This would be freaking epic to read...





I kid you not, I did have these dreams.

We had a dream that We had to choses which Friend we had to forget and kill. We choose all of you, therefore none of you died.
But this is the weird part we saw everyone We met right there...
We saw people like... oh god... Can you imagine all the people you've met in 21 years right there in front of you?

I can never really remember my dreams, but here's one:

I once dreamed I was in space. I felt so free, so at peace, etc etc. It was so blissfully quiet and I couldn't help but enjoy every moment. Soon enough, while swimming through space, I began seeing a bunch of memories. I'll tell ya, I was scared; I thought it was my time  lol

In one dream I had when I was turning off the computer it yelled at me saying "YOU HAVE FAILED, YOU HAVE FAIL... oops sorry".

One of my more short and random dreams went like this:



My friend looked scared when I told him about it.  lol

Man, I got tons of these. Some are pretty short, though, since I don't always remember the whole thing. (Only a few involve ponies.)

I had a dream where I was at a concert where Patrick Stewart was on stage, rapping in falsetto about an Egyptian god. It was so inspiring that I was compelled to sing the god's praises too. But then all these other people came onto the stage and started dancing, and the Egyptian god rap segued into a large-scale rendition of "Waltzing Matilda".

I had another one where Kerrigan from Starcraft (while Zergified) was giving me a lecture on how to maintain a healthy body weight. She seemed like she was in a bad mood, like someone had tricked her into doing it, and she was trying to get it over with quickly. Then she pulled out a life-sized glowing silhouette of me, and only part of it was filled in, and the rest was an outline. She told me that that was my HP indicator, and it wouldn't fill up all the way unless I ate enough food. At that point I started to wonder if I was dreaming, and then woke up.

There's also a really long one that I might post later.  B)

giant mosquitos

Whenever I dream it usually ends up with me falling then everything moving extremely slow and me being unable to move any part of my body without feeling as if I had 0 energy and every limb weighing 500lbs when I hit the ground.

Then again, I rarely dream anymore, and it's a shame.

Ahem. . .

Reincarnation dream. Didn't see any of it, but had some random, slight, and unintelligible input from the other senses. I FELT all of it though, as if I was feeling many lives I had lived before. Though it was a reincarnation dream, I couldn't get all of it since I had not been able to dream for years before that. The reason why was a certain nightmare... But this isn't a nightmare thread :P

Well I've had this dream several times, it's like it happens once a year!


It's so creepy how I have this dream annually, I remember it so vividly, if I ever get the chance I wanna make a movie out of it! :)

giant dancing chicken silhouettes' which only appeared when lighting struck, this all took place in a spare pitch black forest and was frankly scary

I had a dream I was cloned, now that was fun! Basically I was followed around happily by my clone and then I learnt a bit more about myself and then my clone and I basically had fun, playing jokes on people and confusing.

Two rock cubes on a grass field.
And nothing happened.

I only get nightmares ,and they are kind of morbid so I don't think I should post them ,but I got used to nightmares now I have more courage.

Ever since I've been trying to lucid dream, I've started recording my dreams. I removed some parts that are a bit gory.

It's a bit different every time, but I keep having this dream where I am in a car on the side of a mountain and the car suddenly starts for no reason. It falls down the side of the mountain and onto a highway, zooming by VERY fast. The highway curves, and I fall off and into a bottomless pit. That is when I wake up.

*pushes ever single dream they've ever had in here*

Wake up in hell, giant Pokemon attack, be stuck in some weird video game world trying to get to the circus (with added physics!), detention in a weird otherworldly school, Gears of War with Zombie Ooze thingy and ponies...

I had a dream where there was a river. The river had 2 lilly-pads on it and the lilly-pads moved and spun down the river. On one was a crab that looked like this (It was giant and had yellow spots on it):

I had several over a period of a few months last year, but haven't had any for awhile. Kind of unfortunate. The more recent ones tended to be really fragile - i.e. I'd wake up if I thought about anything too hard. Wikipedia's page on lucid dreaming has some tips for causing and prolonging them, though, and they worked pretty well for me.

Come to think of it, the period where I first started having a lot of lucid dreams came after I got Franz Ferdinand's "Lucid Dreams" stuck in my head for days on end... apparently I'm pretty suggestible  :/

Anyone have any tips on Lucid Dreaming We had one once but We can't jump back into one.

A dream in which you're aware that you're dreaming, basically. If you get good at it, you can control the dream.

I had a dream were it was the apocalypse- probably from watching too many disaster movies. I was watching the TV, and everywhere it was dark and cloudy, with horrible weather everywhere. For some reason there were pillars of fire coming from the clouds, destroying things. I looked out of the window, and it was the same outside my house too >A<

Oh wow I control my dreams all the time, but it isn't that fun because you know it's a dream :/

For some reason, somehow, we were actually able to connect our dreams in chronological order to form one big story. And I mean big story. I saved all the details written down and stuff just because it was so amazing. So, since it is so big and I have the details saved, I'm not sure if I should post it or not. If anyone wants to read about it, I can post it.

Okie doke. ovO Might take a little while to post up, so have this in the meantime:

I noticed Legulus's post about dreaming that he was in space, and it reminded me of the end of a weird dream I had. I'd been watching a little too much of the anime Soul Eater, so in my dream, I was helping the main characters fight evil bad guys. But then for some reason, we ended up in a space ship, and the ship broke in half, so the bad guys got away in an air-locked part of the other half. The last thing I remember is floating, surrounded by the other main characters, and we were all pretty much unable to breathe. I woke up before I died. :I

Lucid dreaming takes time so don't give up! It took me two weeks or something to have my first lucid dream which was very short. Then again, I'm not a professional. I've only been practising lucid dreaming for a few weeks. x3

Well, I just had my first nightmare in years  >.<

I can't remember or really tell what all was going on in my most recent dream. But I do remember that, at the end, my nanna was baking dozens of blueberry muffins in a big oven. =P I couldn't wait! But then I woke up, and I realized the muffins were just a dream. ono

I once had a dream where the sky was weird, creepy and it changed; what it looked like it reminds me of Giygas.

Well I do remember one dream.
I was sitting in a plane, after I blinked, I found myself hanging from the wing of the plane then I lost grip and woke up.

last night.
I have no idea what was going on, it was too random.
Oh, and I could actually hear my own thoughts during it.
I was not completely asleep for the WHOLE NIGHT.

I was lucid dreaming and I woke up. I got ready for work and on the way I got hit head on by an 18hour wheeler. Then I woke up and while I was walking out of the door a car swerved around the corner and hit me pinning me to my house. Then I woke up, and just layed in bed when my fan fell on me. Then I woke up and sat in the corner for about an hour until I finally decided to go outside and when I did I realized I was actually awake. Unless.. Am I dreaming about posting my dream on this thread...   o_o

I don't think I've ever had a dream within a dream, but I've had a nightmare that caused me to sleepwalk. o_o

I was just a child. I dreamed that I hid behind a door for fun while my parents were walking around the house. But then I realized that they were taking things out of the house, and then they closed the door. I looked out the window to see them drive away and leave me behind. That's all I remember of it. Meanwhile, in the real world, I had started crying, got out of bed, ran to the front door, and was frantically trying to open the door. My hands were too slippery from tears. My parents ended up putting a lock on the front and back door way too high up for me to reach. >.<

Before that, my mom had been surprised that I never sleepwalked because she used to a little bit. These days, though, the most I do in the manner of sleepwalking is sit up, open my eyes, and carry on a conversation with whoever is trying to wake me up.

I've had a lot of dreams involving multiple fake wake-ups. On a few occasions I woke up and thought "that was an awesome dream, I'd better write it down" and wrote it down... then realized that I was still dreaming. Repeat several times.  o_o

There's also one specific event that occurs in almost all of my dreams at least once, and never in real life. You'd think that after awhile, that would become a clue that I'm dreaming, right? Yet whenever it happens, I always think "weird, this usually happens only when I'm dreaming, but now it's happening when I'm awake" even though I'm not awake. I'm apparently pretty stupid when dreaming (and arguably when not dreaming too, but let's not get into that).

Well.. it happened agian...... only this time you were all little robotic like figures with your profile pic typed on to your face. And We had an OP shotgun... so yeah... basically blew eveyponys (on the fourms) faces off with an uber shell spitter. DD: We feel horrible.

I've had my share of weird dreams. But most of them end up with me getting angry, which rarely happens, and punch outwards. I always hit my wall, which is directly next to my bed. I make my fist bruised or cut every time.

I once dreamed that I was in a James bond movie and a spy shot me in the torso. It felt like the blood was actually there ((not the pain))... When i woke up, my cat was on my torso, drooling on me... :l

Ehem' yeah I did something really stupid.
I was reading creepypasta's for about 5 hours and then decided to go to sleep ^-^

Heh, well, seeing as I go into lucidity almost every night (and study it every day) I couldn't get some of what a read/saw out of my head...
Yeah... so... um.. Ever wanted wake up and see Jeff the Killer staring at you? Oh and did I mention it started with me in the forest being chased by what I assume is the rake creepypasta, only I couldn't change the dream at all. And then I woke up into sleep paralysis (scariest thing ever) with Jeff the Killer staring at me... I felt every time he stabbed me and when I did wake up I was shaking and sweating profusely. D:

Just a thing of advice, if you can't easily take you mind off of something, don't read creepypasta's before trying to lucid dream.

That's why you should be careful what you spend the time before you sleep doing. Your dream is more likely to focus on what was more on your mind before you go to bed. If there are multiple things, it'll make some weird crossover that somehow fits seamlessly.

I think I've gone into sleep paralysis without even falling asleep before. :/ I was just laying there on my stomach, when I suddenly felt heavy, as if something on my back weighed me down so I was pressed to my mattress, and I couldn't move.

Did you get enough sleep the night before or did anything happen before that that could have been a possible cause of stress or anxiety?

I'll post one I still remember from about a week ago.
It was a simple one. I lived in a zoo. Literally, like my entire house was inside a zoo! There were lions in my backyard. That's about all I remember. :\

I find it best to listen to very scary music and drain yourself of energy before sleeping. I've been doing it for the last three days, and have been getting some surprising results.

Mostly nightmares, but I love those.  lol

Ok this is getting crazy, last 2 nights I have had nothing but lucid nightmares. (Not including the creepypasta one). What sparked this, I have no clue. And these nightmares are unbelievable terrifying. I am going to continue to attempt to rid myself of these nightmares.

Last night I had a dream that water bottles shrunk as you drank them.. but only on Wednesdays.

Im gonna put a halt on my dreaming for a while... Too many consecutive nightmares, too much to handle.

The last dream I had was having a conversation with a puddle of dark purple liquid.
A flower with odd little details like light pulsing veins and a faint glow to its petals was fairly tall above the purple pond.
Water would drip from the flowers leaves into the little purple pond; to make sound of dripping as if responding to my conversation.

The dream came to an end when it's wisdom was shared and it's life gone, as the water slowly diluted it's purple colours and returned to a normal pond.

I had a dream a few nights ago where I was attending a play starring John de Lancie. (Too many Bronycon videos before bed...) The play got kind of boring, so I dressed myself as a large cloud with a business suit and a fork, then went on stage. A lot of the audience thought it was awesome - what's funnier than a cloud with a fork? - but some of them didn't, and the latter group tried to kill me with a cannon. I dodged, but it startled me enough to wake me up.

I've been startled awake before. I think I had been startled by a big spider in my dream, so as I suddenly awoke, I got that horrible feeling like my heart literally jumped.

All right, this is just strange: last night I had a dream involving a handful of people from this forum. The only thing I remember clearly is that Ozzy was trying to kill me.  :I

No weird dreams from me... because I don't dream T3T I used to have some very odd ones thou... most involving everything looking VERY real and believable... then everything talking to me trying to get me to do things... as I would slowly transform into an very odd abomination  o_o

Has anyone here had a dream where they had an extra body part or two and actually had feeling in the extra part? Like, if you have a dream that you have wings, and you can actually feel things touching the wings. It's like phantom pain, only you might not be feeling pain and you never had that limb to begin with.

I've had several dreams where I could fly before, but just with my arms and legs... no wings. Earth pony for life! \m/

when I was young and could have dreams yes... but it was extra bones and thing like that.  :\ very odd

I just found where I wrote down a dream I completely forgot about.

All of these dreams are hilarious! xD Here's mine:
Where I live, there is this big forest. Me and my family, including my grandma, went to a little cottege like house, but infact it was a hotel.  :I We were supposed to be going up the road to the hotel/cottege, but my grandma and mom stayed at the beginning of it to chit-chat. Meanwhile, my dad told me that Master Shifu, from Kung Fu Panda, had died. I said: "WHat at tragedy!" ANd my dad showed me his dead body.  :o I started walking down the road to tell grandma and my mom to go to the hotel. But as I walked down, I saw Master Shifu raise his head, and then lower it down. So, he was pretending. I was like  :0. Then I ran to get my mom and grandma, and I was like "MASTER SHIFU IS ALIVE :D." I ran up the road to tell my brother and dad, but Shifu came and he was like: "Yes, I AM ALIVE!" Then I woke up.   o.O

OH I HAD A DREAM!!!!

My first dream in years... and I was a fan... no not as in a fan of someone... just a fan set on High power  o.O

licking a cheese popsicle when a hamster with a spring neck was squirting out smelly cheese out of his fur.
happened at friends house. we both had that dream

i was dreaming that my friend and i died but we we somehow on an island to where there were other people and my friend would hurt himself it would hurt me. and a guy told us that we died at same time so were connected but then we found a well and it transported us back to a car wreck were we apparently died

I had a dream where I was in an empty room with water all on the floor and when I looked at the water a reflection appeared on the wall that showed Twilight Sparkle when I looked back at the wall she was not there. then I used the sonic screwdriver on the wall and the walls showed artwork of Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow dash, Rarity, Pinkie, Derpy, Doctor Whooves and Celestia around the whole room

Well I had a really weird dream yesterday but I can't remember everything.

I was on a Minecraft building and some airships flew above me and there were some people fighting against each other.
Then there was Twilight... with pink butterlfy wings oO and looked at me then she flew through some corridors.
After a few seconds she stoped and I stood in front of her and she said "oh oh" and flew into a room.
There was a creeper and it said something. Then I was on the Minecraft building again and Twilight just flew into a group of these fighting people and exploded. Oo

The next thing I can remember I was in a room with some beds in it and I talked to some good friends of mine and then we fighted against some people. I know I saw their faces but I can't remember how they looked like. All I know they were familiar.
Then it got more crazy when we randomly shot with weapons like rocket launchers.
In the next "scene" I was in a bedroom and pony came to me and talked to me "in a dirty way" but I just stood there and said nothing.

And then my memoirs snap... which is probably a good thing I think.

But I can imagine why I had such a weird dream because I spent the whole day with listening to FanFictions read by Azekahh (http://www.youtube.com/user/Azekahh) and played games like Minecraft but it's still really weird, isn't it? o_o

I don't like those dreams that I get where nothing weird happens, so you think something actually happened.

I mean, ones that make you wonder "Is that a memory or a dream?" "Did that really happen, or did I dream it?" or when you just wake up from it "Oh, come on! I thought I already got up and started the day!"

I had a dream where some villain tried to take over the world and I stopped him by firing an EMP from my fingers at a powerbox.

Oh by the way I'm back from camp and all I 'm going to say is that it was boring but at least the food was good.

