Video game nostalgia thread

A thread for everyone to post games that they get nostalgic about. It could be anything

For me I get nostalgic about RCT2, civilisation 3 and probably AoE 2.

Spyro the Dragon, oh my gosh!

That was the childhood game for me!

Kids these days will most likely think it looks dopey, but hey it's PS1 graphics.

But it's not the graphics that matter, it's the gameplay and story. You learn that growing up in the age of the PS1 and the ages before that, youngins!

I'm actually quite tempted to dig up my old Spyro game and do a Let's Play of it once I'm able to record console games.

I barely remember it anymore, I have some nostalgia for it, and hey, maybe some kids will get to see what he was before Skylanders.

Can't forget about the soundtrack

I miss Warcraft II, it was a step up from the first game, and started a shift from the orcs being completely evil.

Spyro was basically my first PSX game, I still love the first one though 2 and 3 are pretty good as well.

As far as Nostalgia goes I have way too many games I remember, but my favorite has to be Kirby Super Star almost everything about that game was perfect. Co-oping with friends treasure hunting in it the list goes on.

And the soundtrack is also amazing.

Fun Fact: The soundtrack for Spyro 1-3 was composed by Stewart Copeland, drummer of The Police.

Here is a little story when I first played Civilization 3...

I started off and I had my little settler. I had no idea what to to so I walked around for loads of turns. Then I realised that I could place a city down, so I did. After I did it turned out I had made a city right next to another nation. They weren't that friendly and told me to move my city, so I didn't and declared war on them. I got pumped for the battle between me and them. I lost within a turn. Why? I didn't put anyone to guard the city. They walked in and I was defeated.

And now everytime I play civ 3, I use this trainer to anihilate everyone

the story and the soundtracks were really... wow :')
Also final fantasy 7-8-9 marked an important part of my childhood.

I kinda get it from any of the civ games. And then I found out the newest one has a Lunar Republic mod. So now I need to save some money to get the new civilization game

I never played any of the Digimon games or Pokemon Snap, but...

Pokemon Stadium!! I think I still have it. I still have my N64.
