First off, I'll say this is an interesting RP. Second, remind me of a game and I believe this game is called "Stranded Deep". Third, call me if you want me to join. But it will not be in the capsule, already on land. :P

Ah okay. Though unsure when to bring you on board. Best safe assurance is to sign up right now and you can await for the que. Wouldnt want to call you and have to sign-in and miss an opportunity X3

Not entirely certain when I can go into the play, or how I would(not sure the set up system and such).

However you want. You can do like Julien did and wait for a point to be introduced, or do like our two recent sign ups and just be on a different part of the island and run into the main group.

Alright. What time of day is it, and where is the group(if all together)?

Not sure the exact time of day, but I'm fairly certain the sun is still up, if that's good enough.

The main group (Cheveyo, Joystick, Zealous,  Marble, though I may be missing a couple people) are heading to a mountain Cheveyo saw in the distance, in order to be able to survey the island and have the high ground.

So I could probably be up there or something. Also, that works(time of day), I asked due to a certain aspect of my OC.

I don't think any of us would have a problem with you being on the mountain.

Badgers don't want to fight, but protect their territory! And now Marble only think they want to attack them...

I mean, seriously though... All they will do, in what I think, is watching the group until the group leave. They want to make sure the group don't do anything bad while they are in their territory (like throwing trash, taking down ALL the trees (a few is okay, but still), or worse, setting trees on fire).

@Misty Fly : Uh... draining magic from badgers? I checked your OC application and she is talented with making paper stuff. No way would I see a unicorn with a specific talent go above doing spells such as that. To me that is the definition of a Mary Sue, and that is a huge no-no. Please... stick near with your OC's talent limitations. Don't go out of her talent doing very different magical spells.

Also seems the behavior your OC is showing seems to upset the others by being just as brave as the badgers themselves, and to be that ridiculaously brave even to 100 of them you pulled out of nowhere (which is a ridiculous and over exaggerated number). Not sure if from your perspective you are making your OC look like a fool thinking she can take them on but can't, or that she CAN take battle the badgers and still return home with confidence. I tried to piece together from looking back in the OC biographies and... really didn't gave me any info on a fighter background.

I have to give you a warning for the Mary Sue.

I know how much it means for you RPing, but you got to keep it linear. Try to make sure you realize what situation you and the group are in. I mean, for sure nobody is brave at literally everything. There has to be a limit to the point they know it is impossible to take on and admit defeat. And also, I am okay with others putting small things to the situations or just adding stuff along the journeys and stuff, but try not to exagerrate it. A big fear I may have is you pulling up something that has a huge affect to the story that you otherwise not asked permission to make it happen.

Just want to point some out in hopes you can learn and build from this to keep you safe from getting in trouble not just for this RP, but also in others you have joined as well. Just want to help you out. Hope you could read all this and think about it. So I'll see you again in the RP. Remember, stay out of trouble ^-^ .

Well... the only thing that could pop up in my head about the words Black Hole is that...

If you get suck into the Black Hole, you'll get out from a [glow=black,2,300]White Hole [/glow]far away in another place and you will no longer be on a island... Instead, you'll be stuck in another dimension/universe... :ajshifty: ...

I am curious. Just as I am thinking of scenarios and setting for the first ruins exploration, I think to myself, "How many of these characters read or have any knowledge of Daring Do?" All the way up to now I never had a thought about it.

Just a curious question. Who's OCs know about Daring Do and her adventures?

Nah. It is assumed nobody lives on the island, and nobody knows about the island at all.

So, sorry. No Daring Do. Also wouldn't plan to add canon characters anyways, so second nail in that coffin.

I think he meant this character he's been sitting on, not Daring Do.

What deadline?

The issue with Gamepaw in RPs is that the fact he is a fat wolf, he needs a character to be with most the time. When people go off and do whatever, it is difficult to do anything.

@Misty Fly  , seems we are again in this mess of the way you roleplay. Starting to worry me here. Remember to keep things logical. Your last few post swas indeed illogical. Please lets not get into trouble again. Make sure to read and think well before posting.

