This thread is solely for the Herd of the Traveller's blessing to act in. As that is stated, then I'll write the set just below here:
That is the set, and I would say it's a good idea to read it to know the set well enough to navigate in it.
And, here is the rules:
1. Always follow the forum rules, that means no sensual acting, no gore, nor violence.
2. No godmodding, powerplaying, or other things that restrict another's character without them having agreed to the scene.
3. No post shorter than a two lines, I recommend around five lines.
4. Keep the roleplaying close to the tavern, it's fine to start on the way to the tavern, but when your characters leave the area then do take any acting in private till they return to the tavern.
5. NPCs are presumed to do their functions at appropriate times of day, feel free to state their action as long it is related to their work, like such as to order some food from Tinplatter and then describe her trotting off to get it from the kitchen, or payment of bits to Tavern to stay in a room to describe him putting the bits in a storage, leading to a room and giving a key.
6. I have final say when it comes to anything about the NPCs.

The Blessed Traveller's Inn.
A cosy little place located on the roads between Ponyville and Fillydelphia, it's form is square with a second floor that is slightly overhanging the entrance, a third floor is also present before the slant of the roof marking this place of rather large capacity. It is built in the common style which is used in ponyville with pale yellow walls with wooden bearings and corners, the roof is made of purple tiles and also is curving up as they slant, making the building a total height of 5-floors. Lastly, the large decorated windows at regular intervals makes it a bit standing out against other buildings of the same style, as they only have few windows at all.
On the inside of this building one first arrives in a warm entrance hall, it's fireplace keeping it warm trough even the coldest winter, yet the wooden building provides a certain cold in the hottest of summer, several tables are located with five cushions around each. At the end of the hall, which seem to take up the better part of the building's lower floor, there is a counter where the book-keeper is at, behind that is a thin wall that separates the kitchen from the hall, and lastly on the far left is a stair-case to the next floor.
The upper two floors are similar in construction, the lower only different with having a small hall containing the stairs up and down on the far right and left side connecting to the other floors, while the upper floor only have a staircase down on the far right side, and also a ladder leading up to the storage spaces above. Both of those halls have a small hallway leading to several rooms, almost all of them in the same size and placement, being large enough for two beds, two chests, and two small tables beside the beds while still leaving room enough to not feel cramped. There's fourteen rooms like this on the floors, eight on the lower with four on each side of the hallway wide as three ponies, and six on the upper with three on each side of a similar hallway. On the end of the third floor's hallway is placed the private rooms and storage of the owners of the inn, being almost three and a half larger than the common rooms.
Lastly, there is the loft functions as a storage for all the Inn's supplies, reserve furniture, and many other items that would make a too long list here. It is a dark place, only with two windows and whatever light a pony would bring with them up there.
The staff of this place is composed of few ponies, the number jumping when there is a large influx as they are not shy to hire travellers to do the serving or cooking in exchange for free rooms. But the permanent staff is composed of four, where only three of them are commonly seen while the forth is merely rumoured at as it have only been sighted rarely. But the three most ponies resting there would learn the faces and names of are named: Tavern Hatch, Tinplatter, and Caramel Bun.
Tavern Hatch is the book-keeper and manager of the location even though he is an earth pony, it is not uncommon for the beige stallion to leave the counter to do other accounts in the private quarters, his eyes are green and mane teal and swirling.

That would be an idea for it, hmm, shall look to it tomorrow and attempt at setting up the topic for this herd's roleplay.

Also, working on the IRC channel still, I'm wanting a cute bot to do stuff there as well, but it is up in it's rough form, still needing to learn being a channel owner. Also, all rules in our forums apply in it, that I'm most certain they will not be broken is also to be mentioned.

I see, three for it. I'm certain I can set one up then, merely needs some idea for the set, and for a subject before I can get it all written up. As I have an idea for all the 'rules' for it.

I'll be there most certainly, as what sort of herd-leader would I be if I didn't appear at every chance I have?
Although I must apologise for being not so active as of late, last few months even, but I have just entered work and my days have become less and less free lately.
So, I do most apologise for not being as active as I ought to be, and I also reconsidered making a RP thread in the roleplaying section, maybe to get an IRC channel up as well for us. Though I can not at all promise anything on those matters, especially since I've seen that this forum's Roleplays have suffered quite the bit..
Thus, admittedly I'll be putting up some rules on the thread that should be followed for the roleplay.
I'd love to hear some feedback upon those suggestions, and whenever I was too late and lazy about thinking of it or not.. But I'm glad to be back to this wonderful herd, happy to see no ill have happened here while I was unannounced away.

Well, we tried organising with this thread, but I admit that we hardly managed to get all members to meet up at one location, I was one of those that actually missed the meeting, if there was any during the test.
But as for a meeting place, I have little idea, safe for a large plains area where there is a good amount of room till the nearest point of interest.

Well, I at least am interested in seeing the distribution of roles. It would make sense to include them in the list of "ponies signed up" for the herd, which is cool, by the way. Thanks for putting that together.

Truth, 2002 is more symmetrical, but in digital font 2005 is much more symmetric.
That aside, I only did look trough the entire thread and gathered what races ponies signed up with, unfortunately.. I also noted somefew members have left the forums for good, some five to seven deleted accounts in all.
But, also, note that even while I did that, I also would say that ponies should not feel pressed to stay on their first choices, many a pony might just change opinion during the long wait.

Ahh, but one have to admit, the pool have been suspect to fraud, as more ponies have voted than there is in this herd, thus, not entirely accurate.
and 23.2% is still close to one fourth, meaning that we are only 10% away from one third which may be thought as how the races are balanced in Equestria.

Well, I think, that it might be that those choosing earth ponies tends to be less loud, as often they are seen as the 'common' pony, having a connection with earth and all.
Which again suggests that earth ponies are more 'down to earth' and thus less attention craving.
Although there are always those choosing a race few openly chooses because it is rare, which is quite alright I admit.
But again, these are all odd theories which may or may not be true at all.
In any case, I would not call it a problem, but more a curiosity to see how many chooses what when they have the chance.
I myself, by now have more Earth-pony characters than Unicorn or Pegasus, but my main character is a Unicorn. Admittedly he tends to show many traits of an Earth-pony and rarely at all uses his magic.
Umm, that, turned out more a rant than meant to..

I presume that the ouch is about that there are a lot of earth compared to what one would think from seeing the characters of most?

I just counted up what ponies said they were planning on playing as when they joined, which I have written on the member list on the topic header.
Total seems to be 56 ponies, of which 12 are Earth, 20 are Unicorn, 22 Pegasus, and 2 undecided.

Perhaps we could get a poll up for the distribution of the roles within the guild, which would be less work than appending the main post with everyone's names listed by role.
Umm, maybe, although, the same issue as the one with the race pool may appear.
And then I would have to also remove the old one, but yes, it can be done and I will do it if I hear that a good lot supports the idea.

You have to first install a mod, which is linked here:
