Cheveyo gets startled and quickly turns around to see Zeal again. He still panting a bit from the running.

Cheveyo: You... Surprise me... As if you came through some dimension. Well... glad everyon is okay. Now, the badgers are gone, let's move forward. We are not far from the ruins. All here is now is tall grass.

"Tall grass? Whats next, we run into a wild pokemon?" Zeal said while chuckling in an manner out of character for him.

Marble : how far are we from the ruins?

Joystick had been tagging along with the group, preferring to stay safe, rather than take unnecessary risks, and just stick with the group, staying far away from any badger. He wound up coming out of the confrontation fine.

"It's good that we don't have much farther to go. Seems clear that these areas are pretty dangerous,"  Joy said, looking at both the area the badgers had retreated to, and partially to Zeal, still not trusting him completely.

Finally with the badger danger out of their minds and their tails, so to speak, they are only just a short distance away from reaching their first point on the island.

The group finally arrive at the ruins. The structures are similar to stonehendge, except with less pillars and a tiny hill made of chissled stones. The structures do not reveal any clear craftsponyship, mostly just stones carved to be long rectangular stones or blocks. However there are some heiroglyhps written on  some fallen stones and on the hill. On top looks like a pedistool, perhaps to place jewelry or some other sacred object. The ruins does show lack of roof-type structures, so it was mostly and outdoors, open.

Cheveyo explores the ruins, awed at how the structure looks. He ponders much of the mysteries it can hold.

Cheveyo: There has been some sort of tribe here, settlers. We may not be alone after all. Try to find clues. Be aware. I do not know if there are any traps lying around.

Zeal watched as Cheveyo and others looked around. Instead of moving along he stood absolutely still with the expression as if he was gazing into space
*in deep thought*
"It seems this is the same area as before. Should I plant the relic back on the or keep it now. But...if I replant it, it could maybe reopen the black hole with us dangerously too close in its vicinity including I."
A smirk rose across the stallions face before he glanced over to where Cheveyo went to, at JoyStick if he was staring at him, and the opposite path. Eventually he opened his mouth uttering the words while pointing towards the pathways as if directing.
"Alea iacta est."

Cheveyo hears a voice, catching his attention and turns around, seeing Zeal utter words he couldn't understand, but unsure what he is trying to do... battle cry, animal call, distraction, excitement yoller, or if the island fever has gotten to him. Either way he calls to him.

Cheveyo to Zeal: You sound like you are calling? What is it that you sounded out?

Marble : wait...shouldn't there be a secret way in?

Cheveyo: Strange words. The sound is like of a warrior's last gasp of air. I never heard of language of that.

He looks closely at one of the fallen pillars near the mound and discovers the writing.

Cheveyo: And I have not seen language of this either. It depics images of ponies, andimals and objects. The writing... must be their story, or messages, or spells, anything. Do any of you know this language?

Sketch looked at the symbols with mild interest.

"I've never seen these before, sorry," she said.

Cheveyo: Sure will like to know. Want to see what you can tell us about it?

Marble : Balmean..this Language stopped existing 3000 years ago...

Cheveyo: 3000 years ago!? Then it must be 3000 years since anypony settled here. Do you know what the writings say?

Marble : let me see...he who enters through this door will be forgotten forever more...