Yea. I guess I am partially at fault. I should have mentioned every RPer's name here instead of just a simple post. At least now I can clean up the roster.

Alright everybody. We are about to venture out on our adventure pretty soon, so that means I will like for every participating character that are asleep in the shelter or are part of the group to prepare for the adventures. Do what is necessary for your character's action so we can begin.

I know some of you probably don't have much time to RP often or not feeling the RP spirit you can have the option to automatically report your character awake and roll with the group. Your character will still be part of the group, but kinda like a necessary background group fill thing. I won't control your character but I will bring them along. You can return whenever you can and post your character's action or reaction when you feel the want to RP.

Oi...Im kinda inside one of the ruins soooo....

Until you control the layout in it I'll be lingering in there for a while....or go in the assumption he navigated through it when enough time has passed

The ruins at the center where the black hole is... that one is basically an outside ruins, no traps whatsoever. Kinda like a similar version of the Celtic Stone Circle, except not that big, smaller than that.

How many ruins there is on that island?

I would say possible 8 for now. Each in every region of the island and each with a relic.

Also, yes this ruin is where the black hole was found. We will call this the Relic of Void.

Using Game as a heavy rock to throw? Not a bad idea. The only downside is the wolf's health. Not good for him.
By the way, you two posted a lot and I am not sure who else were actually with you, Game and Marble right now. (Yes, I am talking about the other RPers' pony.)

It doesn't explain how Marble sees the map. I mean, it's in the OOC that Gamepaw showed us the map, not really in a RP way.

Gamepaw is only linking us the map I created to show the setting of the story. and get an idea of the rooms and traps. It is to help the direction we will be leading to so nobody is confused to what rooms we enter.

In the RP, there is no map to follow, and nobody knows where they are going, or what is up ahead. Also unknown to what traps lie ahead without a careful examination of the rooms.

Alright guys. I will be gone for a week starting tomorrow. So hopefully things will go well here. Not sure if any progress will be made, but if not, I hope to continue all of this again when I return. So hopefully all of you take good care and hope to see you all again soon.

I have made a huge mistake now that I am reading back at the post reviewing on the temple's condition after Zeal's visit. This is what I found.

So... for this to work... I make the assumption that only the underground crumbled and the rest of the temple is still untouched.

Well... we will go along with this idea. I know I screwed up big here.

I'm probably out of this. Had fun though, while it lasted for me.

I don't know if I can continue. First, it's been a long while since I posted, so the group has probably moved on and done stuff (I'd have to come up with a reason for Sketch being missing for so long, but tbh, that's probably wouldn't be too hard). Second, I've become really busy recently so I don't know if I can commit to several posts every day (once a day is definitely fine, more than that may be more difficult)

To give you a quick summary, the group started their trek, ran into badgers, rolled down a hill, found a ruin, looked around the ruin, continued their journey into the forest, found another temple, got caved in the temple, look around for a bit, went underground at the temple, teleported out the temple, and are right now about to return back to camp. We are currently standing at a statue...
AAAAHHHHH NUTZ! I completely forgot to look around at the end of the underground! Needed to get the info to discover the clues about the relic. Darn! Lets move forward, my fault for not remembering, got caught in the moment. Oh well... next ruin I'll make sure to go to the end to where the relic is located.
Anyways, continuing, the RP runs a tad slow, about 1-2 posts per day, Not really a fast RP. Not sure if this is managable for you, but I understand if it is too much. I'll let you decide when you can.

For forum purposes, Cheveyo's enchanted ax has very little to no penetrating power on flesh. And again, this RP will be as clean as possible in combat situations.

Fainted, you can continue the RP without me until some times after you are somewhere that protect you from the storm. Oh, and don't bring the sun.

With the wave of the hand urging them to follow Zeal hastily backtracked the path from which we came. But just when they were going halfway he stopped causing him to fall behind to the rear for a few seconds. The blue earth pony glanced into the distance as if he was analyzing something. I just got message for Game to be a backseat RP character. He will be with us, just not as active. So he isn't completely dropping out, just will be on a hiatus. He gave me a scenario for Game to have him sleep in the meantime with us.

