You receive an envelope in the mail, sealed with an emblem you have never seen before. Upon opening the letter, instead of the usual piece of paper with writing on it, you receive an unknown electronic device.



Upon pressing the large circular button located at the bottom, the dark screen lightens up with a variety of colours. Said colours are in formation to show certain words:

"The birth of the Union Aerospace Corporation starts with you. We are one of many that exist in this small universe of ours, but we can assure you that we are one of the most dominant forces around here. Our technology is superior, our workforce is superior, our policy is superior, and our price rate is, well, superior. The UAC is the pinnacle of pony-kind.

We have already accepted you into our program. However we will need more information in order to place you into a suited environment in our corporation. Space adventure is fun, although new and dangerous. It hasn't been a century and we've gone so far as the exterior of our Celestial System (that information "was" classified, but since we accepted you, you have the right of knowledge to know that). Fill down the information below and we can get you started.

I know a lot of stuff is unknown to you is classified. Only so many ponies know of these newly discovered regions. You'll see under the ink after we accept you.

Nameless began to trot up onto the hilltop, bands of sweat coursing down his fur. He knew that once he got up there, it was finished. He couldn't give up now.

He ate his final energy bar to replenish whatever energy he could muster. Once arriving at the hilltop, a ball of fire engulfed him.

He tried to react but all he could do was tumble back down the hill, forcing him to climb back up once more.

I can do a lot with these posts. Get a better understand of the character's personality, stuff like that, etc. The longer it is, the more I can do.

Personality: Though he is helpful, he never opens up with others. Isn't scared to try new things, but can be bull-headed when it comes to taking on a challenge.

Motive (any reason you want to join the UAC and make the universe a safer place?): Blazing decided that his skills in surveying and navigation were being wasted on the fully realized Equestria, so Blaze decided to put them to better use in charting planets.

Alignment: (Like D&D right?) Chaotic Good

Backstory: Born and raised in a small hamlet, Blaze always loved to map his surroundings. When his spatial sense kicked in, Blaze decided to leave home to get a masters in geography and ended up with a minor in astronomy. Then being able to contain his wanderlust no more, Blaze took off into the world as a nomadic cartographer. Realizing that the whole of equestria had already been discovered and mapped, Blaze looked to the stars where new uncharted planets were being discovered.

Relationships (if any): None, his nomadic lifestyle never allowed it.

Special abilities: Perceives the landscape in a radius around him in three-dimensions as long as he is making contact with it. This perception also gives him rough measurements. Can meditate to increase the radius of his perception and/or move its focal point. Remembers everything he perceives this way in a 3D mental map.

Age: (dont have an exact one decided, but shes finished school and is probably around twilight's age)

Appearance (either description or image is fine): Sapphire Blue mane with Platinum Highlights, Diamond blue coat, Golden-yellow eyes.(my icon is a picture of her)

Personality: Sparkle is a very spontaneous, random pony. And will often switch between moods, one minute she could be frustrated, and 3 seconds later, shes grinning happily.  She also does her best to make the best of any situation, and when the mood is somber, she will try to lighten the mood with a joke.  Sparkle is hardly ever in a bad mood, and when she is, its never for long, and shes typically back to her normal, sunny self in no time! Even in times of panic, sparkle always tries her hardest to do the right thing, and maintains her polite manner, even if it's the end of the world.  Sparkle cares deeply for her friends, and is concerned for their well being constantly, so if any of them are put in danger, she begins to panic. However, she can easily be calmed with a quick reality check. Sparkle is very clever, she often uses her smarts to solve many problems and puzzles, she is also capable of coming up with creative ideas for her unicorn magic, such as invisibility, transformation spells, and making keys/breaking locks. She is also extremely skilled at strategic planning, weather its coming up with a plan to sneak into Sombra's castle, or playing checkers, she almost always has the perfect plan.  Sparkle can often be found daydreaming, and is very curious about the pony mind, she is constantly wondering about what ponies might be thinking about, or what their dreams are like.  Sparkle is also very trusting of others, and prefers to travel in a group than on her own.  Because of her trusting and teamwork-reliant nature, she often feels unsafe when she is alone.  (the following text is a list of her flaws, and does not directly relate to the text above, but its still part of her personality, so i figured i'd list them anyhow): Sparkle is the kind of pony who leaps before she looks, and falls hard afterword.  Due to her rather spontaneous nature, she'll often end up dangling off the edge of a cliff because she was chasing a villan.  Although her intentions are good, she will often end up in quite a heap of trouble when she's trying to help.  Sparkle is rather sensitive, and is easily hurt, often taking teasing literally, only realizing after that the teaser was just joking.  Due to her rather sensitive nature, Sparkle is rather quick to cry and express her feelings, especially if a friend is hurt, and sometimes this leads to awkward situations.  She also has somewhat of a temper, which she tries her hardest to control, but if somepony makes her mad enough, then she will basically explode at them, sometimes(but vary rarely) resorting to violence.  Sparkle also has a habit of misreading situations, and will sometimes say the wrong thing, leading to more awkward circumstances.  She also has terrible timing, and often speaks up or acts to early or late, leading to even MORE awkard situations(poor sparkle, being so awkward all the time xD).  Sparkle is a fan of practicing magic, but when she is learning a new spell, it more often than not backfires, leading to catastrophic events, temporary memory loss, and sometimes genetic alterations, which can be reversed.

Motive (any reason you want to join the UAC and make the universe a safer place?): Discover and Document new and unknown space anomalies.(simplified version: Research. FOR SCIENCE!)

Alignment: good (im assuming you mean if my character is good or evil, correct? i'll edit my post if this is not the case)

Backstory: (the following is a brief summary of my OC's backstory, for a detailed version, search Sparkle Chord on the Rift Cafe Wiki.) Sparkle grew up in the busy city of Manehattan.  She didn't have many friends and spent most of her years in isolation, often studying her magic in her free time.  Since her father was an astronomer, Sparkle grew interested in space, and dreamed of seeing it one day.  About a year ago, she went to Canterlot to attend a ball, only to find out the city had been taken over by a villain.  In Canterlot, she met Keldeo.  And the two worked together to save Canterlot.  During this time, Sparkle and Keldeo grew very close, and became good friends.  Sometime after this adventure, Sparkle left Keldeo without notice or saying goodbye.  She felt awful about this, but she never returned to see him again, in fear that he might be mad at her for leaving. (and then a year later brings us up to the time of this rp)

Relationships (if any): Keldeo(close friend whom she went on an adventure with in canterlot, but they got seperated, and never saw each other again)

Special abilities: Advanced Teleportation Spells, Healing Magic(everytime she uses it, it drains a little of her life energy, so the spell's power is limited) Advanced knowledge of quantum and theoretical physics.
