ok so how I'm hoping this will work out is that I will give a situation with multiple different ways of it being accomplished. I want you to give your insight on how the situations will effect the hypothetical person in the situation. I'm hoping to update this once a week to keep it going and I'm sorry if this has already been done. As my first example I will give you this:
There are three apartments completely identical. They all a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. the living room has a radio and a bookshelf in it. The three participants are told they must live in these apartment for 3 months. The first participant is in a fully lit apartment. He is able to see everything for as long as he wants. The 2nd participants is only given 5 seconds of light every minute to see his surroundings. The 3rd participant is in complete darkness. He cannot see and has to rely on his other senses to stay.
Now if you guys would kindly give me your input on this. I'm just a bit curious to what everyone has to say about this and hope ponies find this interesting.

So first off I did this because I want a unique non-pony character and I don't know if anypony has made this yet as always I love questions and critiques but please keep them calm
Name: Cecil the Hedgehog

Personality: Arrogant, stubborn, Prideful Hates being cooped up but very trustfull and will always have your back.He is very friendly and respectful towards other and is willing to help others with their problems, but he is hard to get to know he usually likes to keep his problem to himself
Abilities: Super-sonic-speed (as fast as a pegasus in a sonic rainboom), endurance, and strength
Backstory: Cecil lives on a planet named Littleplanet. He had lived there as long as he could remember. This planet stops by different worlds in it's travels it is connected to the past, present and future. He has made many friends as locals visit the planet when it comes to their world. Well one day it had stopped by Equestria and Cecil decided to explore off the planet but as he did the planet had flown off before he could get back on. He currently is trying to find a way back instead of waiting for it to cycle back to Equestria.

They were amazed by how fast he was but they didn't like his attitude and the reason he wanted to join was for fame and money so they turned him down. Outraged by this he swore he would get back at them and show off who is better. So he made his own costume so he could one day ruin the Wonderbolts reputation. Rainbow Dash and him clash a lot.

Back Story:
Born at the border of Equestria in Monarchville He was a very powerful Unicorn from birth. He spent most of his trying to find ponies to talk to about his studies over Magic. He like to use very dangerous magic. He was using some lighting magic when he was about 15 when his parents came out to tell him dinner was done. When he looked over his horn spark shooting both of his parents with a very powerful unstable spell he just learned. they were put into a coma after this. After this he swore he would do his practice in solitude out of Equestria. After a few years he came back wandering into ponyville. He waned to start over in life. Because of the tragedy that happened he no longer looks for his special talent. He just wants to keep ponies from harm. Most of the time he stays away from people.

Back Story:
Born at the border of Equestria in Monarchville He was a very powerful Unicorn from birth. He spent most of his trying to find ponies to talk to about his studies over Magic. He like to use very dangerous magic. He was using some lighting magic when he was about 15 when his parents came out to tell him dinner was done. When he looked over his horn spark shooting both of his parents with a very powerful unstable spell he just learned. they were put into a coma after this. After this he swore he would do his practice in solitude out of Equestria. After a few years he came back wandering into ponyville. He waned to start over in life. Because of the tragedy that happened he no longer looks for his special talent. He just wants to keep ponies from harm. Most of the time he stays away from people.