This girl I hate keeps popping into my dreams as my friend sometimes. :l Sure, we used to be friends, but she kind of hurt and betrayed my entire family. My only conclusion is that she's the one who's having dreams about being friends with me again, and she's forcing it on me through the dreamworld.

I have a reaccuring nightmare I really cant tell you about coz its pretty gory...  And involves my family...  :'(

Oh, and a dream where Im flying, not in a plane, just randomly flying, then I get this pain in my back and Im falling and the grounds not there and I slip into darkness... then I see some blurry figure but I ALWAYS wake up before I see who or what the thing is >:O

In my dreams I have wings.
Its really cool coz its like I live in another world when Im dreaming untill I start falling...
And the fact that I have no idea who, or what, the figure I see is, is pretty annoyinmg.

The closest I've ever come to flying in a dream, as far as I remember, was riding a flying mount I have in an MMO. It was a two-headed dragon. The dream kind of mixed the MMO and an anime I had been watching.

I had a dream with Mass effect mixed with an MMO. I was in school where there were Reaper forces and I had to kill them and help evacuating the school.There were two people with me that acted as squadmates.When there were many enemies then the MMO part came in.I activated something called battlemode which enabled me to fire one big blast and then to shoot much faster.  ovO

Um. My dream was really weird. It was.. I dunno. It shifted places and times, and what kind of stuff was going on changed. There was obvious influence from the Rejected Olympics thing going on on GaiaOnline, though. I've been spending too much time competing for Team Durem.

Then, of course, I woke up :(  Because I have my alarm set to one of my favorite songs that I just HAVE to wake up and sing along to!

Lol) he asked if Brand could make fire rise above the roof, which it was like, an open roof kinda thing this this aera, and Brand was all like:  "NO!  I've done it like 14 times just beating up that guy"  Then he went to use the restroom and the bathrooms were incorrectly labeled or something because he walks into the guys restroom and there is 2 girls standing in there washing their hands.  Anyway when he walks back to go pee, the bathroom is flooded and he's super Read the forum rules.ed...  Anyway so Twilight and her pony friend go back to the scammer's house and they are just messing around when the police show up.  They were under the impression that Twilight was working with the scammer to sell drugs.  They move in to arrest them (there is like 20 cop cars for some reason) and there is  this rat thing right in the middle of the lawn.  It was this giant squirrel, like as big as a schnauzer!  The squirrel calls for friends who then are obsessed with Twi's friend and they keep wanting to play.  Then like, Twi and the drug dealer were gone, and on he side of the road stood Twi's friend, and he was standing over 2 signs, one that said... Fodder which magically changed to Mystery and the other which was unreadable.

Oh hey, I had a Star Wars dream once after I started playing SWTOR. I was in a big fight between the Jedi and the Sith at a space station. At one point, I saw a dude on my side who had been disarmed and was being attacked, so I threw him my lightsaber. Later, briefly meeting up with my allies, I asked if anyone else had a lightsaber I could borrow, since I had given away mine. Someone gave me what appeared to be a double-bladed (Darth Maul-esque) lightsaber... but one of the two "blades" was actually just a large rectangular lamp. It was pretty bright, but I don't think it would've been too useful in a fight.

Apparently I cannot drink green tea and eat grapes before bed.

I dreamed I needed to go to the dentist, so I was in the woods walking around. I found Swebow, and asked him to do it. Then my mom was talking to him and I was freaking out, so I pulled a computer out of nowhere and started a Swebow appreciation thread.  o_O

I once had a dream where I was an engineer guy in a spaceship along with another guy, and we were fighting through waves of alien animals, robots, and hostile soldiers to get to safety while also finding all the hidden notes on a level to figure out what was going on.
It was really weird, and it was a game. The other guy is AI controlled, starting out very bad, and slowly getting extremely good at protecting where he is. He can also move and aim independently of you, and you must keep him alive as well as yourself. Why is that so great? You have Cells where you can move to, rather than moving freely...
I really need to stop now...

I once had a dream where I paid $20 for a tiny cup of coffee. But then again, I was suffering withdrawal from caffeine at the time and didn't even know it.

I had a dream where Slendy (The Slender Man) and me were running through a big open field eating yogurt and drinking coca cola...I am not sure what that tells me except don't read about slender man while drinking coca cola :P

I stayed at someone else's house, then I woke up in some random forest and I walked 6 miles to get home and nobody knew who I was, not even my nana, so I found my bestie and she was the only one who knew me and the same thing happened to her, and then this random dude tried to kill us both, but we succeded in killing him and then we tried to kill each other.I cant remember who won though.

The creepy thing is, my friend said she had the same dream on the same night. I was freaking out by this time, of course.

I am begining to wonder if I should turn this in a series of books.

Well, some people believe that people can become connected through dreams, hence dreamworld. Since that kind of thing has happened to me before, I have become a firm believer in the dreamworld.

I was with my entire 3rd grade class, everyone of the kids, but no adults.  We were in space, in the Death star in fact.  The room where Vader throws Palpatine into the hole.  There was nothing to do, so we sat around and talked and talked.  Nobody missed their parents (which is weird, I mean, it's a bunch of third graders).  Suddenly the lights went dim and this giant green monster walked in.
He kind of resembled an Exploud from the pokemon series (Which also is very weird because Exploud was released in Ruby/Sapphire, and that game wasn't released until 2003 in the US).(http://db.tt/NCATaqo8)

The monster we labeled as "Eater Dude" because he'd gobble us up!  I remember he'd chase us everywhere, us swarming like ants to get away from him, and he'd catch us, He always caught us.  We hid in a vent or somthing, I can't exactly remember it's been so long. There was only a few left.  My best friend, his sister, some other kid who I honestly never got to know, and myself.  The monster stopped making noise, so we figured he'd given up looking for us; we decided to check.  He stood in front of the shaft, and on some strange instinct my friend rushed over and tackled him into it.  I'd always wake up there.

2. Can't really control what you do in a dream, unless you're lucid dreaming. Connecting through the dreamworld mostly involves sharing a dream with someone. Come to think of it, it'd be really awesome if two people who can lucid dream shared a lucid dream with each other.

I had a dream where everypony on the forum hated me, and wouldn't stop yelling at me for doing things wrong and kept telling me to leave the forum. So I eventually just curled up in the corner. When I woke up I got really scared that might actually happen :'(

Here's the one dream that I can remember ridiculously clearly.
It all started when my subconscience decided that I was going to be a Japanese schoolgirl with blue hair. I looked something like Konata from Lucky Star. I was at a dance party in a school cafeteria, and I meet one best of my friends there. I couldn't quite see his eyes, though... Anyway, the two of us hung out until the party was over. We walked down the sidewalk next to the school building. All of the sudden, we hear a noise. Apparently, my friend was a celebrity, and a bunch of gay paparazzi started chasing us from the bushes. We managed to lock ourselves in a parked mini van, and we looked ahead. There was a large church building in the distance. Suddenly, dark clouds showed up, and it looked like it was about to storm. Then there was an ENORMOUS lightning bolt (between 2 and 3 feet in thickness) that struck next to the church. My friend and I watched in awe. Then, a second bolt of lightning came, but it was much closer. I think I was getting a little nervous. Then, a third bolt struck, and it was ridiculously close. I could see the electricity pulsing on the surface of the ground all around the mini van. It looked like a fourth lightning bolt would strike the van next. It was about to strike, but then I woke up to my mother/alarm clock. Thanks mom...

Now for a pony related dream. This one made the least sense.

