. :3 Ruby's new cape physics blew my mind!!)

People have already died playing that game. It's very unsafe if you live in a city, the fewer people playing it the better.

But I wanna be a Pokemon Trainer and capture the gym on the junior college's campus. :c (Excellent placement for a gym, btw.)

Wellp.
I don't have a smartphone, and my Kindle Fire HDX that I got for Christmas doesn't have GPS.
So...
No Pokemon Go for me.
*Sigh* Y'all have fun finding Eevees in your bathrooms. I'll just look at your cool screenshots. :s

I turned my back for less than a minute, and my cat sat on my laptop's keyboard. :l

She bookmarked a page, moved a window, typed a little bit, opened something, and turned my screen sideways.
I'm very fortunate that I learned how to change the screen's orientation from my classmates in middle school, so I was able to immediately correct it into its upright position so I could undo everything else she did without dealing with wonky mouse controls.

At least she didn't turn on airplane mode like her son once did. Still, that was really annoying.

Whatever you do never kick a trashcan as hard as you can only to realize too late that it's full.

As if I wasn't having enough problems with my knees.

And when you're in Texas, in the summer, don't kick over an outdoor trash can. It might have bees in it. =P They love discarded soda cans.

Thirdly, not being about to complete the Community badge if you don't own a cell phone.  Again, that's unfair to those without access to one.

^ Companies having this attitude of "It's 2016. Everyone has a cell phone! Everyone's cell phone is a smartphone! Everyone has perfect, flawless, high-speed internet!"

Not everyone.
Some people can't get a cell phone.
Some people, like me, can't get a smartphone.
Some people live in areas in the USA where it's pretty much impossible to get decent internet, or even internet at all. ("That's not my problem, don't buy Xbox One, then, peasants!" Shush, you greedy business person!)

[A THOUSAND BAFFLED NEIGHS]
Are there really still people in the RWBY fandom who don't understand the timeline of what happened with Yang's mother?!! Really?!! Even after later episodes have cleared things up a bit?!! AGH!!! :facehoof:

Spoiler: The correct story. Spoilers • show
Breakdown of the story Yang told in Volume 2:
- Yang and Ruby grew up on an island called Patch
- Dad (Taiyang) was a Huntsman who taught at an academy, and mom (Summer) was a Huntress who took on missions around the kingdom ("Her name was Summer Rose [...]")
- One day, Summer went on a mission and didn't come back home
- Taiyang became depressed and revealed to Yang that Summer actually was not her mother, just Ruby's mother
- Taiyang explains that Yang's mother (Raven) left her with him shortly after her birth, for unknown reasons. Everyone Yang asked claimed that no one had seen or heard from her since she left.
- Taiyang didn't tell her much, but he did tell her that he, Summer, Qrow (their uncle), and Raven were all on a team together
- Yang was desperate for more info, so one day, while Taiyang was teaching at the academy and Qrow was out, she took Ruby into the woods, following what she believed to be a lead. Grimm (monsters) showed up, but Qrow saved her and Ruby. That day, she learned not to let her search for answers be the only thing she thinks about because it could get her or someone she cares about hurt.

So, basically, the timeline of that story is:
- Summer, Taiyang, Raven, and Qrow were on a team together (revealed in Volume 3 to be Team STRQ (Stark))
- Taiyang and Raven become a couple
- Raven gives birth to Yang and then leaves for unknown reasons
- Taiyang and Summer become a couple, raising Yang together
- Summer gives birth to Ruby
- Years later, Summer goes on a mission and doesn't make it back home
- Taiyang explains to Yang the truth about her mother
- Yang takes Ruby with her into the woods, following a lead, and Qrow saves them from Grimm
Simple, right?

And then, late in Volume 2, a mysterious masked woman with a colorful sword saves Yang from Neo (one of the antagonists).

In Volume 3, Qrow shows off an old photograph of Team STRQ, and Yang recognizes the sword that Raven has in the photo. A little while later in Volume 3, Yang mentions this to Qrow and tells him that a woman with the same sword saved her, which reveals that, yes, the woman who saved Yang in Volume 2 was her mother, Raven. Qrow confirms this ("You're not crazy, Yang. That was your mother, alright."), mentions Raven is his sister, and says that Raven told him she saved Yang once but won't do it again.

