The Haylanders

When the scrumpy, expected
All the fabulous hats, collected
The Gypsy Zebra came down, intoxicated and respected
Call forthed his brothers, directed and selected

Raising his hoof, stripes black and white
Brothers looked up, with eyes of plight
Waiting for the speech in the noir of night
From the leader they loved, so fearless and forthright
"The Machina is cheap" he grinned to incite

The brothers nodded, raising their tankards
"isn't it though" the zebra unhampered
Drinking it down, on their flanks they landed
Looking at each other and agreed with "standard"

Who are we? What do we do?

The Haylanders is a Herd formed by a small team of companions who share an idea; to create a herd that shall attempt to cover all aspects of Legends Of Equestria, whether it be large PvE group activities, 'Pony vs Pony', or casual/RP events. We have already established a leader and group of Officers, as said before, we will attempt to cover all aspects of the game, so almost everypony is welcome in the Haylanders.
Although we will be covering the more challenging parts of the game, we are a casual community with no strict boundaries or obligations to the Herd, you retain your freedom whilst still having the opurtunity to take part in Herd activities, ofcourse, the more one contributes to the herd, the more one gets back. We also hope to plan our own activities and events within the game once our Herd grows larger.

Who do we accept?

Everyone is given a chance, there are no age/timezone restrictions, but we will not be lax with our rules and regulations within the herd,
         if you do not follow the ways of the herd, you will not have a long stay
I should also note that this is not being planned as a small, group like herd, we are aiming for a larger, but closely bonded community

Is this a Roleplay Guild/Will there be Roleplaying?

As previously mentioned, we will cover all aspects of the game, members are free to roleplay within the herd, but please remember that not everyone will want to roleplay, and vice versa

Why aren't you taking applications yet?

The game is still in a very early stage of development, early enough that changes to the game may effect the way the herd is ran, limiting a number of ponies per herd, for instance, for now, I will provide information as to what I hope for in a herd for Legends Of Equestria

Original Characters / Gein'zu (Errr..Ozzy)

Name: Gein'zu
Race: Zebra
Coat: Light grey with dark grey stripes in various places
Eyes: Orange
Mane/Tail: Most often tied up into locks, otherwise in a mohawk
Mane/Tail Colour: Two seperate shades of dark grey, one almost being black
Occupation: Currently none, was once a forager
'Cutie Mark': Celtic Triad
Origin: Zebrica, Pride Savanah, currently resides in the Muudi Desert
Other Notable features: Wears an Orange neck cloth, along with an orange headband and armband, somtimes speaks in slightly broken english if he doesn't understand certain words


Gein'zu was born into a relativly small tribe of Zebra who once resisded within the pride savanah, a land far from equestria, part of the nation of Zebrica, life was hard for the small tribe in the harsh lands, food and other supplies were rather scarce as it was, and competition from greater, more powerful tribes was a constantly looming threat over Gein'zu and his family, most of the land was controlled by the two most powerful tribes of the land, eventually, the tensions between these two tribes became too great, and fighting broke out across the savanah, for small tribes like Gein'zu's, this meant that they had two choices: pick a side to fight for, or leave the savanah, this decision was not hard for the Tribe, they fled the savanah, and headed for the Muudi Desert in the neibouring nation of Camelu.

The desert was an even harsher land than the savanah, regardless of the relative peace they had found within it's dunes. Many of the already dwindling tribes members had left for other pursuits, unable to tolerate life in the desert, many returning to the savanah to fight. After what seemed like an eternity of struggling for mere survival in the desert, pot luck had smiled down on Gein'zu and his tribe, they came across a great oasis within the scorched sands, rich with fresh water and fruits, this was the perfect place for the tribe to settle, and begin a new, they had found thier personal atlantis in an unforgiving land. Today they find themselves basking in the peace of thier sanctuary amongst the burning sands, enjoying the peace they had found, the fighting of the savanah and the cruelty of the desert no longer fresh in thier minds, they had finaly found what they had been searching for.