There were some china cups on the high shelf in the bookcase, and apparently they were considered "forbidden." Fooling around with these cups was also considered "forbidden." Once the four of us started eating lunch, somebody notice that some one had turned the cups. The only way to make sure a pizza was forbidden was to water on it with a hose. They did just that, and the piece of pizza Fluttershy was holding became colorful with a metallic/holographic shade to it, indicating that pizza was forbidden. She was blamed for it, and she was kicked out of the house. I, feeling guilty, later confessed that I was the one that fooled with the cups, and then told Fluttershy what actually happened. I then got a big hug from her. That's where it ended...

I had this dream once where I was fighting this giant three handed clown that was trying to kill me with Frisbees. Somewhere near the end of the fight, I switched genders to a dude and turned into Riku. With a keyblade. And started flying.

I have one of those future dreams once.... something bad happened and it actually happened ON THE DOT the EXACT way it depicted it would happen a week from then at the right time.

Usually my dreams happen in present time, some in space some in here there.. everywhere.  I never, though, dream of a future that comes true like the precognition we were discussing.  Anyway.  Let's see, I think once I dreamed of a girl, She was running some sort of errand and it was as if mother nature herself was hell bent on keeping her from doing this.  Obstacles appeared out of nowhere trying to stop her.  I remember many different things from many different dreams.  Fighting ninjas, Killing zombies.  You name it I've dreamed it!  But they tend to be twisted, like a game world not fully loaded there are "holes" in which things sneak in and out freely making any world their home.  Hmm.  I'm not sure how to explain that further. perhaps, think of it like a movie.  My dreams are movies that play through with pre-wrtten scripts.  They change and bend as they wish (as I imagine all peoples do) But they twist in ways that are just so wrong, adding characters, making up new ones from scratch.  I guess I'm just a raving lunatic, aren't I?   

A week or two ago, I started keeping a notebook and pen next to my bed so I could write down dreams immediately before I forgot them. Then I had a weird dream, then dreamed that I woke up and wrote it down, and immediately forgot about most of it.  >:O

Okay so I just dreamed that the cop kid (Robin) from the newest batman movie was up at this cabin way up in the mountains, when suddenly someone told him that The Joker was lose and had never been rounded up after the prison had been opened.  Now Robin had come to acquire this ring that THe Joker was very interested in and at one point, even drove a car off a cliff in an attempt to get it.  Giving up the ring to save a kid that The Joker threatened to drown, Robin set off on an epic quest to find him, enlisting the aid of (You guessed it) Ponies!  Though they were like, miniature ponies, and they slept in a cage.  The first night, they all made funky noises and kept him up, except for Pinkie Pie who somehow managed to get out of the cage and was sleeping on a pillow right behind it.  In the morning they team set out to find the joker and stop whatever it was he planned for that ring.  They entered this minecraft/skyrim mixed world, and began to hunt.  The joker, being used to this sort of chaos, began to fool with them, playing tricks and messing around.  After a few minutes a messaged appeared on the center of the screen (So I guess my dream was a movie or something, maybe a video game) that read: "After 6:33 The Joker has won with no items."  They arrived at The Jokers lair, trying to figure out how exactly he won, only to find that when they attacked him his head grew into an oversized kinda creepy looking troll face, and he began to run super fast chasing people down. A few well placed arrows killed him, only for him to respawn as Shaco (League of Legends champ) and come charging again, growing a troll face each time he was attacked, it being reset when he died.  Though unable to discover what he had won, the group managed to defeat The Shaco Joker  and get the ring back.  They decided to lock it up somewhere safe, and then my mom yelled: "Brook, breakfast is done"

I woke up, flying out of my bed ready to have some french toast, only to find that that was also a cruel trick of my dream.

I told you! The dreams are adapting, using our weakness's against us! One day we could get trapped in the dream world and never wake up at all! (Yep, I love being paranoid.)

Well I had a weird dream once:

I was lying in my bed and I saw many letters flowing around me.
Then they turned into a book. I tried to read it but after every sentence the text changed but still it made sense.
I really wanted read it but then I woke up. The weird thing was, I still had the picture of the book in my head so I was able to read more.
Then on thing came to my mind "write it down!" so I stood up and took a piece of paper and a pen.
But the memories faded really quickly... I couldn't write down anything...
I knew it was important, something I wanted to know! But I just can't remember anything...

I once had a dream where i was a white world and Freddy Kruger was there with me. I was really scared because i thought,"What if he killed? Will i die in real life?". And then he started to move around like supersonic speed and i got confused and decided to watch him go crazy. It was funny actually since he reminded me of Scout from TF2 being given a huge amount of Rockstar energy drinks.  And this is all i remember from the dream since i forgot the rest, but this has to be one of my most random dreams i had ever faced

The whole "get up, instantly forget dreams" thing happens a lot; supposedly you have better odds of remembering them if you lie in bed for awhile after waking up, going over the dream in your mind.

I was having a horribly difficult time sleeping last night. I kept having a hard time falling asleep, and when I would sleep, it'd be a light sleep, so any repeated noise woke me up.

I managed to have a dream where other people were having trouble sleeping too, and they kept waking up. I told them they couldn't sleep because they had their traumas and troubling thoughts on their minds, and if they managed to get through their problems, they'd sleep better.

One weird thing was that we were all in some kind of facility or something, all strapped into open pods or something. It was kinda dark. The walls and pods were darkly colored, black maybe. And the walls were curved, like the giant room we were in was kind of almost spherical, but in more of an oval shape than a circle. It was more likely an egg shape.

This was all in first-person point of view. I think the only reason I remember it so well is because, when I woke up, I stayed laying in bed and thought about it, went over it in my mind, and visualized it in my mind. Like Lurk said.

From Mass Effect

I dunno if before sleep counts, but I had a pre-sleep thought where Queen Chrysalis teleported into my room horribly injured, and she tried replacing me. My family was away for a week in this thought by the way. After stopping her bite with my arm (she still got that arm) and using my other hand to keep her mouth open, I yanked her onto the bed and held her down until she let go of my arm. Then I got her to stop trying to attack me, and brought her down the stairs so I could bandage my arm, then took her down to the old computer room (a bed is now in there)
After clearing it off she got on and I asked her about herself, as I am that kind of person. So she began telling me her life story as I petted her, she literally shrank herself down to about half my height (normally she was twice mine) and I listened.
Eventually, after the night had passed and the sun started coming up (of course I skipped the huge thing as I don't know anything about her) we got the the part with the invasion and she broke down crying. I comforted her, let her stay with me until she recovered, and showed her tons of stuff like technology, the show (her reaction was amused), and near the very end of it, when I finally felt myself starting to sleep, she was about to shapeshift into a human female (nice looking at that) and go out to see what society was like, with me of course so she'd be out of trouble.

Hmm, well, I've never played any of the Mass Effect games. So, I don't know how it relates to the dream I had.

Well in the first Mass Effect, Saren (The bad guy) was trying to cure the Krogan of a genetic modification brought on by the Salarians which allows only 1 in 1000 pregnancies to be fertile.  They were growing the Krogan in tanks.  Um... Yeah I'm not sure how well that explains it but you said "Tanks" and "Clear" and "Dark"... and I thought of Grunt the Krogan in the second Mass effect who was grown in a tank with no sleep rather just kind of stasis in which memories were implanted into his brain.

Sometimes, my brain will reuse a place it came up with in a dream I had before. It's like it just comes up with a place for a dream to take place in, and then later on, it'll reuse that same place for a different dream. I think the place it has reused the most is the weird Walmart it made.

Yeah, my brain made up a really weird Walmart to reuse as a setting for my dreams. That Walmart has an aisle for gigantic rugs, and there's a weird-looking pet store, and... stuff like that. I dunno. My brain usually puts strange things that you wouldn't find in a normal Walmart, and the layout is kind of odd for a Walmart.
(If any of you don't know what Walmart is, it's pretty much one of those superstores people go to mostly for grocery shopping, but they also have clothes, toys, camping supplies, and an electronic section for TVs, video games, movies, iPods, laptops, etc.)

