Prism Shine (This is my first OC)

Prism Shine is a young Unicorn with an almost-white mane and rainbow tail,and a dark blue body. She is a bit of a bookworm, but also enjoys hanging out with her B.P.F.Fs. Her cutie mark is a streak of white light turning into a rainbow. Her talent is making light turn various colors, which all have different effects. Red makes heat, blue makes cold etc.

This is the best way I can edit my OC.....  So I'd thought I'd flesh out my OC a bit more.

     Prism was  born in Canterlot  and lived and there for the first year or two of her life. Her mother, Light Maker, worked at the train station and her father, Big Brain worked at the library (the small one). Unfortunately, Big Brain lost his job when they closed the library down. So they had to move down to Ponyville. Prism grew up there, making friends and clearly inheriting her fathers smarts. She graduated from the school at the top of her school. One day, her best friend, Short Stack, and her were having a snowball fight when Short Stack ran straight into a snowdrift and got buried. Prism instinctively used her magic and turned a ray of sun red and melted the snow. When Short Stack emerged, she saw a flash of light and she saw Prism had her cutie mark! It was a beam of light turning into a rainbow. Short Stack got hers a month later, a stage. (she was a great actor ) Prism is a year older then these guys:
