http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Persona_3_The_Movie

It's becoming a trend for games to get their own movies (Prince of Persia, Assassins Creed, Dragon Age). So I saw this the other day and I nearly died. Another famous RPG is getting a movie (the other being FF7). This got me thinking. What other games deserve a movie?

I'm thinking a Metroid movie would be pretty awesome.

Any other ideas?

I'm sure some of you read gaming magazines and you'll see an article for a new game and you think, "That sounds cool! Can't wait to play it." Then it comes out and you love it, but when you tell someone about it, they've never even heard of it. This topic is to recognize those games which went unnoticed by the masses but some of us loved.

So I'm gonna go first. I'll posted the covers of the games when I get back to my computer.

1.Fragile Dreams: Farewell ruins of the moon (Teen)

2.The Last Story (Teen)

3.Corpse Party series (Mature)

4.Eternal Sonata (Teen)

I took the liberty of putting the ESRB ratings incase anypony wants to try them.

The ooc for the halloween topic goes here. Talk, ask questions, ask about any legality of actions if you so choose. I will only give vague useless answer about the plot though. The surprise makes it what it is.

Over the Everfree forest floated a Canterlotian blimp. It brought with it a team of selected adventurers who had been given the important duty of solving a mystery that threatened to ruin the peace the ponies in Ponyville treasured. The destination slowly came into sight. An eriee, dilapidated mansion whose gates were surrounded by the sinister mist. As they passed over the gates a strange tingling sensation would be felt by all of those on board. Perhaps it was just the feeling of great darkness the building gave off, or something even worse, none would be able to tell. A platform was lowered from the blimp since even though the front yard had more than enough room to land, it was too risky without knowing the full situation. The adventurers disembarked from the platform and the blimp flew away. They would come back before nightfall to pick them up.

The gates seemed to be sealed shut by some unknown force so the only place to go would be the mansion. And so begins our tale.

Resolved Issues / chat box

Something I've found to be fun on other forums is chatter boxes. It also allows for people to interact a bit more and share ideas. Just a thought though

Got off my lazy flank to find a creator program. I think I like what I've got here

Name: Rhyme Writer
Gender: Stallion
Race:unicorn
Age: Young Stallion (20 in human years i guess)
Appearance:
Image with cutie mark(courtesy of Itty Bit):

Cutie Mark: a piece of parchment over an ink well with a stream of ink coming from the well and coiling around the paper
Special Talent: Writer- he can control ink to an amazing extent, but that is not limited to just liquid ink. He can alter writings and drawings in books, organize them in a way he sees fit, or fix errors. He can change the density to use for defensive or offensive purposes.
Personality: He has an insatiable desire for knowledge and enjoys new discoveries just as much as a good book. He enjoys helping others learn new things because he often learns something as well. He does have one problem...He is a bit of a grammar-nazi. He cannot stand when there are errors in books or even a misspelled word and feels it is his duty to fix it. He does have a love for poetry and will speak in verse on occasion.

Background: he grew up in the Canterlot Library. He could always be found reading books far beyond his age level. In school he often read books rather than play outside, but he would not hesitate to help anyone is who did not understand something or had a question. This led to him tutoring a few of the other colts and fillies. One day in the library, he came across the poetry section. He had been looking for something other than reference books and books on history and spells. He began reading and was amazed at how poets turned words into art. Putting words together or in verse to make amusing ideas or beautiful pictures. He then decided to try it himself. He had always had trouble writing by levitating his quill, and soon became frustrated. He remembered reading a book about how farmers got water to fields too far from the river to carry with a bucket, by moving the water by irrigation. It was a stretch but maybe he could try skipping the use of a quill by moving the ink himself. He tried concentrating on levitating the ink itself but though he got some movement out of it, it moved as a ball and was impossible to write with. That's when he had an idea, instead of holding the ink and writing with it, he would just focus on what he wanted to do: put he poetic feelings into words on the page. From the globular globe of ink floating in the air stretched out what was almost like a river towards the page, it spread across the page forming letters and words on it in the form of Rhyme's poem. He was astounded at this sight that the flash of light that signaled the appearance of his cutie mark startled him and the sphere of ink splashed onto his head. Luckily none of it landed on his poem. He showed his poem to the librarian who kindly, though somewhat forcefully requested that he clean the ink of his head. He obliged and flowed the ink back into it's well and levitated the stopped back onto it. Not a drop of ink was wasted that day. The librarian was so surprised by this poem that she game Rhyme his own book, telling him that if he managed to fill the book with poetry as good as this, she would place next to some of the great pony poets of all time.

Any critiques and ideas and stuff feel free to post them.

Guild Archive / [Herd] The Seekers
2012 Sep 24, 10:34:41
I haven't quite seen a guild like this one yet so I figured I would create it. (Ahem, getting into character now)

There is so much we don't know about this land of ours. So many creatures to learn about, places to see, and who knows what else we will find? So join me fellow adventurers and scholars! If you have a thirst for knowledge or adventure or even both, you belong here.

(Breaking out of character) So basically its a guild devoted to discovering all there is to discover. Looking for rare items and learning about all the wonderful (or terrible) creatures of Equestria. So all you Daring Do's and Star Swirl's out there should come together. Collecting rare items helping fellow ponies complete quests, helping other's find their cutie marks, and travelling across the land, searching far and wide to see all there is to see.

Brohoof to whoever caught the reference /)

Ever since I learned just how extensive this community was, I found all sorts of wonderful things! Incredible music (being a musician myself, this was the part that got me fully interested), beautiful art, stories, communities, and then I found this game.  O: I've never been so excited, well except for the time when i saw Fighting is Magic, but I mean who could top that? (love sprite fighter type games)

But yes, this looks so awesome and since I have some bronies andthe pegasisters who live too far away to see anymore, it allows for a great way to meet again.
