 One day you pass an ascetic in the woods, a great holy-pony who could not have been older than twenty and two years, but upon conversing one finds him of greater wisdom than one of such an age ought to be. No, he is not quite enlightened yet, he says but through the great wandering path of 'the way' he's found the elixir of eternity. And upon him you set your inquiry.

As the man was never entirely sociable he did not impart what great vat of knowledge he had stored deep within and shortly afterwards he wandered into the woods. One might follow him if they would, but they would not find hair or trace of the old sage and the journey for the knowledge of what wish one would have is limited to the small sentence he dropped before one.

And so it began . . . the endless torrents of rain upon equestria, the never ending downpour that seemed not of this word but others as well and maybe beyond worlds. Immeasurable buckets of rain fell each day and slowly pony-kind was lost for explanation. There was no hope . . . the rain was unending.

I do decree, I'd like to know my true potential as an artist, if struggling to improve myself is worthwhile or futile. And I'd like to know it without doubt or ability to disprove, so I might turn upon myself and find what aspect would be best to cultivate.