I kind of wonder if my brain will reuse that egg chamber from the last dream I had. Y'know, the one where people were strapped into pods that didn't seem to be closed, and I was strapped in a pod too, and everyone had trouble sleeping.

It's a pretty interesting setting that my brain came up with. I kind of hope to see it again. Maybe I'll find out more about it if my brain reuses it for another dream.

I've never had the same setting in a dream more than once, other than this one dream that was literally an exact replica of one before it.

I have super hero/villain dreams. Sometimes Batman are in them!

Like one I had last month. I was a super villain who happened to be a college student but he was failing classes. He had black hair and glasses, and wore professional "office" clothes. He started terrorizing students by luring them into the woods and them doing weird scary psychological stuff kinda like Scarecrow. Then Batman tried to stop me and started impersonating him.

Kind of a creepy coincidence to find out about the Colorado shooter being a college drop out and showing up at a Batman movie.  :I

I had a dream I was being creeped on by Snape from the Harry Potter series, and I had to find a special necklace he was looking for, to get him to stop. :I It was a very unpleasant dream, very creepy.

I guess thinking about dreaming is making me dream now... anyway I dreamed I was walking down a brout hallway when a man that was a giant was right on the over side sticking out is the wall a bit. When I got close he leaped to kiss ma forehead. I the. Suddenly woke up... Odd

I had a dream that everypony was listing the things they didn't like about eachother in the 'Dumb things that annoy you' thread.

Man, I don't dream very often anymore. It kinda sucks. Dreams are entertaining.

I once had a dream I was in some house, though, and my parents and their friends and the friends' kids were there. I was hanging out with a friend in the kitchen, while my parents' friends' younger children were running around hyper. I hit a button, and both of the doorways for the kitchen were filled with a force field. lol I locked the kids out so I wouldn't have to deal with them!

I'll share a couple more dreams.  :D Not quite as long as the last two cause I don't remember most of them.  DD:

Hercules (Disney version) was on a quest to get to the top of an erupting volcano. There were some other odd characters with him, but I can't seem to remember what they were... Anyway, Hercules then met a giant ogre at the base of the volcano. He pulled out a green lightsaber and began an epic battle with it. That was all, though...

This one is a tad more serious.
There was a young boy with white hair who wandered away from his underground paradise home city. He always carried a small basket with him. He met a girl about the same age as him, and she traveled with him. He went from city to city trying to get back home. He asked countless people about his home, but nobody seemed to know about it. He got to a house in the middle of nowhere. He stopped there, and the man that lived in this house took him and the girl in. The boy asked the man if he knew anything about his home. The man's eyes widened, then he shook his head in remorse. He told the boy that the underground paradise that he lived in was destroyed, and there were no survivors. The boy was the only thing  left of this city. That's all I can remember.

Pretty cool. Dreams with involved storylines are always fun, particularly if they're coherent.

I had a dream last night that a character from an anime I watched recently mind-controlled Aragorn to fight against Gandalf, and then the two of them turned into giant monsters. I haven't even read/seen LotR in ages; the only thing I can think of that might have set that off is reading about LOTRO recently.

So. I was in some kind of castle that was like a mix between medieval and futuristic. Lightning struck a strip of plastic, making it start glowing white, and people called it a key and told me to take it to the king. So I ran off to do so and ended up in a room where there was another person, and Sora from Kingdom Hearts was hanging from some metal bicycle thing and had been brought back to life. The person and I helped him down, and I noticed that his shirt had symbols for the flags of the four cities on GaiaOnline.

I moved on and walked up some stairs, into a hall, and ran into Tamaki from Deadman Wonderland. There were two people with him, who seemed like guards. He's a sneaky guy, but apparently, my character in my dream didn't know that. After talking a bit, I resumed down the hall. There was something about a fridge that wouldn't close, so I gave up on that and continued my little journey.

I got to the king's control room, and Tamaki was there with the king. I decided I wanted to do something else before I turned the key in, so I went outside and sneaked into a dungeon kinda place. But there were these demon things walking around, so I pulled a bow out of nowhere and started shooting them like in Skyrim. Once they were all dead, this guy wielding a battleaxe came running over out of nowhere, so I panicked and started shooting him. He told me not to kill him and I realized he was the prince. He said he's a werewolf and he goes down there to feed, so I told him I was a werewolf too.

I decided to leave the dungeon through the entrance to the castle, but these guards started using magic and trying to kill me. Apparently, I wasn't supposed to go down there, and I knew too much from what I'd seen in there. So... I suddenly appeared back in the king's control room like I had reloaded my last save before I went to the dungeon. I gave the king the key, he said it'd be a lot of help, and then I woke up. Considering Tamaki's presence there, I wonder if I did the right thing.

Three Quarians stood in a semi-circle mourning the death of their friend.  The fourth, the one that completed them who had recently passed.   A female (She had a voice similar to Tali'Zorah from Mass Effect but she was never named) asks the other two if they knew of any rituals that Quarians did in the old days to seal the passing of a dear friend.  The leader (Who I assume was me because I saw it trough his eyes then again from a 3rd person watching it like a movie) said he believed there was no such thing that old Quarians did.  The female approached the memorial they stood in front of and placed a small holographic projector from which spawned an image of their friend.  She spoke to this image "My dear friend,"  she began "We three Quarians stand before you to mourn your passing.  Though we know not what to expect we hope the paradise to which you're sent is beautiful and giving." 

This is all I remember,  I woke up and scribbled as much down as I could on a piece of graph paper. This is what i can make out of my very crappy handwriting!

Dream #1: The first dream that had ponies
Trollestia.


Dream #2: The third dream that had ponies. First time when they weren't just pictures.
The beginning was pretty similar to ending of Return of Harmony pt2. Except Celestia was walking with Mane 6. And music from Star Wars!
Suddenly the glass celiling breaks into small crystals. Then the crystals are LEGOS! I take some legos and start building figures that I'm going to give to mane 6 so they would remember me (Did I knew I was going to wake up?). After I've taken 7th brick (It was gray brick), I start thinking (It's a secret.) and then I wake up.

Dream #3: Random war dream.
My brothers and I were soldiers. We are walking in forst road and find some weapons from ground.
Then I notice we're near my home. Then we have to fight against a tank that shoot smoke shells.
Then I shoot somebody and then I see a magazine where is picture of us and the headline was something about Germany have to give a T. Rex to Russia.
Oh, and there was a lot of slow motions in that dream.

Almost all my dreams so far have been like... really REALLY weird nightmares...

I had a dream that I was in some sort of grim post-apocalyptic video game environment. There were these teleporter pads with little computer terminals sprinkled around the area; for each one, I had to guess the password to make it take me to the next one. The last one would take me to someone I was trying to save, and I was kind of rushing because I didn't have much time.

So I got to the final teleporter, which had a note that it would take me to whatever place I wanted; the catch was that I didn't remember where exactly my goal was. I recalled out that it was somewhere far away from Earth, and I knew the letters "c", "r", and "u", were in it. So I guessed Arcturus, and was teleported there; in my final moments, I realized that the correct answer was Mercury, and then I died. In retrospect, I'm kind of ticked off at myself for making a stupid guess like that. You can't even land on a star...

Well, this is the Weird Dream Thread.  :]

I just had a weird dream! I and a bunch of other people were trying to escape some big dark abandoned building, but there was some kind of evil organization company that didn't want us to escape. We managed to find our way through, hack through doors, and stuff like that. In the final room, we found these weird husky dogs. One was black-and-white like normal, one was white, and one was lime green and white. I took photos, but the photos came out showing brown scruffy dogs instead, so I gave up.

So, we managed to get the final door open, and off in the distance, news reporters were reporting about something else. This guy who was with us used to be in the news business but the news reporters thought he was crazy. The whole time, he had been recording what was happening to us on a video camera, so he ran over there to try to get them to report it.

The rest of us went on to some kind of weird motel kind of place that didn't seem much like a motel. It was kind of secretive. We had to check in through a door. We got settled in to hide for a while, and after I finished unpacking, I met someone. Lord of Madness, from this very forum, in his real life form, not his character.

Madness and his friend showed me that they invented liquid chaos, and they were storing it in their hair. :P They showed me how it worked, and it was pretty cool. But then the evil organization company people had someone kill Madness's friend. :'( Madness absorbed all the liquid chaos he had, started floating in the air, and vowed he'd take revenge.

And then I woke up because my city started testing the tornado sirens.

I had a dream that there was a contest whee you had to collect the most leaves in the street, but then the leaves were popcorn...  o.O

Haha, I tend to dream about fiction blending.  Like, I'm not even present in my dreams 1/2 the time but it's just like a movie I'm watching.  It's kinda cool!

Haha, I tend to dream about fiction blending.  Like, I'm not even present in my dreams 1/2 the time but it's just like a movie I'm watching.  It's kinda cool!

I remember reading something about how some people who grew up with black and white TV dream in black and white. I'm guessing reasons like that are why I'm "playing a character" in half of my dreams, as opposed to dreaming about a supposedly real situation.

My dreams are awkward in that usually they involve me being stuck in some zombie infested world and most of the time I do not make it out
unharmed in the dream, I have had a few fun dreams though from playing too much sonic I dreamed of having super speed and jumping off a cliff onto a rising rocket then running up the side of the rocket, but I've also had just plain creepy dreams where some shadowy figure was following me while I was riding a bike down a dark road.

(I've also had an odd dream where sky pirates tried to take over the field in front of my house it was, well odd.  :I )

I had a dream that started off with me being on a patio with a bunch of other people lined up to show a teacher what book we were checking out for class or something, I dunno. I started thinking about how everyone seeks the truth or something, while two guys who kinda reminded me of Flim and Flam but with blue eyes and no mustache walked past to cut in line. The teacher and the other people kinda laughed and subtly made fun of me for the book I chose. :c

Then, my dream switched to another patio, and people were preparing lots of yummy food and stuff, but people were being kind of mean to me, and someone accused me of saying something racist when all I was saying was that I was having trouble putting my Slim Jims in my pocket. DD:

I ended up with some mean lady who cooked some gross food and barely allowed me time to go to the bathroom. Lots of people were mean to me in that dream, except for Simon and Lewis from the Yogscast.

At one point, I ended up seeing some people in this game room with big inflatable games and bounce houses, and I thought "Reminds me of buffet and Midnighbuscus." I imagined one of the people bursting into purple smoke and a floating spine and demon skull, and I thought "And Midnighbuscus is my bro."

Apparently, Midnighbuscus is my demon friend? o.O

I had a dream where I was in front of a large crowd of people, helping to give a tutorial, even though I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing. A tutorial on what, you ask? I was demonstrating the proper way to fight Bowser with a hose full of chocolate sauce while riding on a motorcycle. At one point I figured out that I could break the hose in half to get two hoses that both sprayed at full power.

I was in a dark room with people. I knew they were there, but I couldn't see their faces. Then this little girl stepped outand spoke in Tiger's voice. I screamed out "I NOW KNOW WHAT TIGER LOOKS LIKE!" Other things I can't remember, then Tiger and I were in a bed and Swebow was singing us to sleep. :I

I had a dream I was Doctor Whooves and I was looking for a girl (not sure why) but when I saw the girl she went into a dark cave with no light in it, after about 5 minutes talking to a child the woman came back out of the cave staring at me...the creepy part of it was that she looked like the grudge and she kept saying "Come and follow me" I woke up after that

I was having a hard time sleeping. I ended up dreaming that I was using my hands to control something and absorb it. But then my dream got confused and didn't know what I was controlling and absorbing, so it kept changing color and substance. My dream ended up deciding it was nothingness, something that doesn't exist but does, something white and liquid but not liquid. It wasn't anything, but it was something.

I woke up with my brain and my left arm freaking out. :c My left arm wouldn't let me keep it still. It kept twitching and moving and tensing up. It stopped after a while. But I'm gonna consider that to be a bad dream because it felt like pure insanity.

I've had some pretty creepy dreams before some that wake me up going whoa! and having an increased heart rate for awhile.

Are you sure that wasn't a dream about liquid chaos again? Or related to it in some way,

Some of my creepier dreams are usually horror based ones I've actually died in my dreams before but I either woke up after that or the dream just changed, another creepy dream was being stuck in the dead rising mall as an old man with back problems creepy when it happened but funny once I woke up and thought about it, it actually cracked me up once I woke up.  lol

If that's what liquid chaos is like, then no human should ever wield it. :c It'll drive the sanity right out of you as its paradoxes confuse your brain and leave your mind in a weird kind of trance or stasis, but to some small extent, not in a trance or stasis.

I started dreaming again! ^-^

The only problem is now nearly every single night I have a nightmare that I'm in a cage and I have to watch everybody in the world die in a giant blood-bath and my family dies last... :'(

I had the stupid one that wont end last night though and the night before I dreamed of posting this. (I'm not kidding.)

Last week I had a dream about G1 pony boy toys fighting. A bunch of them ganged up on one pony, and they were biting and kicking! He was a bad pony, though.

So I just had this crazy dream (Like I JUST woke up) and like.  Well we were at a Wal-Mart and we went back to the electronics section for some reason.  It was super late at night and the place was packed!  So I tok our cart of stuff and checked out to lock in in the car.  While I was loading everything in the back (It was an SUV) some dude just runs right into me.  The kid could only have been like 7 or 8, and I'm just like Huh????  This little guy was running around alone this late. 

Suddenly it jumped to day time, and we were in a Zoo.  We looked at all the animals and everything and went to the gift shop (A Wal-Mart, go figure)  and everything. After, we went and went to a race.  It was a weird race, like those ones you see where the dogs are chasing a fake rabbit around the track.  It was Lions, cheetahs, and tigers chasing a zebra instead.  One of the times they passed us a they all went crazy because the zebra broke, so they began to attack each other until it got moving again.  They chased it a couple of times around again then for some reason one of the lions went astray and charged the fence, jumping it!  (This was at least a 10 foot fence, like waht that have at a NASCAR race [Anyone who's ever been to one knows what I mean, hah]  A really big fence!  He went to maul me, but my laptop computer just barely protected my face.  He tried again and again he failed, so he left off somewhere.

The zoo then tried to compensate by allowing me to refund our tickets and giving a small gift card for the gift shop.  Well, there wasn't anything in there I wanted, so I went back into the girls toys section looking for something MLP.  Well, they had this neat Lego Rarity, and one of those light things... The ones where you place the pegs of different colors thn turn on the light and it makes the picture you made glow.  I really didn't like any of them so we kept looking, unable to find anything.  After searching the whole aisle, my foster mom sees a Luna plushie that is just so cool!  I checked the price tag and it was $699.99.  I was so Read the forum rules.ed that I complained to the customer service and eventually ended up threatening to sue them for almost getting me killed if they did not give me the Luna plushie for free.

I had a series of dreams when I was little where if I didn't turn off my game console before it overheated something extremely bad would happen, all because of this:

I actually had a dream where I had to go outside to feed the dogs in the middle of the night, I live in the country and behind my house is a small forest area and we have a creek separating the forest from our house anyways one of our dog houses is right by the forest and above the dog house we have a faulty light that goes on and off in the middle of the night.

