The stallion thought he'd heard something against the waves, but the natural quiet of the sand made it difficult to tell.
His steps took him opposite the ocean, where he couldn't hear the waves.
He was moving back up the beach toward town when his hoof hit a stone that had managed to survive on the beachfront.
It hit hard, leaving his front right hoof aching even more than before. Clutching it for a moment in pain, he could tell this was going to be a problem. He put some weight on it, but it hurt too much to be used.
Sighing, he resigned himself to the fact that he'd be hobbled for the rest of the day.
"And today was going so well already." He rolled his dysfunctional eyes sarcastically, even though it was nearly impossible to tell he had.
Slower now, he kept moving.
It was then that he caught scent of something.
It smelled...Soapy. Like hair products. For just a moment, he stopped, considering following the smell to its source.
It would be even more time off his day...But he still had time.

Hey there Game! You were correct to sign up here, don't worry.
From what I can see, it's because we predate the child board by QUITE a long time, but I can't be sure.
So here's how we work, just in case you didn't know.
Basically, any three existing members can vote to approve or disapprove your character. If you get three of either, then the motion carries and your character is either legit in the RP, or denied from being used.
Nothing looks wrong here, so I'll be your first vote of approval.
Although...I don't think I've ever seen a wolf being used before.

Gently, it tilted up until the water inside drained out completely. He then placed it back inside his saddlebag.
Sitting for just a few more moments near the ocean, his thoughts wandered to his compatriot who was hiding somewhere near.
It would take a while to find him, but that's what made it fun. He grinned slightly and got up to leave.

It was much softer than the pavement he had been walking on.
He moved up to the water's surface leisurely, he had time.
Once there, he sat for a while and listened to the ocean. His eyes stared blankly at empty sky.
His saddlebag shifted again. Quietly, he opened it and moved its sole occupant in front of him.
It was a simple, gold saucer. Large, lightly decorated on the lip.
He closed his dubious eyes and put his front hooves on the edge of the saucer, moving it toward the ocean.
Waves lapped up further and further until the saucer was full. Carefully, he pulled it back toward him. He didn't want to waste a single drop.
Once it was close enough not to be disturbed by the ocean, he let go. Eyes still closed, he placed his front hooves together and began to mutter to his golden treasure.
Lines began to criss-cross the surface of the saucer, forming a rudimentary map of some unknown location.
A small red light appeared in the middle. His milky eyes opened and stared blankly at the now moving luminous object.
His target had moved so far already...But that didn't matter. That wasn't his current order of business anyway.
He closed his eyes again, thinking.

Two pairs of purple hooves moved briskly as their owner listened to music on his headphones.
His destination was a small town he'd rather suddenly had the impulse to visit. Soon enough, it was in sight.
He'd been traveling for quite a while, body aching from the journey.
His milky eyes looked nowhere, but his ears swiveled madly, taking in all the sounds like a starving wolf would feast on prey.
He felt the saddlebag shift its weight. The cargo he'd been hauling since Manehattan was feeling heavy after being carried so far.
The desire to rest was beginning to set in.
His destination was a small town he'd rather suddenly had the impulse to visit. Soon enough, it was in sight.
