^-^ Hello I am new to LoE, checking it out from sheer curiosity, I am a newly converted fan of MLPFiM, I just registered a few minutes ago and then tried logging in to the game, but have gotten an error message saying something along the lines of failure to get user? Is there a waiting period or a confirmation email that I have to take care of before I can log in and play or is it something else?

I started watching show like month ago, and have even seen the movie week ago, and loved it tbh ^-^ I also learned, that LoE exist at all like month ago XDD As for your problem, maybe you type user name wrong or something? User name is the same one in game and on forum btw. Anyway i hope you'll have lots of fun in game, once you resolve login issue :D