So I was going out to feed her in the dream and once I got to her dog house I put the food in it, and she was eating it next thing I know the faulty light goes off and on once the light flashed on again for a bit I saw a shadowy figure of a large cat in the forest across the creek likely a panther in the dream anyways eventually it made that screeching noise large cats can make which completely freaked me out in the dream I could see my sister feeding the other dog who was much farther away I don't know if I yelled or not in the dream it's like one of those horror dreams where no matter what you try to do you can't yell or even move in the dream after something freaky happens anyways shortly after the panther runs somewhere I wake up thankfully that was probably one of the freakiest dreams I've had in a while.

(I mean encountering a wild panther or something irl would suck completely, and they have actually sighted panthers it's rare but some do live in Missouri especially Southern Missouri thankfully I live in West Central Missouri. o_o )

My mom said she dreamed of us on vacation in Spain when my dad's family abducted my baby brother and she had to kill dad's family to get my bro back. :I

My mom once had a dream while her alarm clock was going off. She was at work, walking around, and every time someone opened their mouth, all she could hear from them was her alarm clock. o.O

Sounds can influence your dreams in pretty weird ways. That's why I don't like for someone to turn on my TV to wake me up. Sure, I slowly come to, but the audio from the TV gives me really weird dreams. I once had a strange, confusing, messed-up dream because someone turned on my TV, and it was showing a baby show.

Um. When a children's show is so childish and lame, acting like kids are braindead, I call that show a baby show. Not even suited for kids, it's just for babies.

My cousin actually got annoyed at me for leaving Invader Zim on the TV in the living room while he was sleeping because he apparently dreamed about the show and hated it because of Zim's voice, he also talks in his sleep depending on what noises he hears, so sometimes it's interesting how he responds to shows.  :I

I've actually been half asleep before only to see a shadow that looked like a spider or something usually when I go back to full sleep I wake up 5 seconds later thinking something was going to bite me in my sleep only to realize it was a shadow that tricked me while I was half asleep, I hate being in the state of half asleep because tons of things can trick you or freak you out when your minds not fully awake, I've actually almost fell before because I hadn't fully woke up yet.

That's impossible!  Nopony could EVER hate ANYTHING about that show!  It's too awesome!

I had a dream that I was asleep but was not dreaming... it was really odd and hard to explain..

I hate those dreams where you dream that you get up, get ready, and go wherever it is you need to go, like school or something. And then you wake up for real, and you're like "UGH, I have to do all of that over again?!"

I had dreams about drowning... And every time I had this, I woke up with no air in my lungs. This wasn't funny, but after I started to practise lucid dreams, I just started to breathe under water  :P


This topic reminded me about something.
In my introduction topic there was discussion about lucid dreams and I told that I was going to make topic about this. Soo, there it is :D (in offtopic I mean)

I just had... the oddish... creepiest... most nightmarish dream ever...

Ok this is how it goes. In my dream we were in a new house. from the door of my room there were criss cross hallways. And outside of my hallway in the darkness would always sit this odd thing. Usually at night. It looked like a human head that sat or was attached to a wheeled square wooden base. It seemed that it stayed in the darkest area. If you turned on the light in the room in which it was in it would automatically appear in another room darker than that one. It had a woman's face. Likely around 13-14 The face was slightly sunk in. for some reason it could though not pass through solid surfaces. But could go under some doors. It also had the ability to change its face into a few other faces. For some reason it liked to sit outside my room. At one point my father opened the door and it was sitting exactly right on the outside WAITING for me it seemed. My father walked right by it and it quickly followed him into the darkness. I could go to sleep in the dream and the dream lasted about 3 days in my head.

I had a weird dream... in the dream I dreamed that I was on the forums in the arts board... I found a thread about pokemon sprites.... and guess what my dream made the owner of the thread... Sugarcup..... I really shouldn't hang out on the forums before sleeping  lol

I had a dream that I was in the back seat of a car, and I was Death the Kid (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081028215641/souleater/images/c/cd/Deathbeelzebub.jpg) (I've been RPing him on a chatroom, shut up). Also in the back seat was Maka (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120909174057/souleater/images/1/1a/M71.jpg). In the passenger seat was Maka's dad Spirit (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090113053138/souleater/images/9/97/Spirit.png). In the driver's seat... was Stein (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090104134943/souleater/images/1/14/Franken_Stein.png), but he was crazy and drunk, and we were all scared that we were gonna get in a wreck.

Weird dreams, eh? Well I've had a couple over my lifetime, but I guess I can share a couple of 'em on here.

There's this one that I remember particularly well from my early childhood. In it I'm standing in my house's hallway when suddenly this stupid brownish-green monster comes up from behind me and grabs me. He then proceeds to peel off my thick skin as if I were some kind of human banana and eats what is left of me, while my entire family watches in horror. I don't remember much else, but I may or may not have actually turned into an actual anthropomorphic banana later on in the dream.

Pretty weird, eh?

Meh. Wierdest dream I ever had was with a talking cat... I don't remember much about it.

I had an odd dream... where everyone did not have a face... but only another fist... and when I learned that it was about chuck norris from a cartoon i woke up :3

Well.. when I was little I had really odd nightmares every. single. night.

I used to wonder why the "Being in public in my underwear" dream was such a typical dream that everyone plays on as if it's relateable. That's because I didn't get one until high school, only I wasn't completely in my underwear, just pantsless. I was worried people would notice, but no one did.

Well, I once came up with an idea for a story where there's an alternate universe, and when you're asleep, your alternate self in the other universe is awake. Dreams come from you and your alternate self connecting.

I kinda I remembered most my dreams. If I recall, there was this one dream where I was in the cliche plot in slaying a dragon or some giant monster and saving the princess. The difference was that the princess had the face of my brother. :I

(Or why I like Lovecraft too much, This was a weird one! It kind of freaked me out when I woke up.)

About... two days ago, I fell asleep on the couch, with my head in my girlfriend's lap and the tv on and family chatting-- nice scene, right?

But this dream (it wasn't really a nightmare. I wasn't actually scared) wasn't. I was confused; I remember both a boat and an old wooden pier with boats tied to it. I think I stood at the edge, with boats beside me. The waves were high and choppy and rain poured down on me. I was completely soaked and I recall that my hair (it's kind of long) hung in my face and for once in my life I was not concerned with it. I just sort of stared out at these waves and watched the lightning. There were no sounds but thunder, and I remember that the thunderclaps were preternaturally loud to the point where they seemed to hurt me.

The part that so shook me when I woke up was that as I was standing there rather stupidly, I had this sudden sense of surety that all the people wherever I was were dead (and I quote, I thought, "I'm the last one left.") and like I could almost hear my thoughts like some weird Twilight Zone style voice over going on about how suddenly I was aware of death and my own smallness and the existence deep below my feet of terrible gods in the dark depths of things...


And then bam, my girlfriend wakes me up with a touch and asks me if I want some of the goodies someone or other brought. All in the course of about 40 minutes.

And that's my weird dream! I'm completely not kidding you. I'm pretty sure my brain stole that from something.

That certainly is weird. :I

Back when I was in middle school, I ended up having a dream where I was walking somewhere, and the ground was pretty flat and smooth. Suddenly, I sank through it and ended up underwater. I looked up at the ground to see that it was a thick layer of ice, and I could see my friends up there. They didn't seem to see me, though. I pressed my hands against the ice and tried to get their attention, but they just wouldn't notice. So I was stuck there, drowning and hoping someone would see me.

Admittedly, I had that dream during a pretty rough time in my life, probably due to bullying and being an outcast, having to mostly go on by myself without any help.

That dream is probably why this picture attracted me so much:

I've also had a drowning dream before, but no one was around at all so I was by myself and couldn't be helped. I actually like unrealistic dreams better then ones that are actually possible.

In my dream it felt like water was in my lungs, I've actually inhaled water before by mistake when I wasn't paying attention at the pool so knowing how that feels makes the dream feel real until you wake up.

