There are plans for some manes and tails to have two colors, and there will be a special hoof option.

On specific manes, yes. That's why there's a second color wheel.

What about tabs for color wheels? It will save a lot of vertical space, when using multicolored manes.
Or even better, use this scheme:

[Rect.Filled with selected color]
If you click on a rectangle, color wheel pops up.

First of all.

That Character creator is just so people have something to do. And it is a fixed size. In the game people will be playing in 720p or up. There will be room.

Second did you ever watched other people uploading their play? Besides complaining about night and hard to see chat txt color over similar background IN character creator they dont notice things like having a scrollbar to change other options and you want to change color picker to a popup buton?