^Okay, so that's the correct story, from what we've been told and shown by the show itself.
Here is a summary of the explanation I just saw a confused fan give:
Spoiler: Despite being incorrect, it does include spoilers • show
- Grimm attacked their home when Ruby and Yang were little, and Yang's mother went missing. (Already completely wrong! Where did you even get this idea from?!!)
- It is unknown for sure if Qrow said "She saved you once" to mean when the masked woman, whose identity is "unknown", saved her from Neo or if he meant she saved her when she was a kid. (:facehoof: She outright said Qrow was the one who saved her and Ruby when they were kids!! And it was confirmed in Volume 3 that the masked woman was Raven!)
- Some kind of thing about Raven being placed under a curse to transform into a Grimm woman, wanting Yang to go save her from the curse because she has black hair and red eyes. (???? She has black hair and red eyes in the old photo! She's always had black hair and red eyes!)

Ugh...
I'm sorry, but the RWBY fandom bugs me sometimes because there are so many fans who make theories that make absolutely no sense within the context of canon and then expect their theory to actually be canon, despite evidence from the show disproving it. And then we have fans who don't pay any attention to the show.

I think I've said this before, but I'll say it again...
RWBY fandom: The show doesn't explain anything!! It needs to explain more!!
RWBY: *Makes entire scenes dedicated to exposition and explaining things clearly*
Half the RWBY fandom: *Only listens to somewhere between 5% and 50% of that. Makes half-baked theories based on misinformation, ignoring details from the explanation*
:facehoof:
Spoiler: Example of said occurrence (Volume 3 spoilers) • show
RWBY: Only young women can become Maidens.
Tons of RWBY fans: Pyrrha is going to get the Fall Maiden powers, and then her thoughts are going to be of Jaune, and Jaune will become the next Fall Maiden!
.....
Jaune is a boy. :/

Its actually kind of a good thing youre getting it now rather than later. Most people dont get it until late in life,  and its way worse then.  Ive seen ww2 veterans crying from it.

I caught chicken pox in 1995, literally weeks before the vaccine came out, so im almost guaranteed to get shingles eventually.  I probably wouldnt have got it either if my mom hadnt given it to me on purpose.

Back before the vaccine was invent it was a right of passage for young kids,  almost everyone got it,  so parents would expose their children to it early on so they could 'get it and be done with it'.  Ironicly that kind of thinking was exactly what made the disease so widespread. Self-fulfilling prophecy ahoy.

Well, isn't chicken pox really dangerous for adults? :I So, I guess it's kind of understandable. You only get chicken pox once in your life, so it's best to get it when you're young so you won't get it later when it'll do more than just give you itchy polka dots.

I was born in 1993, and I remember parents letting their kids play with other kids who had chicken pox so they'd get it. There was even a kid at my daycare who had it one week. I was fortunate enough to get it when I was a toddler, so young that I couldn't even properly scratch the spots and make them worse. I don't even remember having it.

Apparently, one thing that can bring shingles up is stress, which explains why I got it during high school. That year was especially stressful for me. :c Not only was I a teenager and in public high school, I also had some pretty bad things going on in my personal life.

I've seen a commercial about shingles before, where all these elderly people were talking about their experience with it. One of them was a retired fireman, and even he said that the burning from it was horrible, like hot coals. And then the commercial said that if you've had the chicken pox ("if" haha), the shingles virus could be in you.

O: Shingles!! I've had that before! It was horrible! >.< I had it on my right shoulder and upper back, so I had to stay home from school until it healed up enough for wearing a backpack and sitting in a hard plastic chair all day to not be torture. Even wearing a shirt kind of hurt. ono

Technology is weird...

Our desktop computer is plugged in to the first slot of the router (for whatever reason), and whenever the desktop is shut down, the 1 light on the router turns off.
And when I restart my laptop for whatever reason, like, say, to do updates...
and boot my laptop back up...
I have to reboot the router just to get my laptop to connect. :/

My laptop can detect the router, and it says it's getting a good signal from it, but it will not connect until I reboot the router.

I don't understand it. We really need to just plug something else in to the 1 slot. Something that'll be on 24/7/365. Whatever's plugged into 2, probably.

It's not for really young kids. I mean, one of the elemental factions is Undead, and in the first game your mentor gets blown up. I would say the humour is, but there are quite a few moments in the game that have had me laughing. (The main villain, Kaos, is literally an evil Billy from The Grim Adventures, same VA and everything). Plus, while I understand that people (rightfully) lothe the figurine system, I love it because I just really like the figures. Also, as for the Spyro redesign, I never really minded it. In fact I just love seeing people calling him a purple gremlin. Skylanders is kind of a guilty pleasure for me.
The last two games kinda had a dip in quality, but the new one really has jumpstarted my interest again; creating original characters using a special figure.
As the guy who's trying to make the entire cast of Fire Emblem Fates in Dynasty Warriors on top of the 100+ I've already made, I'm really freaking excited for it.

