The usual radio program suddenly got interrupted by a very urgent sounding message.

Hello? Is this thing on? ... Listen ponies, griffons, changelings, anything that can think. There's a terrible decease spreading. I don't know what it is, nor where it came from. The infected look normal, just a little too friendly. They want to hug anything that moves! I think i know how it spr... the broadcast got interrupted in this point.

The radio returned to its normal program after this. Was it a joke? Or a warning? Your only clue is the local radio station.

(Azure Wave looks at the radio, confused.)
Hmm...this has to be a joke...but if it IS real...Chry-...Her Highness, will be mad if I don't tell her. That could be a lot of free love...
Still...wouldn't hurt to go to town and check...
(After thinking, he decides to leave for Ponyville, after several thousand warnings and security checks from changeling guards.)

*BTW Azure is a unicorn, not a changeling. He's just forced to work for them.

A small blue unicorn mare was just off her nurse uniform in the hospitals dressing room when that broadcast was heard. She tilts her head "What? A hugging decease? That has to be a joke... right?" She asks no pony particular. After giving it some though she decided to head for the radio station, just in case somepony needed help.

Sheer Luck changed the station of the radio; not wanting to worry her
costumers at her Barber Shop.
As she rolled her eyes she said,
This is ridiculous. Nothing wrong with a
pony being a little friendly.
She smiles at her costumers and continues her work.

Azure walks into Ponyville (the trip was short thanks to teleportation), the wind sweeping up his messy green mane.
"Now, last I was here, the radio station was..."
He suddenly stopped, realizing something.
"I have NO idea where the station is."
The dark blue teen walks off in a random direction, hoping to find somepony who knew where it was.

Because the streets around him were desolate.

When the blue mare walked out of the hospital she was stunned to see the streets empty, especially at this hour. She looked in every direction, bud didn't see anything moving. "Where is everypony..." she whispered and grew worried. She headed of towards the radio station and saw Azure walking around. "Hey! Hey you!" She called out to him, which she would normally consider too rude and not do, and ran to him. "Sorry, have you seen anypony around?" She asked.

"Hey! Hey you!"
Azure whipped his head around, to see a mare run up to his muzzle.
"Sorry, have you seen anypony around?"

"Huh?!" Azure stuttered, taken aback at the sight of another pony. "Wha-?! I d-don't know!"
He backed up slightly. "I-I'm just looking for the radio s-station!"

[Grizzly]

"Oh... Sorry to frighten you. This is just too weird for me... My name is Blue, what is yours? I can show you to the station, i'm going there myself." She offered and waited for a response.

"Um...A-Azure." He said slowly: he always got nervous around mares.
"You're going too? Thanks, miss. I just want to see what's happening there. I think they're pulling a prank or something."

[Grizzly]

"Oh, you don't have to call me miss, you look like you're older than me anyway." She giggled. "And yes, this must be a joke of some sort." She slowly trotted the way to the station.

"Indeed. Ridiculous." One of her customers nodded and smiled. In that moment another pony stumbled in, a big wide smile on his face and a somewhat crazed look in his eyes.

Meanwhile somewhere kinda far away but not really that far...

A relatively white stallion ponders what is probably a map although the coffee stains suggests it may have also be used for, other things... He has no idea what's going on in the rest of Equestria and exploring the Everfree forest is starting to seem a like a terrible idea. Seriously, how're you supposed find your way around when you spilled coffee on your map? Might as well use it to wipe your... dirt off your body.

Sheer Luck smiled back at her costumer, relived no
one is taking the news seriously. Sheer Luck looked
startled by the pony busting through her doors.
She was about to say welcome but stop mid sentence
as she saw the crazed look on the pony face.
She slowly walked toward the pony.
Smiling she said,
Welcome! I'm sorry but we
are booked today. Unless you called
in advanced for an appointment.
She continued to smile, hoping the pony
doesn't do anything he might regret.
