A thread for all things minecraft

We can discuss texture packs, mods, mobs, favourite things, annoying things, creepers and such.

I shall begin a discussion

My favourite thing is the adorable shake animation when a wolf goes into water

Rules:

-I like Minecraft Pixel Art.

-I use the KoP 64x64 Texture Pack with OptiFine (MCPatcher is not fancy enogh!).
-I use the Matmosphere mod and some others.

I'll be honest.
I got it right before the Nether Update, and since then I feel like it's been going downhill.
I played it to see if I could survive in something like a tiny, poorly made hill house in the tiniest of savannahs.
Now all I see is making potions, jumping for crits, and bland landscapes.
I used to like it, though, so it holds a nice place in my heart for starting my liking of randomly created terrains.

I went monster hunting one night, and accidentally left the door to my wolf room open. When the sun came up, I went inside, and turn to see a creeper in the corner, who proceeded to blow up. I didn't die, but about 2 of my 9 wolves did.

I'm not that big a fan of minecraft pixel art, only really good ones and it's wierd that I like to build on mountains too

I prefer Creative. I really like to be creative and build fun and cool things.

I hope to one day find the perfect spot to build my own Yogcave (Yogscast fans know what I'm talking about). I think I found a seed that has a brilliant place for one.

Also, I want this Minecraft wolf plush!

one time I was out in my mine, and I had my door closed right? well I ran into a skeleton and ran because I just started didnt have a weapon. I went up my stairs not only was there a skeleton and a creepe OUTSIDE, there was two creepers inside. The amount of rage that day couldnt be contained.

I really dislike the creative mode because it's so boring...

because the feeling is much better when you build something with your own collected things.

Seems awfully big, so if I make it into a Yogcave, it'll need to be a biiig Yogcave. Multiple floors and everythin'.

Speakin' of ze Yogscast, I just started rewatching Sunshine of Israpony. Our heroes try to survive in New Equestria, using the technic pack mods, a very pretty texture pack, and the Mine Little Pony mod. But then a sinister evil arrives, and they must travel to such places as Appleoosa, Ponyville, Cloudsdale, and Canterlot!

Oh well, as for my own Minecrafting, I build whatever I feel like, mostly towers with everything needed in a ~16x16xtall box, I have yet to build one to the new limit.

Currently I am working on a hobbit hill of my own, I admit, I kinda cheated, I found a giant cave that hollowed out the ground and built a hill ontop of it, but again I am making the rooms in wood and to keep them brightly lit, cosy, and spacious at all the same is proving hard.
I call myself Travius Smallburrow while in the hill.

I almost always use the normal pack, to make sure my stuff also look good to the other players, but my favoured pack is Glimmars steampunk, it catches the dark steampunk style I like so much perfectly.

Well I had my own Texture Pack before I tried KoP.
I mixed it for my interests.
It contains: DokuCraft, Glimmars Steampunk, LB Photo Realism and two other packs... I forgot the names.

Well, I'm on a new one for me right now, it will contain: KoP, LB Photo Realism, Honeyball, LB RPG Realism and I'll make some textures by myself.

I think it's easier to build and to enjoy Minecraft with your own texture pack^^

It's kinda creepy-looking.
