I don't know that we've worked out the entire guest list for attendance, but we ought to announce the full listing as soon as that's possible. I do know that a fairly large number of team members will be in attendance at this one, however, as I will also be making an appearance. It would be cruel of me to deny my adoring fans my presence.

Let me answer that with one word.

Why... why would you do that? Why would anyone do that? It's... you know that isn't a word!

I appreciate the gestures, everyone, but we really should be getting back to work.

I didn't expect this thread to go in a good direction, but I'm entirely okay with this.

Ah. Fixed that for you. Not quite sure how that one happened in the first place, to be honest. Anyway, resolved.

Why are there no responses to this post? It's one of the most intriguing premises I've seen in quite a while.

I completely agree with everything Tekner just said, but I also have an innate desire to be pedantic. I'm so conflicted. I'm also in favor of this system.

Team Biographies / Brick Stonewood

Welcome, one and all, to the page about me. My name is Brick Stonewood, and I am the Editor-In-Chief of Legends of Equestria. I lead the writing team, which gives me a fair amount of creative control over this project, since the writers are the ones that end up creating the quests and NPCs in the game, among many other things. I always push my team to work as hard as they can to make Legends of Equestria the best game it can be, and I'm always willing to do my part to help them out, of course. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you.

Outside of Legends of Equestria, I've written a good deal of stories both long and short, a few songs and poems, and a screenplay. I'm working on my second screenplay at the moment, and I have my next few planned out as well. I live in Illinois, in a suburb of St. Louis that's right across the state line from the main city. I'm currently working as a server at a hibachi and sushi restaurant, and I am also an AWA-certified welder. I chose welding because it's something I enjoy doing, and because it will allow me the free-time to write more things until I'm so incredibly rich and famous that I don't need a job other than my writing. I've always been the type to keep myself busy with multiple side-projects, and although Legends of Equestria is the largest, it is not the only one, and between all of them, I have eliminated all of the pesky free-time that everyone else seems to be so utterly over-encumbered with. I have a few other games that I'm hoping to make after Legends of Equestria, and the contacts I've established as a member of this team are sure to be an invaluable asset in any future endeavors. I've recently started creating music. I also do my fair share of volunteer work, primarily dealing in political activism.

Here are all of my favorite things ever:

I could never vote for Garfield in good consciousness. Now, that's not because he's completely selfish and cares only about his next meal, often acting at the expense of those around him, while Pinkie Pie actually contributes to society and tries her best to make everyone around her happy, mind you. It's more to do with the fact that I'm a writer, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has much better writing than Garfield has ever had, and Pinkie Pie has received more character development in the past 2 years than Garfield ever managed in his 34-year run. She's also made me laugh during that time, which is more than I can say for that cat. I've honestly never been drawn much to unadulterated cynicism with no constructive intents. Lastly, Pinkie Pie has a much better singing voice.

I, too, am appreciative of Scootaloo. Here are some of my favorite moments, and also a different one, which I care slightly less for.

I'm fairly certain there's no way of seeing a list of the ranks at this time. Really, though, what fun would it be if you could just see all of them right away? Given the proper amount of time, I'm sure they'll all spring up sooner or later.

I've found that I can't see who has given me reputation. Shame.

Also, people are going to rep posts that they like, plain and simple. It won't be a quality issue as much as a, "I like/dislike this" issue.

Also, I'm waiting for the thread that says, "LOLREPMEPLOX."

Well, so far as I'm aware, it's currently impossible to have a system that is based on actual quality, as I do not believe we have machines that are capable of recognizing quality. Although popularity is not the same thing as quality by any means, the two are more often in correlation than are quality and quantity. To reward each post equally would directly undermine a crusade toward quality, whereas rewarding popularity does, at least, act as a step in the right direction, as quality posts are more likely to be popular among the users than are the posts which consist entirely of smileys or phrases such as the example you have just given. Having said that, we would welcome any reasonable ideas for improvement with this system.

Thank you for the fix, Anya.

I've found an interesting bug with this, but it seems to be an error with the modification itself, so I'm unsure whether or not there is an immediate solution available. Still, it can't hurt to report it here, and perhaps you can find a solution where I failed to. On the users' profile pages, there appear the "good" and "bad" reputation buttons, but upon clicking either, one receives an error message. If the modification package for profile comments is simply not able to work in combination with the one for the reputation system, perhaps there is some way to simply disable it from appearing on these comments. I've never been much of a coder, as you're well aware, so I hesitate to modify anything myself beyond the simple cosmetic aspects, such as the titles for each rank, and the like. We had a lot of fun with those. At any rate, if anyone wants to make an attempt at fixing this, I'd consider your own chances of success well above my own.
