Tea vs. Coffee the battle of the beverages?
TEA
It Is!
Tea. Coffee's way too strong.
They're both nasty.

What the... soda barbarians :<
I like both.
Whoa whoa whoa, who is wanting to start a war with me?
I actually have somewhere I have to be but I had to stop in my tracks and put out this fire when I was made aware of it's existence!
Teaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! ovO

Mostly coffee, but I love the sweet tea at McAllister's restaurant. I love that their sweet tea is so popular that they sell it by the gallon.
Coffee FTW, there's nothing like a hot steaming cup of black coffee in the morning to start the day, then at least 6+ more throughout the day ovO.
Cowboy Coffee:
Extra stout, black, and no sugar with just a couple ice cubes because I hate waiting.
Once and a while I like to put a teaspoon or two of honey or maybe throw down some cloves or other spices. Sometimes I add whipped cream.

No marshmallows in my hot chocolate.
Hot oolong in the morning between breakfast and lunch. Iced (decaf) black during the day and evening. Occasionally green, sweet, chai, mint, etc. for variety.
Coffee always tasted burnt to me.

It's obvious: Coffee. But ONLY with milk.
Drinking some tea right now
I don't like either.... but between the two, I'd go with coffee because it makes as a good flavor for ice cream and caramel frappuccinos ^^ Plus, I really like the coffee shop smell~
woo, Tea wins all the way!
I like orange juice !!! :3
I like a little smell the coffee but not tea...
I have already tasted the coffee, a long time ago ! 0:)
My favorite drink is orange juice !!
Silly pones, the true answer is that they are both good
...not together at the same time though, do NOT try that, now go, live life... its too late for me ovO
But they're good separately ^-^

Haha, yeah, Coffee can revive people....Just like smelling salts can! =P
Now
tea...Tea can be used for enjoyment! *-*
Coffee can be used for enjoyment. In fact, it's the standard when it comes to dating. Never have I heard someone say "So, do you want to go have tea sometime?"...
Coffee also has health benefits I didn't know it had before.

Coffee 4 Lyfe! ovO
Water.
I keep hearing and seeing stuff about this thing called Bubble Tea, and I kinda wanna try it.
A friend of mine recently told me that a fast food place here sells Bubble Tea, so maybe if I ever feel up to stopping by there I might try some. I've never really gone there before.
When I saw pictures of the brown kind of Bubble Tea, I was kinda hoping it was some kind of coffee, but... eh. Apparently, Bubble Tea has milk in it? I've tried a chai latte before, which is apparently tea with milk in it or whatever, and it wasn't too bad, so that makes me more comfortable about trying Bubble Tea.
From Wikipedia: "Most bubble tea recipes contain a tea base mixed/shaken with fruit or milk, to which chewy tapioca balls or fruit jellies are often added. The "bubble" refers to the foam created by shaking the tea, which itself is called "pàomò" (泡沫) tea, meaning "frothy/foamy" tea. Ice-blended versions are usually mixed with fruit or syrup, resulting in a slushy consistency."
Bobba? It's pretty good in smoothies, but I'm personally not fond of the bobba tea. That's likely just my personal tastes, though.

Water.
This is the only correct answer in the thread.
In all seriousness, tea is better. Coffee tastes horribly bitter, also, tea is more healthy.
On the plus side it's more fancy, and fancy is good.
For staying awake, both work just about the same, which is not at all because you build up resistance to it super fast.
However, water is still the best beverage in general, I'll have you know.

Both are horribly bitter. Coffee can be fixed with sugar. I have yet to find a tea I can comfortably drink

Debatable ;)
I chose tea but now I wish I chose both, because both really do have quite a few pros/cons.
Also if you make coffee right it tastes pretty good :3 So does tea with honey
Quote from: HerpyDooves on 2016 Feb 04, 15:07:56So does tea with honey
Amen, The right honey can turn a bland bitter tea into the sweetest brew you've ever drank.
Honey as well (Again, the right kind) can have a lot of medical pros as well.
Going into voice, like I am, Tea is the best beverage because it doesn't dehydrate me but does quite the opposite!
Plus the honey is amazing for my throat, because I have some troubles with that some days, so it helps alleviate that.
Honey alone gives so many possibilities to tea, I'm not even going to go into the types of sugars! lol

Sounds like you've only had the 7/11 equivalent of tea. lol

Which reminds me... I should make some coffee.
I prefer tea.
Coffee tends to not agree with my taste buds and it has way too much caffeine. It puts me to sleep.
Tea, in either the hot or iced varieties, is good for a good sit down with family or friends, it generally tastes good, and it is good for relaxing after a stressful day. :)
I prefer tea. It serves as less of a laxative :P
Tea. I'll drink coffee if you dump a ton of sugar and creamer in but otherwise it's just nasty. Smells nice though.

I agree-- there was no "Water" or "Neither" options!
Well....I guess I can't blame people. Mustn't be many Canadians here. American coffee is passable at best except certain brands. I found out when I was visiting a friend in the states a couple months ago I liked Gevalia brand. I always have difficulty finding decent coffee whenever i'm down south of the border. Dunkin is ehhh. Even McDonalds coffee, which is passable here, is not good down there either
Nothing beats Tim Hortons. Nothing.
Almost all coffee down here is absolutely horrible, yeah, but the tea is also ill-prepared (from where I've been, at least). I can't stand either of them, save for coffee when I'm absolutely dead tired and in need of staying up another 2-5 minutes.
I don't really see how this poll is rigged. If anything, including the coffee option was a waste of time :P
Coffee. Derp :P