I feel like reading all these dreams are going to give me weird dreams

I killed a gigantic spider with nanobots. He was gloating that his plan had worked and there was nothing I could do to stop any of it or save anyone, so I used nanobots to kill him.

There is a device created that can in fact record your dreams. It give blurred  images because it cant quite exactly pin point the nerves it needs

Yeah, I heard about that. o_O
Also, there's a video game coming out about a future that has a company that can record people's memories and dreams, so those recordings can be shared and watched. :3

one time I  had a dream... where none of the computers worked... and for some reason would not ever again.

I had a dream where our house was in a tornado like the wizerd of oz and the care bears were telling me to jump out the window. ( I cant believe I still remember this)

Usually, when my dream has a tornado in it, there are lots and lots of tornadoes, but no one else seems as concerned about it as I am. Is there some kind of symbolism going on there or what?

So I finally had a Slenderman dream a day or so ago, but it wasn't really scary in fact I was chasing the Slenderman with a buster gun from the Megaman series as odd as it is. And it also had a lifebar I almost won but I stared too long and fell down. It also reminded me of a video where Chuck Norris punches a Slenderman someone posted that on youtube.

I'm starting to think this is a sign I've played too many games.  ovO

Last night I had a dream that the 10th Doctor was giving Rose Tyler a gift. It was some kind of coin. A random guy walks up and asks if he is about to give it to her. He says yes. All of the sudden, this guy peals off his skin revealing that he was the Terminator. The Terminator demanded the Doctor to give him this coin. It ended up being a chase scene on a train, and a second Terminator showed up joining the first. I forget how the Doctor and Rose escaped, but the dream ended when it switched to Miles Edgeworth at Twilight's house, complaining that he failed or something.

I once had this crazy dream where I was running from something...I don't what it was  but it was dangerous. I kept the chase on rooftops and then I reached to one rooftop and then I fell down. I went straight through the ground and kept falling into oblivion until I woke up. I had no idea why or what made me to have this dream.  >.<

I was in some weird FPS RPG game, and I was in this weird junk yark. Every so often were these posters that said "JOIN" and had a picture of a helmet or something like that. Some of the posters near them said "G.S.U" vertically and had a weird syringe, and a different one advertized "Waterside Academy" or something like that. I misread the "G.S.U" thing as "G.U.S." after reading "JOIN" and then read "Waterside Academy"
Then, it hit me, and the words moved to spell out "JOIN US Waterside Academy."
The music changed to a slow, creepy, evil thing.
"Hey guys, I found out the secret about where the Dark Brotherhood is located!"
I ran off to tell other people, fell off a ramp, tried to get back up...
Dream ended.

I had a dream about Fallout a while ago, this one stood out more then the others.

I was wandering around downtown Salem, Oregon which had been hit by a nuke, pretty much crying over it because I used to live there. I passed where a children's museum used to be, then made a mad dash towards a carousel. The building the carousel used to be in was relatively unscathed, but was completely gutted. All the carousel horses were outside, walking around like they were real. My companions talked to the owners of the carousel, and I walked around back. There were more horses, but with huge pointed teeth. I got too close to one, and a ghoul ran out from behind some bushes and threw radiated water at me. I managed to throw a knife into her before escaping. :I

I had a dream in a dream and inside another dream. Lots of spiders. With machine guns. Best dream inside of a dream inside another dream ever.

I had two dreams where i was shoping for ponies. (it was awsome  :3)

I had a weird Minecraft Wind Waker fusion dream I think it had like a world styled in block shapes like Minecraft, I was on an island though, and for some reason I had to cross a pipe to get to another island it was a small pipe going over the ocean which looked like the Wind Waker ocean. Anyways a huge wave or something pulled me under the pipe and I was somehow stuck on the bottom of it. The pipe was only barely above the ocean so I was stuck underwater and couldn't move. Shortly after that I woke up, oddly though I was paralyzed for a bit I think I was still half asleep until I finally fully woke up and could move again.

I've had dreams like that before where I wake up paralyzed slightly then a short amount of time later I can move again. Not sure why that happens other then me being half asleep.

I had LOTS of wierd dreams,so I'll just name few.

The night before last, I had a dream that I was starting a year at high school again, but they hadn't printed some students' schedules. They were letting students copy down their schedules from a book, but only one student could use it at a time. Someone else was using the book, but there was no one else waiting, so I figured I'd wait and just quickly write down my schedule and hurry to class. But when the other person finished, a bunch of other people came over, and someone else took the book. I was like "Hey, I was here first! It's my turn! Please, I'll just write down what classes I have today!" But they wouldn't listen.

Weirdest part is, I'm 20. Why would I be dreaming about going to high school? :I Though, this isn't the first time I've had a dream about going back to high school and the school being so horribly incompetent that I didn't have my schedule.

They were from the future and he said that in his time you had to decide whether you'd like your brain taken away(then you can only walk around and eat,sleep,whatever just to stay alive but you can't think or anything) or have something taken from your life. He chose the latter option and they took his family so he went mad and started killing people. I chose to have something taken from my life so I could still think and stuff so they took my mobility(I don't know who) and the Killer pushed me around in a wheelchair. He became nice,and he even took me to see the future. It was nice, just like in all of the movies,with flying vehicles and skyscrapers.
Then suddenly everything changed to a different dream...sigh.

Oh,may I also add the Killer was actually Vaas Montenegro (that guy from Far Cry 3) but he looked like Dave Grohl...?

I'd watch that movie. :D

i fell asleep listening to this. and all i had was a dream of me holding some girl in the rain lying on the ground crying because she was hurt or killed idk.

Well maybe school is haunting you because it was really stressful and you have bad  memories about school?


Ps. Today I dreamed I was playing the Sims and my sim was some chick that repaired stuff, and she hid from the kids from my street (probably because I hide from them too,they want me to play with them and I'm 5 years older than they are!!!  >:/ They're really annoying.).

I had this really freaky dream that my family and I were trying to survive this civil war/ revolution and we were all hiding out in rooms and the one I chose got the window broken by a bullet so somehow I grew wings and flew (yay!) but then I went back to save my sibling. When I got there, I realized there was no hope and I was barely surviving not to mention my sister had joined the rebellion. I tried to escape by jumping out a window (I still had wings) and running but it was one of those dreams where no matter how much you run, they can run faster. So I gave up on running and went back and they all cornered me. I said I came back to tell my sister I loved her and then some man shot me with twin pistols (much like Death The Kid  :o) and RIGHT then, RIGHT as he pulled the trigger and I was seriously accepting death: I woke up.

I SERIOUSLY thought I was going to die and I was so thankful I woke up!  o_o

I just woke up from a weird dream, but I can't completely remember the details. I'm not even completely sure what was going on.

I remember trying really hard to become friends with someone, even though he didn't seem to care. I think we did somewhat become friends. But then, something bad happened, but I'm still not completely sure what. After that, I ended up in a city on a rainy night, and someone in a limo kidnapped me. I ended up taken to a place where I was going to have to compete against other girls fighting through a forest to get to some goal. I overheard that if I didn't win, they'd kill us all. When they took me to the room where we would be waiting, I tried to tell the other girls, but most of them didn't believe me and just ignored me. One of them seemed like she possibly believed me, but she didn't outright say it. She just said that it would be best not to stand out. After that, we were on our way to the forest. I saw a crowd of people gathering in a big room in front of a huge screen.

And then I woke up.
o_o So, basically, yet another adventure dream, but one of those dark ones.

Yestedray I dreamed I was making a character for Skyrim or probably some other TES game,because it was different from Skyrim (I got to pick my character's gear and skills,and the gear was different)
I made some chick with white samurai-like armor and she used Destruction and Conjuration,but I also remember that I had another male character who looked like Noel Kreiss from Final Fantasy...but evil.
And then there was some half-dead guy lying in the middle of a cave and my samuraichick wanted to help him....I don't remember anything else.