Kids games can have the undead and have their mentor get blown up, as long as it's not gruesome. =P
So, basically, it's a kids game that's not super kiddish? Like, it can be enjoyed by an older audience?

It's like how Kingdom Hearts is suitable for kids but can be enjoyed by an older audience. Though, KH has its, uh... less-than-kiddie moments. o_O I'm not entirely sure if I'd be allowed to post gifs or screenshots of those moments here. It's kind of annoying that there are people who brush KH off as completely childish and only for 5-year-olds, just because it has Disney in it. Well, you know what? It has Final Fantasy in it, too. And plenty of Disney movies are enjoyable for older audiences, including Pirates of the Caribbean!

So there's the rumours that Crash Bandicoot is returning. That's great, I was a HUGE Crash fan as a kid.
But now there's the rumours that Crash is coming back...
...
... in SKYLANDERS.
Ok, I freaking LOVE Skylanders, and think they're actually pretty good and funny games (which most of the internet will heartily disagree with me on that), but good LORD, if they bring back Crash after so long only for him to be a Skylander, I don't think I'll be able to handle the flamestorm that the internet will melt down into. Plus, IT'S CRASH FREAKING BANDICOOT. WE NEED A NEW CRASH GAME.
I'd like to see Crash in Skylanders, but ONLY if there's a real Crash game that comes out as well.

Reasons I can think of for people to hate Skylanders:
1. Spyro nostalgia, and the way that he looks in Skylanders. I'll admit, that caused me to have a kneejerk "Ew, Skylanders is gross" reaction. "They took one of my favorite childhood video game characters, turned him into that, and shoved him in a random game?! :s" But I've calmed down about it since then, and now I'm pretty indifferent to it.

2. It seems like it's a game for kids, and there are people who look down on games that're aimed at kids. :\ Yet, like I said above, there are people who have nostalgia for Spyro, so I guess it's more so that there are people who look down on new games that're aimed at kids. Kids games that we played when we were kids are still viewed as "Aw man, that game/series is so awesome, every kid should play it! I'm gonna play it again!!"

3. Isn't it one of those games where you buy figurines to unlock new characters? I think there are people who have a distaste for that kind of thing. Gotta admit, it is a pretty good way to keep the money rolling in without having to continually produce new games and trying not to let the series get stale.

Why can't we talk to animals like Fluttershy? That would make bathing cats so much easier!

One of our cats stabbed his claws into my neck, chin, and the side of my forehead. >.< He fights the most out of the four, and he yells really loudly (so loudly I could hear him from the other end of the house). If you don't get a solid grip on him, he'll buck like a bronco or sink his claws deep in your skin.

My headcanon has been that the Elements of Harmony have a cleansing property that undoes the corruption caused by negative emotion things like envy (Nightmare Moon) and lust for power (Sunset Shimmer). However, if you're a being whose entire essence is corruption (spirit of chaos, Discord), then there's no way to really cleanse all of that, so it just turns you to stone.

Tada! *Sparkles* ovO

When you put "Roleplay room" in the room's description, a random person comes in like "Hi. What do you guys want to talk about?" and sits there for like 20 minutes watching you roleplay, doing actions and everything, before going "Wait, are you guys roleplaying?"
:facehoof: YES???

I kinda feel like mentioning that, yes, I could adjust the name of the room I make to fit "(RP room)" in the title's character limit...

however...

I'm afraid to. I'm scared that putting that in the title would entice terrible RPers into entering the room, and then we'd have more problems.

Don't get me wrong, I have patience and tolerance for many of the RPers who do enter. As long as you take the RP at least somewhat seriously, aren't OP, don't spam your posts (Meaning: Please limit your posts to as few entries as possible. I know there's a small character limit, but that doesn't mean you need to post 3 or more entries in a row that are only, like, one sentence each), and don't horribly interfere with or obstruct the plot in a way that ruins it for everyone (especially the regulars), I'm willing to see what you've got.

Don't come in like
"*Explodes door off its hinges with party cannon*"
"*Sits on the couch and makes giant cake appear from nowhere on coffee table*"
"*It's not your character's birthday anymore, it's my character's birthday*"
"*Cannot be taken out of the house and is here to stay because I am powerful*"
"Give me presents"
"*Puts on party hat waiting for presents*"
Excuse me, but
1. Please slow down with the post count.
2. How rude of you to take over another character's birthday, especially if it's supposed to be some sort of emotional plot point for that character and their friends.
3. "I can't be moved or forced to leave because I'm powerful" is annoying. Let other people actually be able to interact with you and have some kind of influence.
Completely made-up example, but you get it, right?

