I dunno if you want to post your email publicly o_o bots crawl the internet for email addresses and spam them, it happened to me when I posted my yahoo username on the old forum I went to.

I did as well I just know some companies like to send ads to your emails regardless. I usually do it with emails I don't care about getting spammed though like my old AOL username from a long time ago I no longer use. x3