Alright, and as with our current sitation... guess he forgot about Game being on her back. So... uh... Ima do a Daring Do with Game then. I will assume Marble dropped Game down sometime during the storm before the tornado started coming in. This is how it will roll then. Let's get it on. Lost? Like lost in what to say? We can work it out.

I know the vampony hates the sun, and I got a plan to visit another temple soon after this. Not sure how we can work this out. Would suck you probably have to ride out until the RP to return to nightfall so you can return wth your character again. OR I could try this if your character isn't that greatly sensitive to sunlight. I could help cover the vampony in leaves or something entirely from the sun rays to prevent her from being turned to stone.

Hopefully any of these spark an idea or plan.

Nah, she likes to turn herself to stone on her own free will, but being involuntarily turned to stone however is no fun, especially if it's mean to be stuck in a weird/uncomfortable pose, even though it's for her own protection against the sun rays.

Don't you remember why I RP with a talking bird, before? To use it as a character to follow the RP. So, it's not a problem if I continue with the bird in day time or you can still try to help the vampony out. However, that nocturnal creature will probably be tired during the day (Usually sleep during the day time).

Well, its the time again, and maybe the last if nothing else happens. Gonna do a role call,  but not sure if you are still interested in continuing. We got no progress here, and since nobody's been posting, I am on the verge of closing this RP, and we really dwindled down. Was hoping for a group adventure and I really can't continue in a pair. We are... 15% into the story. 3 days passed by in the RP and we are currently in the Temple of Tetra at a canyon in a desert-like area of the island. There is a sign-up thread I made for you to put your OC info. Everyone in the island are all to be from the ship wreck from the storm, and you can choose whether you were washed up to the shore or was in the pod but left the pod before everyone else and set off on your own.

And, the elephant is gray.

I'm on a nine hour road trip home, so I'll read through what's up and if you see my name in the sign up thread, you know my decision.

I have seen this PR, just never thought of joining.

Recently we had taken th relic from the Temple of Terra and activating a trap. Zeal using the black hole relic we all escaped and ended up at the peak of a mountain. We are right now trying to find a way down to the ground.

Spoiler we will find another temple.

Oh. What time is it when you arrive at that temple? Let me guess, at sunset? Or is it still in the middle of the days?

Haven't done this in a good while, but starting to feel I need it more importantly. Role calls. I know I am sorry the RPtook long due to very important matters, but now with half of it over I can have extra time.So let us begin. Hopefully we still have enough of us.

I probably play more at fault for halting the map layout of the temple. I was one to lead everyone in to the temple but not until I had a map up :s

This is really out of nowhere, especially since I've been out of the RP, this forum, and the fandom itself for more than a year, but it makes me happy to see that you guys have kept up the RP for as long as you have. Sometimes when I get nostalgic (like now) I'll come and take a peek at the forum, and it always made me smile when I saw that threads like this one and Lost in Space were still going. I'm real glad you guys were able to make it this far.

Oh, I completely forgot you were in "Lost in Space RP". So I guess you were indeed lost in it. . .
Currently, Scarlet decided to reopen the sign up thread for anyone to join and I am surprised by what Onyx Quill came up with.

I don't think I ever actually joined it, but I got approached for it and considered it heavily a couple times. It just gave me a good feeling, seeing stories I could recognize still ongoing. That's nice to hear about Lost in Space signups, I'd say I'd take a look but I don't know if I'd be able to dedicate myself much or at all.

Hey Platinum. Been a long time. Great to see you again. We do our best to keep them alive. Been rather slow but its going well kinda okay-ish I would say? x3 Unfortunately we had a massive attendance drop with only a few of us keeping it alive. As they say, a good RP is not without its RPers x3 and an RP is only as good as the players.

Well the deadline is up, and no answers. Guess this is the end of the stranded RP. Its really saddening to see this RP closed, but can't keep this RP opened any longer with no progress made. It was fun while it lasted, and it was an honor to present this RP to all and thank you for participation. Hopefully we can get a chance to RP together once again on another RP (even though we are at some other RPs).