My RP buddies and I kind of have a long-running plot going on, which has led to our characters having history with each other, and there have even been story arcs. Drama, romance, heartbreak, slice of life, goofiness, action, rescue missions, villains, etc! So, in that sort of situation, it's especially a problem when someone comes in flailing random things at us and derails everything.

Let me start by saying that I was so happy that we finally got to see Fluttershy's parents. I like that the show is doing this for all the characters because there are still some characters whose families are 'unknown' and now Fluttershy isn't one of those characters (Rainbow Dash still is though...)  ^-^

Now we know where Fluttershy got her shyness, quite voice, demeanor, and occasionally being unable to stand up for herself.  :P

Anyway... onto the episode...

Zephyr Breeze... was quite the opposite to Fluttershy. Shockingly so. Almost makes me think he was adopted or something. He's just no where close to Fluttershy or her parents personality wise. As the episode went on, this guy just proved how much of an idiot and jerk he can be.

Plus he kept thinking Rainbow Dash liked him. UM... NO:l

How this guy kept screwing up is beyond me... but I guess being scared of failure is something that you can get. But you really just have to keep trying and even if you do fail, that allows to learn a lesson out of it, and grow from it.

The moral seemed somewhat like 'common sense' to me but that could just be me.

Either way this one was certainly better than the last and I quite enjoyed it.

Stay away everyone!! Fluttershy is 'peeved'!!  lol

Pretty decent episode.

:)

Spoiler: show
It's common sense to you and me, but there are a lot of young children out there who it's not common sense for. I know a little girl who keeps wanting to give up on things because she's not as good at them as other people. She gets extremely discouraged when she gets a drawing How To book and notices how much better the people who made the book are at drawing than her, not realizing that
1. They're professionals and adults, who have had a lot more experience and practice than her.
2. That's kind of the point of a drawing How To book. People who are good at drawing make the book to teach you how to draw like them.
Regardless, she has these moments where she gets discouraged and doesn't want to try anymore because "I'll never be as good as them! :'(" and someone has to remind her that practice is how you get that good.

Spammers, especially in a chatroom, especially when they can spam really fast. Yes, normally, chatrooms have a safeguard against spamming, whether it's something that gives you a "Don't post 2 seconds after you already posted" message and won't let you post until then or a "Don't post the same thing twice in a row" message. But what if someone makes a script that somehow bypasses that? Yes... that's possible. It happened on a chat site I go to. And it's incredibly annoying because they bombard you with so much spam that it locks up the UI, so it's incredibly difficult to kick, ban, or log out. :l Uuuugh...

People have tried to email the devs about it, and at least one of those people emailed them the script and told them how the person who made the script did it. But do the devs answer or fix it? No. :facehoof: So it's something we have to live with.

People who won't listen to your rules in your roleplay room! And then you repeat the rules to them multiple times, get tired of them going "ok i get it now" but still breaking the rules, and kick them, and they come back and go "why did you kick me"!
"Because you weren't following the rule."
"what rule"
"THE RULE I TOLD YOU ABOUT 5 TIMES! >:O"
"oh *Continues breaking rule*"
"*Bans* :l"

When someone somehow cannot comprehend "Use * to do actions, not for talking" or "((Using parentheses like this (( )) is for when you're talking outside of roleplay.))" and keep getting it all mixed up and backwards, and you have to tell them like 8 times. You have to wonder if they're playing dumb to troll you or if they're just not paying attention or if their reading comprehension skills really are that low.

When you put "Roleplay room" in the room's description, a random person comes in like "Hi. What do you guys want to talk about?" and sits there for like 20 minutes watching you roleplay, doing actions and everything, before going "Wait, are you guys roleplaying?"
:facehoof: YES???

For their size, I think they're worth the cost. If they were smaller, it wouldn't be worth it. It seems like the price really is mostly about the amount of vinyl that it took to make them, especially since it's not like they're hollow or anything. Plus, they're pretty well-made and rather show-accurate, which I love. I have a few in my room.

This is one of those really stupid little nitpicks, but here goes.

Pokemon.  I love the games, have a little merchandise, and while I maybe don't agree with everything they do I still love it to pieces.  So can someone tell me why in the name of Luna they haven't started releasing official badge pins yet?!  :I  I've seen a website that does sell pins of all the badges, plus some extra ones, but seriously.  Why hasn't Pokemon cornered the market on these things?

I don't mean to say that I disagree with this company for making these badges, but from what I can tell they aren't directly affiliated with Nintendo, and Pokemon sure as sugar doesn't advertise them existing.  I just can't understand how Pokemon let this idea slip through the cracks for 20 years!

Especially now that they're working on Pokemon Go!
Can you imagine how many people who are gonna play Pokemon Go would love to run up to another player and show off their badges, like "Wanna battle? :]"
