The Ranger Corps of Equestria

   "At the time, Princess Celestia felt that to remain safe, the kingdom needed an effective intelligence force."

   "Not intelligent. Intelligence. Although it does help if your intelligence force is also intelligent. Intelligence is knowledge of what your enemies, or potential enemies, are up to. If you know that sort of thing in advance, you can usually come up with a plan to stop them. That's why she founded the Rangers - to keep the kingdom informed. To act as the eyes and ears of the kingdom."




This herd is the eyes and ears of Equestria. We are the Rangers, masters of Archery, Stealth, and Espionage. Our symbol is the Oak leaf, and all our members are given one at the start of their training. We welcome ponies of any race, but require our members to follow the rules of our herd.

Rules

1) Everypony is equal! Keep it that way, and stay friendly.
2) Everyone is accepted. But, you only get one chance. Blow it, and you're out.
3) Listen to your superiors. Except, of course, your superiors are abusing their powers. Then, report it to me. But they won't be.
4) This will end up being a heavily-focused RP herd. We will expect you to be literate and have good grammar/punctuation. But, if you don't, we can always work on that, no?

Ranks

- Ranger Commandant - The head honcho. Leads events and assigns Ranger missions. Owner of a Golden Oak leaf for Rank. Fills out alot of paperwork.
- Ranger Retiree - Rangers that have been through their years of service, and have retired. Owners of a Golden Oak leaf for Rank. Still goes on missions, however, mainly along the line of scouting out bars and cities.
- Ranger - Rangers that have passed training, and have mastered Archery, Stealth, or Espionage training lines. After graduating, Rangers can pick three trees. All are owners of the Silver Oak leaf for rank. All Rangers have knowledge from all three trees, but only are picked to excel in one subject.

Ranger Sneak -  Ranger who has picked the Stealth Tree after graduation. Specializing in stealth and concealment with the use of the mottled standard-issue Ranger Cloaks.
Ranger Sniper - Ranger who has picked the Archery tree after graduation. Specializing in archery and dual-bladed combat using standard-issue Saxe knives and Longbows.
Ranger Stalker - Ranger who has picked the Espionage tree after graduation. Specializing in tracking and information gathering, using commonplace Ranger techniques.

- Ranger Apprentice - Handpicked, and fledgling Rangers currently going through training. Given the Bronze Oak leaf for rank.

Hiya, folks! My name is Zach, but most people know me by my OC's name, "OakLeaf". Whatever you want to address me by, I don't care. I'm 14 years of age, and I reside in California, in the US.

I'm an MMO enthusiast, playing various things from "Neverwinter" to "Star Wars: The Old Republic". I'm quite curious to see how this game takes off in all aspects, from RP to PvE. Hopefully, I'll have enough customization to make a healer/archer character. 

I run a fairly large Role-Play focused guild on Star Wars: The Old Republic currently, but once this game starts off, I hope to transfer my efforts into running another Role-Play focused guild here.

I am also a brony, in case you haven't noticed. I saw the first episode after seeing pony-related things start to pop up around the internet, and instantly got hooked. It's been nearly a year or two since joining the fandom and watching the first episode, and I'm still here.

I think that's about all I need to share here. I hope to meet all of you soon, and start RPing and adventuring! Cheers!
